Chapter 1 - THE BEGINNING..

A young man in his twenties sat outside a café, immersed in his favorite Wuxia novel. The setting was serene, with vibrant flowers and lush trees surrounding him.

He had strikingly handsome features and wore a well-fitted gray shirt and matching pants. His presence did not go unnoticed—several women admired him from a distance, whispering among themselves.

"Wow, look at him! He's so handsome. Is he a model?" one of them remarked in awe.

As he was lost in the depths of his novel, the sudden chime of his phone shattered the silence. He pulled it out swiftly, pressing it to his ear.

"Hello?"

A woman's voice, warm yet edged with urgency, drifted through the receiver. She sounded to be in her mid-thirties.

"Where are you, son?"

Seated at the café, engrossed in a book, he was suddenly interrupted by the sound of his mother's voice.

"Is everything all right, Mother?" he asked.

"Yes, everything is fine," she assured him. "I was just wondering if you could pick up some groceries for me."

"Of course, Mother. I'd be happy to," he replied.

"Closing his book, he left the café and set off to buy the groceries his mother had requested. As he approached the road, he glanced at the traffic light. It glowed red, signaling him to cross."

As he stepped onto the road, a massive truck barreled toward him, ignoring the glaring red traffic light that commanded it to stop.
