Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Prologue

Prologue

"Hello, everyone! We are back!" The host's voice echoed across the grand auditorium, filled with an eager audience. "Today, we have with us none other than Madam Sana Khan, a legendary figure in the world of science. At 91 years old, she has already claimed seven Nobel Prizes in the fields she studied, but today, she is here to share yet another groundbreaking discovery."

The crowd erupted in applause as the camera panned to the elderly woman sitting gracefully on the stage. Her brown skin, weathered with age, bore the marks of a life filled with relentless pursuit of knowledge. Wrinkles lined her face like the rings of an ancient tree, each one a testament to her long and fruitful journey. Her once-dark hair had turned completely white, and a pair of thick glasses now rested on her nose.

Despite her frail appearance, the moment she began to speak, a hush fell over the room. Her voice, though soft and calm, carried the weight of wisdom and experience—enough to silence even the most restless minds.

"Ah… My dear students, my dear people," she began, a gentle smile forming on her lips. "You all know how deeply I am invested in energy conservation. I have spent my life dreaming of a future where energy is no longer a limitation—where we can travel through space without the chains of scarcity. I am old now… and my time in this world is drawing to a close. But before I go, I have one final gift to leave behind."

The audience leaned forward in anticipation. The air grew thick with suspense.

"I have discovered a method to harness energy from the stars," she continued. "And in just a few years, humanity will be able to tap into the limitless power of our very own sun."

A stunned silence filled the room, followed by an eruption of gasps and whispers. The host, Miss Allen, nearly jumped from her seat, struggling to compose herself.

"Oh my God!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with excitement. "Did you hear that, everyone? She has found a way to fully utilize the sun's energy! A problem that has plagued Earth for over two centuries… solved! This is beyond groundbreaking—Madam Sana truly lives up to her title, The Modern Sage!"

Sana chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Pfft… Your reaction is even more dramatic than I expected. It made my day." Her eyes gleamed with amusement before she continued, "As for the project… well, you will see it with your own eyes soon enough. In fact, within two years, this technology will be available worldwide. So brace yourselves… because the future is closer than you think."

The audience roared with applause as she stood up, her frail hands gripping the edge of the chair for support. "It is getting late," she sighed. "I should go now. Thank you for having me." With slow, measured steps, she exited the stage, leaving behind a world forever changed.

Two Years Later

True to her promise, Sana Khan completed her project, launching an energy revolution that shook the world. She established a company specializing in advanced energy solutions, one that quickly became an industry giant—standing toe to toe with the most powerful international corporations.

But time, ever relentless, continued its course. Her health began to deteriorate, her once-strong body growing weaker with each passing day. The world celebrated her genius, but behind closed doors, she fought a silent battle against time itself.

One fateful evening, she called her family to her bedside. Her children and grandchildren gathered around, their faces filled with sorrow, knowing the inevitable had arrived.

With a weak but steady voice, she spoke her final words. "It seems… my time has come," she said, a faint smile playing on her lips. "I have raised you well, so listen to me carefully—do not fight over my wealth after I am gone. I have already divided it among you. My greatest treasure was never money… it was knowledge."

And with that, she closed her eyes for the last time.

The world mourned the loss of a legend, but her legacy lived on—forever etched into history, a beacon of knowledge guiding future generations toward the stars.
