Scene : The Master's Arrival
As they followed Li Wei, they finally came to the entrance of a large, imposing building. Li Wei's master, a tall, dignified figure, appeared from behind the doors, his presence commanding respect.
Li Wei:
"Master, these are my new friends—Mochen and Yue Ying. They could use some guidance."
Master: (smiling knowingly)
"I know them already."
Mochen and Yue Ying looked at each other in surprise.
Li Wei:
"You know them? How?"
Master: (laughing softly)
"I met them in the Mist Forest. They have a long road ahead of them."
Mochen and Yue Ying smiled at each other, sensing that their adventure was just beginning.
Master:
"So, Mochen, are you going to tell me everything now, or will you keep putting your hand over your sister's mouth?"
Mochen and Yue Ying both laughed, and for the first time in days, they felt a sense of peace.
The grand school gates stood tall before them, glowing under the golden sunlight. The air buzzed with excitement as students and their families gathered in the massive courtyard, waiting for the official announcement. A loud voice echoed through the entire school grounds from a magical announcement crystal.
Announcer:
"Attention, all new students! Please prepare to enter the school gates. All students must present their invitation cards for verification!"
Mochen and Yue Ying followed closely behind Master and Li Wei as they approached the entrance. Just as they were about to step inside, two guards blocked their path, their expressions stern.
Guard 1: (holding out his hand)
"Invitation cards, please."
Mochen & Yue Ying: (exchanging nervous glances)
"Uh… we don't have any…"
Guard 2: (raising an eyebrow)
"No invitation, no entry."
Just as tension built up, Master calmly reached into his robes and pulled out a glowing jade pendant. The guards' eyes widened instantly.
Guard 1: (bowing quickly)
"Apologies, Master. We didn't recognize you."
Guard 2: (stepping aside)
"Please, go right in."
Mochen and Yue Ying exchanged surprised glances as they followed Master inside the school grounds. The moment they stepped in, their eyes widened in wonder.
The school was enormous. Towering pagodas, massive training fields, shimmering lakes, and even floating platforms filled the area. Students in elegant robes trained with weapons, casting spells, or reading ancient texts under cherry blossom trees.
Yue Ying: (excited, touching everything)
"Mochen! Look at this! The walls are glowing! And the ground feels so smooth!"
Mochen: (grinning)
"Yue Ying, stop touching everything! People are staring…"
Master: (chuckling as he watches them in amusement)
"You two are like children in a candy shop. But we don't have time to waste—we need to get to the stadium for your level and power crystal check."
Yue Ying: (tilting her head)
"Power crystal check?"
Li Wei: (smirking)
"Yeah, it's the test that determines your abilities and ranking. If you have no powers, well… let's just say you won't have a fun time here."
Yue Ying and Mochen exchanged nervous glances as they hurried along, following Master toward the stadium.
