"You look so beautiful, bunny," Nikolai said, his voice a smooth whisper as he helped Cassandra onto the yacht. She was struck by its opulence, the sheer grandeur of it taking her breath away.
"Does it meet your taste, bunny?" he asked, a casual smile playing on his lips as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Don't get too formal with me, Nikolai. This is business, and I don't joke about it," she sneered, but his eyes narrowed, a dangerous mix of amusement and obsession gleaming in them.
"Make no mistake, honey. I should be more sensitive about this than you. You're under my roof now. Don't act like I'm the one under yours."
Cassandra stormed off, her gaze shooting daggers at Nikolai, and disappeared to find a place to rest. Meanwhile, Nikolai returned to his room, swiftly locking the door behind him. He peeled off his nasal mask with a relieved sigh and took a deep breath, a contented smile spreading across his face.
