I ensure Cassandra safely gets into Andrew's car before we discreetly head back to the mansion. The last thing I need is another kidnap story or scenario. Just like any wise predator, the prey must be in perfect shape before we pursue it. I'm by no means a gentleman; watching her get to safety is my own way of making sure she's in good condition. Because only I, Nikolai Volkov, am allowed to destroy her to ruins.
**A few hours later…**
The gate to the Volkov mansion automatically opens to welcome its owner. The driver and I step out of the car, while my maids and stewards receive me. At the end of the line is my assistant. He might be a fool sometimes, but he's the best I've got so far.
