Chapter 3 - Facing the Challenge

The days at the dojo passed quickly. Xiao Shao became more and more immersed in the world of martial arts training full of discipline and challenges. Every morning, he woke up before sunrise and rushed to the dojo. Every night, he returned to his apartment with a tired body, but his heart was full of satisfaction.

Basic training was still the main routine, although Master Wu had started to teach him some advanced techniques. Xiao Shao felt significant improvements in his body. His muscles were getting stronger, his reflexes were faster, and his endurance had surpassed the limits he had previously thought were unreachable.

However, even though his physique was getting stronger, there was one thing that still felt lacking. Xiao Shao knew that to truly become the strongest, he had to dig deeper. Not just physical strength, but mental and spiritual strength. He had to find a balance between the two, in order to reach the full potential hidden within him.

One afternoon, after training was over, Xiao Shao sat in the park near the dojo, contemplating. The silence of the night began to cover the city, and a gentle breeze brushed against his face. He closed his eyes and tried to feel the energy around him, even though he knew that this world did not have qi or spiritual energy as he had previously imagined.

However, even without qi, the human body itself was a source of strength. A clear mind and a strong heart could take one further than one could imagine.

"If this world does not give me strength, I will achieve it with my own hands," Xiao Shao muttered, his determination growing stronger.

Xiao Shao's physical and mental training became more intense. He began to apply the breathing techniques he had learned from various books and videos, slowing his breath to calm his mind, and then trying to direct that strength into every movement of his body. He began to feel the changes—his movements became more efficient, calmer, but also more powerful.

However, the biggest challenge came when Master Wu announced a competition between dojos that would be held in the near future. This competition was not just for training, but to see how far his disciples' abilities had progressed.

"You will all compete against other dojos. This is a chance to test how far you have progressed," Master Wu said to his disciples.

Xiao Shao felt a fire burning inside him. This was a chance to prove that all his training had not been in vain. Although he had only been learning martial arts for a short time, he was confident that the strength he had built up could make a difference.

On the day of the competition, Xiao Shao stood on the arena. The sun was setting behind the tall buildings, and the crowd was growing. The dojo they were competing with looked like a more experienced training ground, with fighters who looked more experienced.

However, Xiao Shao was not afraid. He knew that his strength did not come from experience or technique alone, but from an unwavering determination. He wanted to prove that even though he was starting from scratch, he could defeat anyone who came his way.

The competition began. Xiao Shao stepped forward to the center of the arena, his eyes focused on his first opponent. A tall, muscular man dressed in black. His opponent looked confident, perhaps due to his greater experience.

But Xiao Shao was undeterred. He remembered what Master Wu had always taught him—discipline, patience, and composure. When his opponent launched the first attack, Xiao Shao was ready. He dodged nimbly, his movements as fluid as flowing water, and immediately retaliated with a precise punch that landed on his opponent's body.

The fight continued quickly, each trying to dominate the other. However, Xiao Shao became more and more comfortable with each move he made. He could read his opponent's attack patterns, and his body moved perfectly to the rhythm of the fight.

Finally, with a hard kick, Xiao Shao managed to knock his opponent to the ground. The audience was silent for a moment, then thunderous applause echoed throughout the arena. Xiao Shao stood up straight, his breathing steady, but there was a sense of relief in his heart.

He knew that this was just the beginning. This was only the first round of the competition, and even greater challenges awaited him. But one thing was for sure—he would not stop until he reached the top.

The night after the match, Xiao Shao sat in his apartment, thinking about what he had achieved. He had defeated one opponent, but that feeling was still not enough. He knew that this world would not give him anything easily. Every victory brought new challenges, and to become the strongest, he had to continue to train relentlessly.

"One small step towards a big goal," he thought, looking up at the night sky full of stars ntang.

star. With a stronger determination, Xiao Shao vowed to never stop. He would continue to grow, find new limits within himself, and finally reach the peak he had always dreamed of.
