Chapter 64 - Chapter 64

Ross has been bored recently and has become addicted to watching TV.

A while ago, Luke was busy building a mecha. In order to stabilize this trouble-making guy, he ordered a digital TV for Rosss online.

Rosss has very diverse tastes and will watch anything that catches its attention. It especially enjoys watching alone with the remote control in the quiet of the night.

There is a wide variety of late-night shows in the United States, most of which are adult-themed.

When Ross saw a film about a tentacle monster soothing a young girl, it was shocked.

Ross had a confused expression: "There's such a thing?!"

The warehouse was pitch black, with no light to be seen.

Only from the TV in front of Ross could a series of strange "yayaya" sounds be heard from time to time.

Ross stared at the screen with great concentration.

Suddenly, it narrowed its eyes and pressed the remote control to mute the volume.

Ross raised its head, thought for a moment, and crawled over to the monitor where Christina was monitoring the outside world.

Staring at the image on the monitor that seemed unchanged, Ross remained silent.

The time on the monitor showed 2:16 AM on September 32, 2008.

Luke had gone back in the afternoon.

He had to go to school tomorrow and dress up as a child. He planned to come back in the afternoon to drive the mecha and then go directly to the exhibition in the evening.

At this time, Ross was the only one in the warehouse.

Oh, and Christina.

"Intruder detected." Christina said softly.

Ross snorted and said nothing.

"It's a little girl driven by curiosity." Christina smiled. "Should I inform the owner?"

When Ross heard it was a little girl, its eyes turned cunning, and it said, "Leave it to me."

"Okay."

Outside the warehouse, on a large tree across the street, Hawkeye's sharp eyes were locked on its prey like a falcon in the dark night.

A sneaky figure appeared outside the warehouse and jumped into his sight.

Hawkeye's eyes flickered: "Thief? Or..."

He had been in charge of "monitoring" the warehouse for almost two weeks. Every day was boring, but tonight something happened.

Hawkeye waited patiently, deciding to see what the other party would do.

If it was just a petty thief, he wouldn't mind helping Luke catch them. After all, Luke and S.H.I.E.L.D. were currently cooperating. He knew exactly what was in Luke's warehouse.

If it leaked out, it would be bad for both Luke and S.H.I.E.L.D.

It would be even more interesting if the other party was someone important, as it would be a good opportunity for him to stretch his muscles after these lazy days.

Hawkeye crouched quietly on the tree, holding a compound bow. Outside the warehouse, the slender figure that was walking and stopping was clearly visible to his abnormal eyesight.

"Is it a girl?" Hawkeye was slightly surprised.

A hooded figure dressed in black groped its way to the door of the warehouse.

Holding a shiny tablet in its hand, the figure fiddled with the warehouse door.

With a "click," the electronic lock inside the warehouse door opened easily.

"Coconut shreds." The figure whispered.

It tiptoed to open the door, stood on tiptoes, and carefully entered the warehouse.

"All clues point to this place. The sleeping incident in Queens, the network crash on the entire East Coast, the blackout in New York... This place seems to be the center... What secrets are hidden here?"

Strong curiosity prompted her to make this bold decision tonight.

The warehouse was still pitch dark.

There was a faint glimmer of light coming from the front.

The figure took out a portable flashlight and was about to turn it on when they suddenly froze and stopped where they were.

A chill that penetrated her bones suddenly swept towards her from the darkness!

The figure instantly dropped her hands in a daze.

Then, she stood there helplessly.

Skye found herself being dragged into an abnormal space.

In front of her, a giant octopus covered the sky and sun, waving countless ferocious tentacles covered with barbs, baring its teeth and claws. It was extremely terrifying. The giant octopus's green eyes were staring at her closely.

She wanted to scream but was horrified to find that she couldn't make a sound...

Luke received a report from Christina when he woke up the next morning.

"Someone broke into the warehouse last night?" Luke was a little surprised. "Was it someone from S.H.I.E.L.D.? It shouldn't be. There's no reason. Could it be Hydra?"

He thought about it for a while but still couldn't figure it out.

But after hearing that the intruder had been subdued by Ross, Luke didn't care. He decided to talk about it in the afternoon. First, he had to go to school.

After school in the afternoon, when Luke arrived at the warehouse, he found the girl, who had been mentally controlled by Ross, sitting obediently on a chair with lifeless eyes.

The girl was obviously of mixed Eastern and Western descent. She had long black wavy hair, big, bright eyes, and a straight nose. She was very beautiful. Her eyebrows were slightly furrowed at this moment. She was quite in line with Luke's aesthetic standards.

The girl looked very young, perhaps 20 years old at most.

Luke recognized who she was immediately.

He was surprised and said, "Wang Keying, that's not right. Daisy, that's not right either. She's still called Skye now. But why did she come to me?"

Knowing the identity of the intruder, Luke quickly guessed most of it.

Skye most likely found him through what happened a while ago, using her powerful hacking skills.

With Christina guarding here, it was impossible for her to locate the door directly. However, if someone was interested, they could still roughly guess the location by analyzing the data.

There is never a shortage of talented people in the Marvel world.

And Skye is undoubtedly one of the talented people who possess this ability.

Smart, with top hacking skills, and full of persistent curiosity about these strange things. This is Skye.

Looking at Skye, who was sitting there with lifeless eyes, Luke felt a little amused.

He didn't expect his first meeting with Skye to be in such a terrible situation.

"Hey, you didn't do anything to her, did you?"

Luke asked, glancing at Ross, who was dozing off to the side.

Ross hummed weakly in response.

Last night, it actually wanted to verify the skills it had just learned.

However, when it saw its eight short, weak tentacles that looked like meatballs...

It was deeply shocked. It remained silent for a night until now...

Luke drove the Tornado and carried Skye into the glass cell, then locked the door after coming out.

"Wake her up."

The next second, Skye recovered from her dazed state.

She had been imprisoned in Ross's spirit world all night.

From the initial fear and terror, to gradually realizing that there seemed to be no other danger except being trapped.

Later, she actually wanted to try to communicate with Ross.

Of course, Ross would not pay any attention to her. It was very sad.

The scene in front of her suddenly changed, and Skye found herself imprisoned.

She immediately stood up and patted the wall of the cell, only to find that it was tempered glass. Skye's heart sank immediately.

"Ahem." Luke's voice came through the speaker.

Skye turned around immediately and saw Luke. Her eyes widened immediately, her mouth opened slightly, and her expression was full of surprise.

Luke asked knowingly, "How did you get in?"

Skye opened her mouth for a long time, and suddenly became very excited. She said excitedly: "You! You are an apostle!"

"Oh? You know me?"

"Of course! I've collected your photos!"

Skye was shocked that she had found the apostle by accident!

Before she came, she had not expected this result. Wait, why is the apostle here?

Could it be... that he was the one who did those things...?

Skye's mouth dropped open again.

"Why are you collecting my photos?" Lying in the cockpit of the mecha, Luke's expression looked a little strange.

"I... I'm very curious. Can I interview you and ask you a few questions?" Skye asked with a bright smile.

She was a superhero fan, and the situation before her made her as curious as ten cats scratching at the same time. She had automatically ignored the fact that she was imprisoned.

"Are you a reporter?"

"No, I'm just a curious person."

"Oh, that's fine. I also have a few questions I want to ask you. But you have to wait until I get back," said Luke.

"Where are you going?" Skye asked.

Luke didn't answer. He drove the Tornado towards the G-0 War Lord.

Skye then noticed that this thing, which seemed like a steel wall, was actually... such a huge mecha!

She was shocked...

Under Skye's incredulous gaze, Luke drove the Tornado into the War Lord. The two merged magnificently into one.

When she saw the roof of the warehouse above her slowly open, Skye finally realized that the situation was not good.

She said quickly: "You can't imprison me here!"

The War Lord turned around, his eyes flickering: "I can."

"How long will you be gone?"

Luke didn't answer.

Skye thought quickly: "But, but, what should I do if I need to go to the toilet?"

Luke controlled the mecha and pointed at the floor of the cell, thinking that this was already available.

Skye noticed the empty basin on the ground.

"What is this?" she asked in amazement.

"Your special stainless steel basin."

"…"

Seeing that Luke no longer paid attention to her, Skye asked anxiously: "You should at least tell me where you are going?"

"Stay still. Christina, keep an eye on her," Luke said.

"Understood." A female voice sounded in the warehouse.

"Who's talking? Hey! Hey! Come back here!!"

The 6-meter-high giant mecha roared into the air, turned on optical invisibility before leaving the warehouse, and then disappeared into the sky.

Justin Hammer Fireworks Fair, opening tonight...
