Chapter 4 - He thinks she's dirty

Steven walked over to the bed, put Daisy down, turned and walked out.

Daisy was about to call him but she opened her mouth and closed it nervously.

She was not familiar with Steven at all, and she didn't know how to get along with him.

Steven has only been working as a bodyguard for half a year. He has a cold personality and almost never interacts with others.

Some people say that his family is very poor and seems to owe a lot of money. He came to the Wilson Family as a bodyguard to make a living.

He was so handsome that all the female employees of the Wilson Group rushed to watch him as soon as he arrived and even broke the glass door of the front hall. However, he was cold and cruel, and ignored everyone, so although the femaleemployees were attracted to him, they made sure to stay away. They moved secretly but because of fear, they didn't dare to approach him.

Daisy had met Steven several times before when she was at the manor. Everytime, he would not spare her a glance and would just pass by coldly. Except for work, the two of them did not utter a single extra word to each other.

Now that she suddenly had a flash marriage with Steven, she was still not used to it.

The room is simple but very clean.

Daisy looked around and saw that the house had been cleaned. There were red window grills. The bed was also covered with new sheets, printed with peonies and red carp. Although these things were old fashioned, Daisy looked at all this and felt a sense of guilt in her heart.

It seems that Steven had tried his best to prepare for the wedding night, but she abandoned him and went to the hotel to find her ex-boyfriend, and even caused him to be fired by Joseph.

However, Steven didn't even say a word to blame her.

Daisy lowered her head, regretting in her heart.

At this time, the door was pushed open with a creak, and Steven strode in.

He had just taken a shower, his black hair was dripping with water, and he was wearing a pair of casual black trousers.

The clothes were cheap, but they couldn't dim the man's handsomeness at all. His handsome face is cold, and so is his temperament but his hormonal aura was intoxicating. The water droplets slip from his muscular body, making Daisy's heart beat wildly, just by looking at him.

Daisy only glanced at him and quickly lowered her head.

Even if he doesn't blame her, today is their wedding night, and she knows what will happen next without even thinking about it.

She bit her lip and mustered up the courage to whisper,"I'm sorry for what happen just now"

Steven said nothing and just picked up the towel to wipe his hair.

Daisy glanced at him and knew he was still angry.

"Actually, I'm going to get it..."

As she said this, she suddenly saw a trace of blood on Steven's palm, and her eyes widened.

A four- to five-centimeter wound was cut on his palm. The flesh was rolled and bleeding.

Daisy was stunned for a moment, and suddenly remembered that when Steven beat Joseph just now, his hand also hit the bedside table, and it was probably scratched at that time.

Seeing Steven holding a towel with his injured hand, blood oozing out from the wound, Daisy felt guilty and jumped out of bed quickly, "Let me wipe it for you..."

Before she finished speaking, Steven suddenly raised his hand and opened her arms, his voice cold.

"Don't touch it."

Daisy's hand stopped in mid-air.

She froze, then said hurriedly and attentively, "You must be hungry. How about I help you cook a bowl of noodles? I'm a good cook."

"Need not."

"I went to see Joseph just now because..."

"Miss, there is no need to report your matters to me."

The man's deep voice was cold and hard.

Daisy's heart sank and she lowered her eyelashes in discomfort.

The word "Miss" was cold and distant, and it was clear that he was deliberately trying to distance himself from her.

He did not regard her as his wife.

He thought she was dirty.

Steven finished wiping his hair and got ready to go to bed.

Daisy stood beside the bed, her chest felt as heavy as a big stone.

From the moment he entered the room until now, Steven has not looked at her directly, nor has he taken the initiative to say a word to her. He completely treats her as a transparent person.

Moreover, what made her most uncomfortable was that he would not listen to her explanation.

Seeing that Steven had a cold face and was about to lift the quilt to sleep, Daisy didn't know where she got the courage to raise her head and said, "Steven, I'm still clean."

After saying that, Steven raised his head and looked at her.

His eyes were dark and cold, and his gaze became extremely sharp, as if he could see through her at a glance.

Daisy mustered up the courage to look him in the eye.

After a few seconds, Steven raised the corners of his lips indifferently, "What exactly do you want to say."

Daisy mustered up her courage, "I'm going to find Joseph to get..."

Steven interrupted sarcastically, "Miss, I'm just a bodyguard with a low status. You don't need to explain so much to me. If you think I'm not worthy of you, you can divorce me and I'll sign."

Daisy shook her head quickly, "I never thought about it that way, I just..."

"Just what?" There was a bit of sarcasm in Steven's eyes, "Miss, do you think I can't satisfy you compared to your ex-boyfriend?"

The indifferent voice said harsh words, Daisy's slender fingers clenched tightly.

"Nothing happened between me and Joseph."

Steven said coldly, "Really? How to prove it?"

"I..."

Daisy bit her lip with her teeth, leaving a row of teeth marks.

She was indeed wrong tonight. She left her husband to find her ex-boyfriend. No matter how she explained it, Steven would not believe it.

She didn't want to be misunderstood, and she didn't want Steven to look down on her. If she didn't make it clear tonight, she would have no chance to explain in the future.

Thinking of this, Daisy took a deep breath and looked up.

"Steven, look at me."

Steven turned his head and frowned suddenly.

Daisy stood in front of him, her wedding dress sliding to the floor.

Under the dim light, the girl's cheeks were red and her long eyelashes were trembling fiercely, but her eyes were filled with determination and stubbornness, staring at him without flinching.

Steven was stunned for several seconds without regaining consciousness, and then he frowned.

Daisy blushed and said, "I didn't do anything."

His dark eyes moved slightly and he said coldly, "Miss, you don't have to be like this."

Daisy mustered up her courage and whispered again, "You, do you want to check again?"

Steven stopped talking and stared at her with his deep black eyes.

Daisy's ears turned red when he looked at her, and she couldn't help but say, "Don't keep looking at me."

"Didn't you ask me to look at you?" Steven said in a low voice, "If I don't look at you, do you want me to hug you?"

Daisy was speechless and too shy to even lift her head.

This was the first time she was so bold, and she was so nervous that her heart almost jumped out of her throat.
