Basilisk: Known as the "King of Serpents," the Basilisk is a giant snake bred through dark magic. Its gaze can cause instant death or petrification. The most infamous Basilisk resided in Hogwarts' Chamber of Secrets, controlled by Salazar Slytherin's heir.

Hydra (Greek Mythology) – A multi-headed water serpent that regrows two heads for every one cut off.
Ashwinder: A thin, pale-grey serpent with glowing red eyes, the Ashwinder is born from the embers of magical fires left unattended. It lives for only an hour, during which it lays fiery eggs that can ignite if not frozen promptly.
Runespoor: A three-headed snake native to Africa, each head of the Runespoor serves a different function: one for planning, one for dreaming, and one for criticizing. Their eggs are used in potion-making.
Ophiryss - Original species, can obtain the powers of anything it devours
Ophidriel - Original species, rare and elusive water serpent
Regular Magic Serpent
Horned Serpent: A giant water-dwelling snake with a jewel-encrusted forehead. In North America, it's associated with Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where it's one of the house symbols.
Sea Serpent: Aquatic serpents found in various seas worldwide, including the Atlantic and Pacific. Despite their fearsome appearance, they are generally harmless to humans.
