Revenge of a regressor

"My child, you want to kill me ? Then go, i will wait for you. But from now on you and him must leave."

ah what was that, a dream ? But it feel so real and who were they ? And where am i ? And who am i ?

Wait i need to calm down, its too much question, first who am i ? I need to remember something, but the only thing i remember is this dream. I need to find that but for now on where am i ?

Its a forest.

During my walk to explore this place i saw how much the forest was calm, the only thing i can heard was the wind and the noise of animals, it was very restfull.

"AN HOUSE FINALLY" as i screamed seeing an house made of woods with fences that closed animals.

Right as i was reaching out for the door to knock it a girl open it.

"Hi i'm sorry my name is" wait what is my name ? as i thought that, a name came right into my head "Adbone gulliver that's my name".

"Hello Adbone i'm Emma nice to meet you, i heard a scream so i wanted to see what it was".

When i heard her, i was thinking how much her voice was annoying. It seems like a exaggerated voice to act like she's a kind women"

"Haha sorry it was me actually, i was just really happy to see a house i'm lost actually".

"You're lost ? do you want to come in we can talk".

"Sure, thanks".

Her house was beautiful, it was full of books and a table full of food that looks delicious. 

"Take a seat Adbone, so why are you lost ?"

"Actually i dont know anything, i lost my memory i'm not even sure if Adbone is my real name. I just woke up in the forest a while ago after dreaming." 

"Oh i'm sorry, i bet you want to know who you are and regain your memory right ?"

"Of course, but i dont even know where to start" 

"Perhaps, in your armor you may have a scroll map to guide you ?".

At this moment she makes me realise how i was dressed, i got an armour and a sword maybe i'm a knight.

"What is a scroll map ?"

"WHAT ?" she screamed with her annoying voice. 

"You dont know what is a scroll map ? Its like the basic thing in the world."

"no i dont know anything, its like discovering a new world"

"So i have somethings to teach you haha"

"First of all scroll are piece of paper that contain magic power, you can use it to cast the spell in the scroll or you can learned it, but to learned it you need to be train years and years and be really talented only few people can do it".

"Interesting, tell me more about magic" 

"haha you seems to like our little chat"

If only she could stop with her voice

"Haha your right".

"So magic is power that allowed you to do a bunch of cool stuff but you need energy called mana".

"Mana ?".

" Yeah its energy that are everywhere inside of you and in the nature".

"Cool so how can i use it ?".

Magic seems so great, i want to use it.

"Not so fast, even if people have mana it dosen't mean you can use it to cast magic. We will see this later i need to tell you another thing. There is some god called constellations that is beyond our existence, we dont know how many are they, what their goal are and they are very powerful so if you one day meet one, even if its rare never fight it you will die".

"Thanks for the advice, i may leave now is there a city or a village near by ?".

"Yeah it will take you more than a week to reach it, but because you dont have a scroll map i will come with you and guide you there".

Even if she have an annoying voice i must admit that she's really kind 

"Really, thanks it mean a lot are we going now ?"

"First you need to rest, you walk all day there a bedroom upstairs follow me"

She's right, its already night i can't even see anything outside now".

"Here its your room".

it was a tiny room with just a bed and a desk full of book, because of the dust on it, it was obvious that it was rarely used. Honestly it was a bad room, but i couldn't complain about it, she's already doing so much for me even if she dosen't know me.

"Thanks a lot, goodnight i guess".

"Goodnight".

The second i enter the bed i fall asleep instantely, i was so tired.

When i woke up i could feel that my body got a good rest, i need to talk to Emma.

"Hi Adbone"

"Emma i wanted to ask you, when do you want us to go in the city you talked about ?".

"Actually we can go now, you dont have things to pack and i'm not very attached to this house".

As we were walking in the forest, we talk about each other. It was more her that were talking than me.

"But why do you have such big ears ?".

"There not that big ! And its because i'm an elf".

"Elf ?".

"yeah i'm an elf and because of your intelligence i can assume that you're a human".

"Its rude but fair haha i didn't even know about scroll".

"But your kind not like the others human". As she whispered.

"What ?"

"Sorry its just that i dont like humans".

"But why ? Did they do something wrong ?" 

I felt bad as she started to cry, but i didn't know why, something was wrong.

"Hey calm down, its been hours that we walk we can take a rest".

"Yeah your right" She respond as she drying her tears down.

As we started to make a camp, 3 wolf come from the forest.

"I can guide you, but you will need to protect me" As she went behind me.

"I dont know how to fight ".

"Use your sword, do something and quick !".

"AHHHH" i screamed when a wolf jump on me while my body decided to move on his own and cut the wolf on two part.

"What ? you said you didn't know how to fight".

"My body move on his own" i said while both of the wolf jumped on me together.

My body wouldn't do the same twice and i knew it, so i hold my sword and try to kill them myself. It only takes two strike to take them both down.

"What, how did you" as she started vomiting seeing one wolf cut on half and the other with there head cut.

"I think i was a knight before i lost my memory, or something like that".

"Maybe, but its just disgusting" as she restarted to vomiting.

"Lets rest now, you surely will get better tomorrow".

This fight made me realise that i can protect her, she's my friend and will protect her during our journey.

"You can sleep, i will protect you tonight".

"Thanks".

She fell asleep so quickly, she's cute when she's sleeping, but she drools while she sleeps its funny.

"If we encounter some wolf or even other things i need to train to be better" I said, while making a training manikin.

I took a look at my equipement and i saw my sword, i see that it wasn't made of iron, but by another materials and i didn't know what was it. Then my armor was a big one but it wasn't heavy, it was perfect for me to move fast without being encumbered and i'm happy for this.

"Go to sleep, you need to rest, i will wake you up if is there any problems. You can trust me" 

"Thanks but i'm not very tired" I was lying, but i really wanted to protect her, i dont know what is this feeling.

"You are lying i know it" She said with an cute angry face.

"No i sw-" She stop me as she remove my helmet.

"Actually i never saw your face, your beautiful" Her words make me feel good.

"Thanks i think, i will go to bed, please take care of me" i said with embarrassment.

"I will goodnight".

"Goodnight".

While sleeping, I had a dream.

"Hey, so its not doing well it is ?"

"What, who are yo-" i stopped, when i remember that he was the man who was in my dream before. He wanted to kill his dad".

"It seems that you remember me, great".

"What do you want from me ? And what do you mean by its not doing well ?".

"You'll see, it will be funny. For me i meant".

"Wait explain yourse-"

I woke up from the weird dream, the only question that was in my head was, why he said it wasn't doing well ?

"hey adbone, did you slept well ?".

Can i talk to her about my dream ?
