Before Kai knew it He had also fell asleep due to accumulation of fatigue

Alice patted Kai on the head
"I have reached the level requirement for Diamond Rank now I only need more blessings"
Kai was so shocked his mouth was wide open

Alice got up and looked at the morning sky
"We should start moving soon.... So many days Passed in that hellish cave yet not a single day passed here"

"Where are we going?"

"To the nearest Duskborne"
Kai confused asked
"What is a Duskborne?"
Alice raised an eyebrow and asked
"You dont know a Duskborne?"

Alice sighed and said
"Duskborne is a place where other monster hunters live and get jobs from like a guild you would use to see in video games"
Kai tilted his head and asked
"Where is the nearest Duskborne?"
Alice said
"It will take 2 weeks by horse"
Kai said
"2 weeks? Is it that far?"
Alice shrugegd and said
"Nothing we can do can we?"
Kai said
"Then when will we depart again?"
Alice thought for a while then replied
"Tomorrow."
Kai got up and stretched
"I am craving some food.... All we had were wolf meat for 3 months"
Alice said
"Sure I packed some bread and other food on the horse"
After having some food kai thought
"Hey RON you there??"
RON said
"Yeah you need something? Oh wait I forgot But I wont be able to talk to you The Other gods are nearing where I am so A fight will break out"
Kai thought
"How long will I not be able to talk to you?"
Ron replied
"About a Month. I hope you get stronger when I return I cant stay any longer stay safe okay?"
kai said
"So soon? Ok I will just return after this is over"
Alice said
"Hey why are you so silent?"

"O-oh huh? Oh yea I think we should set off now who knows what awaits us we are only delaying our departure"

Soon Alice untied the horse
The horse being a silver color one It stood high and mighty

Soon they left heading towards the duskborne
After 3 weeks past by the group being delayed by sudden storm
They arrived at a ruined down city
"This is a Duskborne? My village looked better" Said Kai
Alice replied
"Nope. we are almost there but not yet"
Kai nodded and followed Alice
They arrive in front of A Giant metal gate leading underground
"Woahh Whats this Alice?" Kai asked
"This is the entrance of the Duskborne" Alice replied with a smug face
Alice put her hand forward
"Alice Silheart From Clan SilverSwords"
The gate opened there being atleast 40 more metal doors behind them each 1 foot thick
"S-So Many gates" Kai said in a shocked voice
Soon a hallway was lit up there being nothing but a design or pattern of some sort in the middle
"Ever seen this?"Alice asked kai
"Nope not at all" kai replied
Alice sighed and said
"its a teleportation circle"
Kai said
"A magic circle I learned about those from books but this is my first time seeing one"
Alice said
"The books are different from reality. Lets go"
Both of them step on the magic circle
The gates start to close and a beam of light fills the small room
Soon Kai finds himself falling from the sky

Then he hears a noise
He blinks and finds himself standing in a room covered with metal this time it has a small window on the right wall
Alice shakes kai

"Y-Yeah"kai said in a low voice
Soon a door opens and two person covered with heavy armour comes
A woman and a man
The man screams
"STATE YOUR NAME CLAN AND REASON OF ENTER"
Alice replies
"Alice Silheart. SilverSwords, We come here to seek refuge for a few days"
The woman kneels down and says
"I greet the demon bride"
Alice says in an angry voice
"DONT CALL ME THAT"
The man asks
"Who is this man?"
Kai says
"Kai vren"
The man raises an eyebrow
"kai? never heard of you which clan are you from?"
Kai looks at alice
Alice sighs and says
"This man is with me. A survivor from the mountain outpass.... The entire village was destroyed by monsters"
The man says
"I-I am sorry...."
Kai's heart drops hearing that
The man asks
"Young miss what clan does he belong to?"

"he doesnt belong to any. He doesnt even know much about monster hunters and clans"
The woman says
"Enjoy the stay you are good to go. Just keep the boy out of trouble and make him sign up in the guild"
They leave through the door
