Lyra sat in her chambers, staring out the window at the dark and silent night. She had been training for months, and she was starting to feel a sense of unease. She knew that Zhrak was still out there, waiting for his chance to strike.
As she sat there, lost in thought, Lyra suddenly felt a presence in the room. She turned to see a shadowy figure standing in the corner, watching her.
Lyra's heart skipped a beat as she realized that the figure was Zhrak. She tried to scream, but her voice was frozen in her throat.
Zhrak stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "You think you can defeat me, Lyra?" he sneered. "You think you can stop me from claiming the tapestry?"
Lyra tried to stand up, but her legs were trembling with fear. She knew that she was no match for Zhrak, not yet.
But then, something inside of her clicked. She remembered the words of Arianna, and the training she had undergone. She remembered the power of the tapestry, and the magic that lay within her.
With newfound confidence, Lyra stood up and faced Zhrak. "I will stop you," she said, her voice firm and resolute. "I will not let you claim the tapestry."
Zhrak sneered again, but Lyra could see the faintest glimmer of uncertainty in his eyes. He knew that she was not the same person she had been before, that she had grown stronger and more powerful.
And with that knowledge, Lyra felt a sense of hope. She knew that she could defeat Zhrak, that she could stop him from claiming the tapestry.
But as she stood there, facing Zhrak, Lyra realized that she was not alone. Arianna was standing behind her, her eyes blazing with magic and power.
"Zhrak, you will not harm Lyra," Arianna said, her voice firm and commanding. "She is under my protection, and I will not let you touch her."
Zhrak's eyes narrowed, and he took a step back. He knew that he was no match for Arianna, not yet.
And with that, he vanished into the night, leaving Lyra and Arianna alone in the darkness.
Lyra turned to Arianna, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Arianna smiled, her eyes shining with warmth. "You are safe now, Lyra," she said. "But we must be vigilant. Zhrak will not give up easily, and we must be prepared to face him again."
