Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Rivaling Kingdom's Plot

Scene 1: The War Council of the Northern Mountains Kingdom

The Northern Mountains Kingdom was a land where the cold winds never seemed to end. The jagged mountain peaks were ever-watching, standing sentinel over the land. But the people of this kingdom, nestled among those imposing mountains, had no time to admire the view, they were preparing for war.

King Lin Fengyu stood in the grand war council hall, his heart heavy with the weight of his kingdom's fate. The flames of betrayal had scorched his soul. The Azureal Kingdom, once an ally, now lay vulnerable, and the time to strike had arrived.

"The Azureal Kingdom is weak," King Lin Fengyu declared to his commanders, his voice cold and resolute. "It is time to expand our dominion. With the Upper Realm's assistance, we can crush them and claim their lands for ourselves."

There was a chorus of agreement among the commanders, but Zhou Kun, a seasoned general, raised his hand to speak. "My King, I am not so sure about the Upper Realm's true intentions. This envoy, Xie Zhen, has granted us great power, but at what cost?"

The room fell silent. Xie Zhen, the envoy from the Upper Realm, stood quietly by the far wall, his robes fluttering with an unnatural calmness. He seemed almost otherworldly, his presence both unsettling and commanding.

"I've provided you with the means to defeat Azureal," Xie Zhen said softly, his voice smooth like silk. "Now, you must act swiftly before the opportunity slips away."

But even as he spoke, Zhou Kun's doubts lingered. There was something peculiar about this offer, something that didn't quite add up. Xie Zhen had spoken of a favor, one that would remain a secret for now. It was clear that the Upper Realm's motives were not entirely transparent.

"Do not worry," Xie Zhen continued, noticing the unease. "What I ask for in return is nothing more than your cooperation. All I need is that you do not speak of the child—"

The words fell silent, but the tension in the room thickened. Zhou Kun's eyes narrowed in suspicion. The child? What child was Xie Zhen referring to?

Before Zhou Kun could ask further, King Lin Fengyu raised a hand to silence him. "What of this child? And why is it so important to you?"

Xie Zhen's expression remained unchanging, but there was a glint of something, an emotion perhaps deep in his eyes. "The child... was once an heir to the Azureal Kingdom, a being who was lost to them long ago. His existence could be a danger to both your kingdom and to the Upper Realm itself."

King Lin Fengyu leaned forward. "A danger? How so?"

Xie Zhen's gaze turned cold. "The child possesses great power, potential beyond comprehension. If he grows unchecked, he could bring about consequences no one in this realm would want to face."

The words echoed through the room, sending a ripple of unease among the commanders. Zhou Kun still wasn't convinced, but King Lin Fengyu seemed to accept Xie Zhen's words without question.

"I understand," the king said, his voice taking on a more authoritative tone. "We will keep this child hidden from the world. For now, we focus on our conquest of Azureal."

Xie Zhen nodded. "As long as you do not speak of this child's true identity to anyone, all will be well. The Upper Realm will support your kingdom's expansion in full."

And with that, the meeting was dismissed. Xie Zhen disappeared as quietly as he had arrived, leaving behind a sense of unease that no one could shake.

Scene 2: The Hidden Voice of the Heavens

As the Northern Mountains Kingdom began its preparations for war, a strange event unfolded in the heavens above. The Upper Realm, though powerful, was only a fraction of the true power that governed the cosmos. Above all realms, beyond mortal comprehension, lay the Heavens—an omnipotent force that ruled the fate of all worlds.

The Heavens were the true masters of the universe. Unseen, unfathomable, and far removed from mortal concerns, the Heavens controlled the very fabric of existence itself. They were not bound by time, space, or any laws that governed lower realms.

It was in this eternal expanse that a voice, ancient and filled with unimaginable power, spoke—its resonance echoing through the fabric of the universe.

"The child..."

The voice was not like that of any mortal being. It was not a whisper or a shout, but a sound that transcended language itself, a vibration that shook the very core of reality. The Heavens themselves were speaking, and the tone was one of profound, unfathomable dread.

"His existence… causes ripples across the Heavens."

In the infinite expanse of the Heavens, the voice resonated with a power that made even the highest beings tremble. A ripple of unease spread through the cosmos, an ancient warning that echoed throughout the heavens.

"Should this child grow beyond his potential, the Heavens themselves will be shaken."

For a moment, all was silent in the universe, as if the Heavens themselves held their breath. The words lingered in the air like an unspoken prophecy, one that would shape the fate of everything to come.
