In the middle of a island a portal opened and a 16 year old boy in black dropped from it while screaming.
He crashed hard into the ground and his head was ringing
Max: ow.
A white haired girl with scales materialized out thin air and looked at max with worry.
Moline: max. are you okay?
Max got up while rubbing his head.
Max: I'll need a new skull but otherwise I'm fine.
They looked around and they saw that they were in a forest area.
Max: great. I was so close to killing that lost soul but instead he opened a portal behind me and sent to another part of the world.
Moline: let's look around and see were we are.
Max nodded and moline disappeared in white particles and he started to jump around the woods.
It took a while but he finally got to a part of the woods that has civilization in the end was a shipyard.
But he noticed that the place looked destroyed he didn't know what happened but he has no where else to go.
So he continued his way towards the small village that was destroyed.
When he got there he got a closer look at the damage. windows were broken,doors were busted open, and some buildings were destroyed.
But his steps stopped when he heard someone shouting.
He ran to were the scream was and he sensed two hostile presences.
When he got there the scene was odd for him, men were wearing really pirate like clothing and one even had a sword and one had a musket pistol these idiots ether think they are pirates or there just idiotic fans of pirates.
but those two clowns aside there was a man in ragged clothing and one of his arms was broken and he was one the ground and the two pirates cosplayers were laughing.
He jump down and he grabbed both of the pirates heads and knocked them together knocking them out cold.
The man heard the sound of bones cracking and a as he looked up he saw a boy in all black.
Villager: wh who are you?
Max: no one special. Give me your arm.
The villager didn't who this boy was but he didn't look like a pirate so he looked a little concerned.
So with some hesitation he showed his injuried arm to him.
But to his shock his arm started to heal just by the boy's touch and the sight was nothing short bizarre.
However to max's point of view his hand is surrounded by a green and black aura that was wrapped around the man's arm healing it.
The man looked at his now healed up arm and while he was gawking max was pickpocketing the pirates for anything that is of identification but all he found was just gold and jewelry, and a small knife and it was wierd that these guy didn't any form of identification.
The villager thought that max was stealing from the pirates but he then saw how even with jewelry in his hand he look completely uninterested and he put his hand on his chin in a thinking position.
Villager: um excuse but who are you?
Max's thoughts were interrupted by his question he wasn't going to give out his identity to this guy even though he helped him he was on unknown territory.
Max: my name isn't important. What happened?
Villager: you don't know?
Max: know what?
Villager: this place is the territory of the brick pirates they just came in and they raided our village and we had to go into woods to get away from them.
Max: ok, look I'll give you credit for putting up the act but seriously what happened?
Villager: that is what happened.
Max looked back at the pirates on the floor and he saw that one of them was waking up.
When the pirates recovered he saw a kid and the villager they were beating up but max let out a wave of killing intent and the pirate was terrified.
He tried to run away but max grabbed him by the back of his shirt and slammed him against the wall then he took out a small blade on the back of his belt and put it up against the pirate's neck.
Max: start talking who attacked this place.
The terrified pirate spit everything out and it was the same as what the villager said but he said that they needed a place to hide from marines.
Max was starting to think that this might be in another world since for one pirates don't exist in the modern days and the only terms for Marines he remembered was for fishers or people on ships.
Max: if you really did raided this place. Then how many people die.
Pirate: why does that matter!?
Max: because if you really are a pirate that means you steal,kill and raid so talk did you kill the people of this village or not?
Pirate: yeah we did what are you gonna do about it it's not like-
In the blink of an eye max slashed the pirate's neck killing him.
he wiped the blood from his blade and walked away to search for those so called brick pirates he has not idea why they are called that but he didn't care.
At bar there was loud laughter coming from inside and inside the bar were the brick pirates who were drinking and sharing stories.
And among them was the leader a man with was holding a cup of beer this was berco captain of the brick pirates.
The fun was ruined when the doors of the bar was kicked open and max stepped in an air of killing intent slammed on the weakling.
Max: who is the captain?
Berco: who the hell are you brat?
Max: my name ain't important what's important is that I'm here to kill your ass.
A moment of silence came in after those words and they all laughed at him clearly not taking him seriously.
Berco put down his cup and walked over to max the man was taller than him and max had to look up to meet his eyes.
Berco: you know something kind I like your attitude how about this you join my crew and we won't have a problem.
He extended his hand for max to take.
max looked at the hand offered to him with an uninterested look he extended his hand.
But instead of taking it he rocked back his arm and punched berco in the face sending him flying out of the bar breaking the wall.
The pirates were shocked at first but then they all tried to jump him.
But max took out his small blade and in blinding speed she instantly killed every grunt.
After dealing with them he made his way towards berco who got out of the rubble but something was different.
His body was covered in stone. Actually not scratch that his body was completely covered in bricks and his arms were covered in bricks creating giant arms.
Max was a little surprised but he was used to dealing with elemental based enemies.
Berco looked at the boy who had a blank looks on his face but he thought he was hiding his fear so like any arrogant pirate he had to boast about his devil fruit.
Berco: afraid? This is the power of my devil fruit the brick brick fruit. Say your prayers kids because you are going to die!
Berco rocked back his arms and when he launched it the brick arm was rocketing towards him.
Brick first Rocket!
Max was processing the information of what he heard he said that he got these abilities form a fruit called a devil fruit yeah this confirms it.
He is in a different world but that aside he was cringing at the fact that this idiot literally named his attacks.
To him that is a stupid thing to do not to mention your opponent can memories it. He never named his attacks because he doesn't need to the only that he needed to name was his ability, the black arms.
But his thoughts aside the brick fist was coming towards him and he covers his body with his spiritual energy aura so that the attack would brush off.
A loud crash was heard and berco thought that the kid was dead but to his shock he walked out of the smoke completely on harmed.
Max decided to just get this done and not waste his time.
He dashed towards berco who recovers from his shock.
Brick gathered around him and a wall of bricks was formed.
Brick wall!
He then made a pushing motion and the wall of bricks went towards max but he once again covered his body in spiritual aura and he busted through not stopping on his dash.
Berco got desperate and he started to make giant brick balls and throw them at max hoping to hit him.
Brick rain!
But unfortunately for him max was too fast and with his small blade he cut through the brick balls not slowing him down.
Max was now close to berco and he is about to cut him down.
Berco was scared that this kid was gonna kill him but he calmed down because he remembered that his body was covered in bricks so he will be okay.
But unfortunately for him when max slashed him the brick armor didn't defend him at all blood came out from his slashed chest and he was of course confused.
He encountered bounty hunters who tired get his bounty and most never managed to cut him but yet unlike those other times this time it felt like the cut was hitting his very soul directly.
Soon Berco captain of the brick pirates was dead and his killer was an exorcist.
After a that incident max helped the villagers get there life back together and they gave him information.
Apparently pirates are a big thing and it all started with one named gold Roger who was the king of the pirates he was executed years ago but before he died he said that his treasure was hidden somewhere in the gran line.
And this was the birth of the great pirate era but no just them the Marines are taking care of them in the name of justice.
But the villager told him about an incident that happened a year ago.
Apparently the son of the pirate king ace was executed which brought the wrath of the whitebeard who tried rescue ace but failed not just them but someone who was a part of the worst generation monkey.d luffy risked everything to save ace who was his brother.
But the biggest thing that happened was that whitebeard who knew gold roger on a personal level revealed that the one piece was real and this shook the world by not a storm but a hurricane.
Max was surprised at what happened a year ago but that aside he was actually very surprised by what happened but that wasn't important he asked were he was and he was in halfway point of the new world.
Apparently the new world is basically a more dangerous version of the grand line and that the new world is the territory of the four emperors.
Max wasn't looking for a fight he was looking for a way back home but he doesn't like his chances of being back.
When the library was rebuilt max looked for books on the devil fruits berco mentioned.
Luckily for him the brick pirates didn't seem to care about books so the library didn't much damage but to what he found out about devil fruits.
Apparently devil fruits are fruits of that gives someone powers like controlling the elements transforming into a animal you name it.
How you can tell something is a devil fruit is by a fruit that has swirls around it.
But the reason why they are called devil fruits was because once you eat it you can't swim anymore and you will sink to your death.
Luckily for max he wasn't a devil fruit user so that could work to his advantage if he encountered another devil fruit user just blow up the ship and let the captain drown.
But he was looking for something to break the dimensional barrier but nothing came up.
But he will look for a way to come back he swore it he had a family that he swore to protect and he will be damned to not see them again.
As for his goals he needs to look for something that can break the dimensional barrier and go back to his home world and explore since he won't exactly be able to find anything in this small village.
After two days of parties max packed some things up mostly food and other necessities.
He said his goodbye to the villagers and made two black wings and flew off.
This world is full of surprises and max is somewhat curious about it he doesn't care much about finding the one piece since treasure isn't his thing.
But still a part of him is looking forward to a new experience in another world.
