It was another day, a brand new day for Vynn Wiccaspell...
He got off his bed, and wanted to get ready for the new day.
He fixed his bed, straightened his hair, then he wore his hat, coat and his snazzy shades.
"Let's see what the world has for me today..." Vynn said.
He exited his quarters, he walked along the hallway, wondering what he had to do for the day.
As he was walking down the hallway, he accidentally bumped into two people in front of him as he was making his way.
"Ow- learn to look before you move, filthy mongrel..." Ryujin said.
"Who are you calling mongrel?!" Vynn shouted angrily.
"You're talking back in front of my face...how dare you!" Ryujin replied, slapping Vynn's face.
"Jeez, it's too early in the morning for some chaos, so I suggest you two stop before things get messy..." Skullspawn said, his tone of voice was serious as if he was having a bad day.
"Hmph, fine...you're lucky I didn't get to kill you yet...I wouldn't have held back my power if it weren't for Skullspawn's interference..." Ryujin scoffed and walked away, feeling annoyed.
"I didn't know that you would still care about me, Skullspawn..." Vynn chuckled, he crossed his arms and leaned by the wall.
"Don't mention it Vynn...although it doesn't mean we're back to buddies instantly..." Skullspawn sighed, he looked up at the ceiling, holding his head.
"I mean, look what you did, you nearly became a fugitive, a wanted man by the kingdom of Elderith for nearly killing King Creo Creatorius, were you out of your damn mind?!" Skullspawn said angrily, his voice was full with rage and punching the wall.
"I mean I know what I did was reckless but I was looking for a challenge..." Vynn said aloof as he was trying to talk his way out of Skullspawn's immense anger.
"Looking for a challenge?! Do you think that you can just go anywhere in the world, taking away other people's lives without suffering consequences?!" Skullspawn exclaimed, his head was filled with stress and anger, he felt like he couldn't contain it anymore.
After a while, Skullspawn sighed.
"I don't have time to waste for someone like you. Just know that you must take responsibility in every single action you make...that's the only advice I can ever give you..." Skullspawn said, walking towards him and placing his hand on his shoulder before walking away, trying to regain his composure.
Vynn was frozen, he stood still, he felt affected by Skullspawn's words, feeling like every single thing he did was a wrong thing.
"I've never seen him that angry before..." Vynn said, his body shooked and he could barely move.
"Not to mention, what was that pressure coming out of him?" Vynn wondered, as he turned and walked around the hallway.
Skullspawn entered inside his room where he is met by Ryujin, sitting down, he felt laid back and filled with boredom.
"Hmmm, I suggest you're feeling bored...Ryujin..." Skullspawn sighed, sitting down on the opposite chair.
"I wanted to try and see if that mongrel was worth my time but you interfered...ruining the whole fun of it..." Ryujin scoffed, rolling his eyes and sipping wine.
"Well...we can arrange that..." Skullspawn smirked.
"What do you mean by that?" Ryujin said, putting down his glass of wine curious what Skullspawn has to say.
"I have been practicing this new ability for a couple of weeks now...although it would require lots of mana reserves for me to make it fully work..." Skullspawn replied, crossing his arms and smiling.
"So what's your plan?" Ryujin said, listening to every single detail of what Skullspawn has to say.
"I had this idea where I have to use my time magic and make us travel back into different time periods where we don't have to hold back our power..." Skullspawn chuckled.
"Skullspawn...you're an absolute maniac...that is such an extravagant plan..." Ryujin chuckled, feeling happy that he will be able to fight Vynn Wiccaspell.
"We'll begin this tomorrow and I'm thinking...we assign each other...in different time periods..." Skullspawn replied, excited everything is going into motion.
"So anyways, if that's the case transport me to somewhere where I have absolute power!" Ryujin exclaimed, feeling excited about the numerous possibilities.
"And make Elexer as my assistant..." Ryujin scoffed.
"Listen up here gentlemen, I don't know what you guys just agreed to but I will not become his personal hunting dog Skullspawn!" Elexer exclaimed, he held his scythe firmly, with a noticeable killer gaze.
"I know that you feel infuriated whenever he tries to discriminate you but I assure you that you two must cooperate as you two have a simple mission..." Skullspawn said, laying back at his chair.
"Make sure that Vynn's journey becomes a living hell..." Skullspawn smirked.
"You got yourself a deal Skullspawn..."Ryujin and Elexer said in unison.
*Later that day*
Skullspawn, Emile Locke, Ryujin and Elexer all gathered together inside Skull's room to begin the process.
"Alright everyone, I'm glad you're able to make it, now this process might make you feel nauseated considering that time travel is quite a complex system..." Skullspawn said to the rest of them, taking command of the entire situation.
"Another thing is that...I've put a hidden seal on Vynn that connects him to the time portal with us when I put my hand over his shoulder." Skullspawn chuckled, feeling amused.
"What a truly vile plan..." Ryujin smirked.
"Just know that the rest of us will be separated from one another...and if anyone of us dies...I will be the first to detect it..." Skullspawn continued.
"I bet it's going to be Elexer..." Ryujin scoffed, teasing Elexer much to Skullspawn's annoyance.
"Why you little-" Elexer said, trying to attack Ryujin before being cut off.
"Enough, the process is about to begin..." Skullspawn said.
The room started to fill with bright blue light, all of them felt like their bodies were fading away, as they scattered into the timeline like ashes.
Vynn who was chilling in his room, felt that he was also fading away as well.
"Hey what the hell is happening..." Vynn said, before fading away and entering the timeline.
All of them immediately get transported to different time periods, perfectly as Skullspawn planned.
The time was during the Roman Empire period, the time was 11:17 in the morning, everything was doing well until Vynn comes down, crashing from the sky.
"Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!" Vynn shouted to the tip of his lungs.
Vynn grabbed his sword mid-air and used it as a way to break his fall as he landed in the bushes
"Owwww, once again that hurts my back...why do I always get transported and come down falling from the sky..." Vynn said, slowly rising up, holding his back.
"Can't I get a retirement break?" Vynn said as he walked slowly, trying to figure out where he is.
Vynn noticed a large group of people were walking down the pathways, leading to a giant kingdom up ahead.
"I wonder what's that all about." Vynn wondered, he decided to walk closer for further details.
He grouped along with the other people and decided to ask one of them.
"Excuse me for the disturbance but where are you all heading?" Vynn asked, waiting for their response.
"Uh...how do I explain this...well we're actually slave workers that are about to be auctioned in the Roman Empire..." The man hesitatingly replied to Vynn.
"Slave worker? Roman Empire?" Vynn said, he slowly started backing away.
"No I can't believe this, this isn't real...but more importantly...how in God's green earth did I get into this situation?!!!" Vynn exclaimed in frustration.
Meanwhile inside of an elaborate, gigantic and extravagant castle, there resides the timeline's emperor of the Roman Empire, sitting on his throne.
"Fufufufu...honestly I'm too touched for being given such absolute power..." The emperor chuckled, sipping his wine.
"Honestly, I can't believe that you would be given such power...just to exploit this kingdom's vast resources..." A voice called out.
The person had a mask, he wore a hood over his head, equipped with two sickles, his tone was serious and commanding.
"Hmph...I almost forgotten that you were assigned with me in this time period..." The emperor sighed, placing down his wine.
The hooded man was none other than the assassin...Elexer.
"You're full of talk to utter such bitter words towards me...Ryujin!"
Elexer said.
"Hohoho...don't be too jealous...but then again, I have just enough power to take you on..." Ryujin replied threateningly.
"But alas, given that we have been sent here in this time period in accordance to Skullspawn's orders, as we have to center the attention of our anger towards the target..." Ryujin sighed.
"Vynn Wiccaspell..." Elexer replied.
Vynn entered inside of this kingdom, as his eyes were bedazzled by the architecture of Rome.
As he was roaming around Rome, a group of Roman soldiers were scouting around the area and when they saw him, they immediately walked towards him.
"Hey you!" The Roman soldier shouted.
"Yes, what do you request from me?" Vynn asked.
"Come with us now!" The Roman captain taunted.
"Sorry but the answer is no..." Vynn replied, drawing out his blade.
The Roman soldiers began to move themselves in a defensive position as Vynn started to attack towards all of them but Vynn manages to defeat them effortlessly and started to ran.
"Damn...he's a good fighter..." Elexer chuckled, impressed by Vynn's skills.
"Grrrrrrrrr...if those mongrels can't capture him then I'll do it myself..." Ryujin said before teleporting out of his castle.
"I mean I could catch him, but since he already made his action...I'm just gonna help when he's about to lose..." Elexer sighs and sits down on the chair.
Vynn eventually stopped at a secluded area, thinking he was safe from the Roman soldiers until he turned around and saw Ryujin behind him.
"It's you again!" Vynn exclaimed, pointing his sword at him.
"Ah so you're here also, filthy mongrel..." Ryujin taunted before spitting his saliva on the ground.
"I don't know what the hell is going on...but I'm going to stop this madness..." Vynn exclaimed as he started to swing his sword at Ryujin
Ryujin softly chuckled and immediately dodged the attack without breaking a sweat.
Ryujin grabbed his sword and as he swung his sword, it released out purple lightning that scattered around the area.
Vynn attempted to dodge the lightning attacks but then Ryujin swiftly attacked, his eyes are filled with murderous intent as he powers up his sword.
"This is where this battle ends." Ryujin said, as he was gripping firmly to his sword
"Not good...I've got to deflect it..." Vynn said, as he was put into a defensive position.
"Simulacrum...Overload..." Ryujin chanted, the area was filled with mana as his sword was fueled with the high amount of mana, he swung his sword at Vynn Wiccaspell.
Vynn was knocked aback as the impact of the Simulacrum Overload had knocked him unconscious.
"Hmph, I must say you're quite durable than I thought..." Ryujin chuckled, feeling slightly impressed.
"If it was any other regular mongrel, they would have turned into dust...now I see why Skullspawn is having difficulties with handling you..." Ryujin sighed.
Then came the Roman soldiers as they overheard the attack that Ryujin inflicted upon Vynn.
"Emperor, we are here now..." The Roman Captain sighed, trying to catch his breath.
"Took you lot longer than expected...no matter...I'll deal with your disgraceful performance later...for now take this man in the dungeons along with the rest of the other mongrels..." Ryujin scoffed, rolling his eyes.
*Meanwhile back in the castle*
"So how did it go?" Elexer said.
"It felt like I was just disposing of trash..." Ryujin sighed, sitting down on his throne.
"Well I'll be leaving you to go do your brooding as I have other things to do..." Elexer replied, walking away, leaving the room.
"Hmph, that mongrel sure is an interesting case..." Ryujin said.
"Hey there...you better not be thinking of other women behind my back..." A voice called out.
In front of Ryujin was a beautiful Roman woman, with golden earrings, as she wore an elegant robe, with nicely tied blonde hair, her eyes are crystal blue, she approached him with a serious look on her face.
"I assure you that I will not commit an act of infidelity behind your back, my beloved Luna..." Ryujin smirked, admiring her beauty from head to toe.
"Oh really, that better not be a lie on my face, Cornelius?" Luna replied, crossing her arms.
"I promise you that I'm not thinking of any other woman..." Ryujin replied.
"Now come on, my patience is waning..." Ryujin said as he slowly approached Luna.
Luna softly chuckled at him, touching his neck.
"Ok, let's do it then..." Luna softly smiled.
*Meanwhile down in the dungeon*
The Roman soldiers dragged Vynn down Ryujin's dungeon.
On every corner, a violation of a human's right can be seen as Roman soldiers torture their prisoners, some are executed and others are left for dead.
"This should be a good spot to leave the man..." The Roman soldier said, tossing him inside the cell.
"Enjoy your time here and contemplate about fighting against the mighty works of our Emperor Cornelius!" The Roman soldier scoffed.
"Ah poor guy...he's here with the rest of us..." A voice called out.
"He seems like a foreigner and not a Roman like the rest of us..." Another voice replied.
"Well at least he doesn't look like an oppressor like you lot..." A third voice responded.
"But we can all agree on one thing...and that he is indeed different from the rest of us..." The voices said.
"He might be the one to lead us into our salvation and overthrow that man..." They all said in unison.
After a few minutes, Vynn suddenly woke up and shocked at his current situation.
"Where am I and who are you lot?" Vynn asked, still confused about what happened.
"Well you're down here in the dungeon serving as prisoners like the rest of us because of that overarching...tyrannical Cornelius..." One of them replied.
"Cornelius...so that's what he's calling himself here..." Vynn mumbled to himself.
"Anyways what's the name of you lot?" Vynn asked.
"Well starting off, the name is Gaius Julius Caesar, I am the kingdom's greatest general..." Julius Caesar stated.
"I am the hero Spartacus!" Spartacus exclaimed.
"I am Emperor Nero Claudius!" Nero said enthusiastically.
"And I! I am Hannibal Barca..." Hannibal said , extending his hand.
"Damn...I feel like this is a dream cause there's no way these guys can coexist in this timeline?!" Vynn said to himself.
"So I see that you guys are prisoners of that bastard?" Vynn sighed.
"Indeed you are correct, he appears as a noble figure to the public..." Nero replied.
"But deep down that persona...he is nothing more than a vile man..." Nero said, feeling disgusted to even talk more about him.
"Let's just say his beliefs are so sickening, you could almost say he is trying to play like a god..." Julius Caesar said.
"How so?" Vynn asked.
"He loves torturing people, he has no regards about slavery and instead invests upon it, and those slaves aren't only men, even women and children are involved in this situation..." Julius Caesar continued.
"His actions make my heart feel broken!!!" Spartacus shouted.
"Indeed I feel you, for this very same man we hate is truly..." Hannibal said.
"A man who believes in no rights!" Hannibal said, putting his fist down on the ground.
Ryujin and Luna relaxed in their bedroom in the palace whilst Elexer was watching from the outside of the castle.
"Hmph, you truly are a narcissistic individual Emperor Cornelius...no...you are an insane man...Ryujin..." Elexer said, walking down the road of the kingdom.
"Indeed you are right with that..." Skullspawn said, appearing behind Elexer.
"Ah, I'm impressed that you're able to exist in this time period and also exist in the time period you are currently reside, Skullspawn..." Elexer softly chuckled.
"Don't flatter me, I'm using mana in order for me to at least check up on all of you, what's the status of Vynn Wiccaspell?" Skullspawn asked.
"I was told by Ryujin that he dealt with the poor man...he's in the dungeon right now, along with the other prisoners..." Elexer sighed.
"Interesting, but that won't be enough to hold him..." Skullspawn remarked.
"Point made, but I'm sure me and Ryujin can handle him..." Elexer replied.
"Well if Ryujin lost, I'm going to make a counter measure and transport you before this altered Roman Empire period gets erased..." Skullspawn said.
"You're too kind, Skullspawn..." Elexer said.
"It's not that I'm underestimating you guys, but rather I know it because I witnessed those things before hand..." Skullspawn said, before disappearing.
"Noted...I guess..." Elexer said awkwardly, he walked away, shrugging it off.
Ryujin got up from his bed, after he put Luna to rest, he walked to the balcony of his castle and let out a smirk.
"It truly feels like I've been blessed..." Ryujin said to himself.
"I've been given absolute powers I have power over mongrels, got a beautiful bitch and my own personal toy to play with in my free time..." Ryujin continued.
"It makes my heart burst for I have truly achieved my highest peak!" Ryujin exclaimed.
"Let those mongrels suffer, but for me I will live eternally, as this kingdom's emperor, no as their new god!" Ryujin exclaimed, bursting with laughter as he couldn't contain his joy any longer.
All he could do was laugh and feel nothing else but accomplished for his role in the new timeline.
Now only time will tell what Vynn Wiccaspell will do, will he be able to escape along with the imprisoned Roman heroes or will they die and suffer at the hands of the tyrannical, despotic hand of Ryujin.
