Like the cloudy mist of dawn which dissipates in the presence of the warm rays of the morning sun.
Oneiros' rancorous voice faded away from everyone's hearing, to become exiled into the masking lands of obscurity.
Trick watched as his voice resounded till it became as inaudible as a hushed whisper, until it completely disappeared, being estranged from their hearing entirely.
In truth, the seemingly garrulous Void beast had finished his scornful speeches, his next move being just a thought to be pondered in the deductive board of Trick's mind.
However, right now…
Trick had more important things to do.
"MASTER!" Trick yelled at the top of his lungs as he waved at Astarvan from the covering of Athan's protective barrier.
"Ugh." Athan jolted a little, opening his eyes to meet a large pair of flickering crimson eyes that gleamed in unbridled exuberance to meet his beloved master.
Trick gave the bunny a pleading look, peering into the very depths of Athan's soul in supplications for him to release his barrier which placed an obstructive edge from him meeting with his master.
"Humph." Athan let out a weary sigh, folding his arms as he let the barrier wane into vestiges of purple essence that wilted into the air.
"Fine, do whatever you want Kid—"
WHOOSH!
Like a flash of bolting lightning, Trick became a blur, dashing hastily towards Astarvan, his blitzing motion spreading a small gust of wind that billowed over Athan, to throw the bunny's scarf over his head.
"That kid." The mysterious bunny blew a little breeze of air, sending his scarf back in the appropriate position around his neck, as he watched Trick travel towards Astravan, who seemed to be fully immersed in a crowd of troubling thoughts.
"Now, next I should—"
"MASTER!.." Trick yelled at his master, interrupting him abruptly and rousing him from his drowning thoughts of planning.
"That was super cool!" Astarvan flinched a little as he escaped his endless musings, watching the ecstatic beam Trick currently wore on his face.
As though reflecting off the child's gleeful face, a grin equal in mirth, spread through the lips of the Machiavellian Trickster as he rang a hearty laugh into the air.
"Hahahaha!" Astarvan instantaneously let go of his prime thoughts, beginning a mindless chat with Trick.
As the two always did.
"Forever remember the number one rule of every Trickster, Kiddo—"
Astarvan brought his suit behind him, letting its dark purple ends flow in the slight winds occupying the halls as his head remained elevated upwards, his right arm tightly clenching his large otherworldly top hat to strike in all its splendor…
A super dynamic pose.
"ALWAYS LOOK COOL!" A smirk fueled with a burning feeling of elation spread through Astarvan's lips as he held his radiantly illustrious pose for a full minute.
Trick gasped in excitement as he watched his master strike the legendary stance for a whopping 60 seconds, without even the slightest shiver acting on his legs.
"Yes…yes sir!" Trick rose his left arm above his head, meticulously standing at attention with his hand saluted against Astravan.
"That's my boy!" Astravan descended his wide palm onto Trick's head, ruffling his golden blonde hair playfully.
Athan then floated in their direction, meeting both Trick and Astarvan chuckling hysterically, as Astarvan patted against Trick's head.
'Honestly these two.' Athan's eyes creased in slight irritation as he watched them laugh frenziedly amidst the calamitous conflict yet to be abated.
'What are they even laughing so madly about?' Athan remained in their presence, the two laughing Tricksters remaining engrossed in their conversation as though ignorant of his sudden arrival.
"I swear, these guys piss me off sometimes, especially that darn kid."
A slight smile then formed across the mysterious bunny's lips as he watched the beaming looks, etched across both their faces.
'But I guess being pissed is better off...' Athan couldn't help but embrace the soothing smile that held onto his lips in mirth, succumbing to make out a pleased grin.
'Than being lonely."
"Am I right?..."
"Decive?" Athanasios reminisced about an old friend, whose heroic deeds and world liberating actions had long been forgotten by time, buried in the historical grave of ages past.
But just as quickly as his smile came trickling into his face, a slight feeling of realization hit him as he now watched where Astravan stood.
Something was definitely wrong.
'Tch, that sly bastard.' Athan cursed as he observed the ground once more.
His intuition was correct.
He then shut his eyes momentarily, opening them as he let out a calming breath.
"Astra..." Athan voiced out to the laughing Trickster's hearing.
"Ohh, Athan when did you get here?!" Astarvan teasingly asked in pretense, finally turning his attention to Athan who remained hovering in the air before them for quite some time.
"Don't act dumb, I know you could sense my presence all along." The perceptive bunny replied, referring to how Astraven continued to laugh madly along with Trick, paying his attention no mind.
Astarvan then replied once more with a bellowing chuckle, smacking Athan against his back as he quivered with his joyous laughs.
But as the Trickster opened up his eyes from his heartfelt chuckles, what he met was an austere look of seriousness, pasted on Athan's face.
Astarvan then cut his laughs short, he too, adopting a serious demeanor as he stared at Athan with a burn of seriousness blazing through his purple eyes.
Trick on the other hand stood in the middle of both Athan and his master, neither of them letting any emotion get through their unsmiling faces.
'What's going on?' Trick asked, perplexed as he observed the chilling scene before him.
Astarvan then opened up his lips, voicing out one single question.
"Bud, what's up?"
Athan stared at Astarvan for a moment, turning his attention to the large crater that stood behind the showman, before retracing his eyes and locking them back at Astravan.
"Astra—" Athan's voice deepened as his eyes laid firmly locked against Astravan's unshaking gaze.
"Where is he?"
