Synopsis

Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Blind Master's Resolve

In the wastelands of South America, The sun was setting, but not in the way it should.

It wasn't a warm farewell to the day, nor a gentle descent into night. The sky bled orange and red, the light twisting as if the heavens themselves were being devoured. Shadows stretched unnaturally long across inside the cracked earth, swallowed up by the approaching horror seeds.

The mechanical roar of the Shadow Border-a battered but determined transport-tore through the desolate landscape, kicking up dust in its desperate escape. Inside, the remnants of Novum Chaldea fought against both their exhaustion and the impossible reality of their situation.

They were running. Running from ORT, the ultimate lifeform. An alien horror that had already consumed everything they threw at it. Heroes, kings, monsters, gods-none had stood against it and survived. the colossal figure of ORT loomed in the distance. The alien horror moved with slow, deliberate purpose, its form distorting the very fabric of reality. Every step it took sent tremors through the land.

Even as the odds stacked against them, as Servants were torn apart and erased from existence, as hope frayed into nothing, they fought.

Inside the van, tension strangled the air. No one spoke at first-not because they had nothing to say, but because they had no words that could make things better.

Then, Da Vinci broke the silence

"ORT is on the move again! It's still heading for Mexico City!" Da Vinci's voice was tense, her usually bright demeanor hardened by the weight of the situation.

Goredolf gritted his teeth, hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles turned white. He had never driven this fast in his life. Never needed to.

"Dammit, the odds are already stacked against us!" he spat. "We won't stand a chance if it absorbs the sun, too!"

The van hit a bump, and for a second, everyone was jolted. But no one panicked. They had no energy left for that. Only determination.

"We have to stop it from reaching Mexico City, no matter wha—No, I think our only choice here is to change our strategy and make a hasty exi" "

A calm yet weary voice cut him off.

"We can't stop here."

The van was silent for a moment.

Goredolf turned his head slightly, glancing at the back seat.

The voice belonged to Ritsuka Fujimaru, the Last Master of Humanity.

His black sunglasses hid the truth from the world—the reality that he would never see the sunset in Frist place . A simple white cane rested against his side, his lifeline in the darkness. And next to him, his only unwavering companion, a German Shepherd named Jerry, sat stiffly. The dog's ears were perked, her golden eyes filled with worry for her master. Ritsuka expression unreadable behind dark sunglasses. His posture was rigid-too stiff, too unnatural for someone who was supposed to be exhausted.

She barked twice, a sharp, reprimanding sound.

Scolding him.

"No, Jerry, I can't stop now." Ritsuka muttered, gently stroking the dog's head and grab his cane.

"Ritsuka," a voice spoke softly.

A hand rested gently on his shoulder-warm, familiar.

Caster Artoria Avalon.

Artoria Caster's voice was soft, gentle, almost lovely. She called him Not as"Master." Not "Fujimaru." Just Ritsuka. The name of someone dear to her.

"Please… You shouldn't stress yourself."

But he shook his head, his grip on his cane tightening.

Ritsuka let out a slow breath

"Kiyohime, Ereshkigal, Saber Artoria. Medusa, Rama, Astolfo, Emiya,…" His voice trembled with each name.

"All of my Servants were devoured by ORT."

The weight of their losses hung heavy in the air.

"I won't stop now. No matter what."

For a brief moment, Goredolf looked at him through the rearview mirror.

And for the first time…

He saw it.

Even without sight, Ritsuka's stare was unshakable.

The most intense look Goredolf had ever seen.

"Grr… Damn it, say something, somebody! Technical Advisor! Servants! Anything!"

Then

"Husband," a regal voice cut through the air.

Morgan.

She sat beside him, her glacial blue eyes meeting his hidden ones. Even blind, he could feel her gaze, as cold and sharp as a blade.

"… It's true. We can't deny the impossible." her tone fierce, yet unwavering in its loyalty.

"Which is why we're going to follow that Dumuzid's advice and keep attacking."

Da Vinci nodded in agreement. "Exactly. Fujimaru, keep up the remote summons from here, But you must take a five-minute break every half hour! Got it?. "

"Understood."

"Gordy, maintain a two-kilometer distance from ORT at all times!"

"Nobunaga, Kadoc, man the machine gun and shoot down any of those damn seeds that try to follow us!"

Nobunaga (Avenger) let out a sharp laugh.

"Hahaha! If I let this go down, I won't be able to show my face to Okita!"

Kadoc, still loading the ammo, exhaled.

"Even if we can't stop ORT from reaching Mexico City… we have to hit it as hard as we can. Not just for combat data, but to increase our chances of victory. Even if only a little."

Mash and Nobunaga nodded in silent agreement.

"Grrr, I swear, I'm surrounded by idiots!" Goredolf growled, his grip on the wheel tightening. "Only Jerry is sensible here! Jerry, keep a eye on that reckless master"

The dog let out a single huff, as if acknowledging the order.

"All right then! Take your motion sickness pills while you still can! And you—" Goredolf shot a look at the dinosaur, "Tepeu! The seat belts won't fit you, so grab a railing!"

Tepeu blinked. "Of course. I hope to stay with you all for as long as I possibly can.

Ritsuka felt His body was giving out.

"Husband, please rest now." Morgan had pulled him against her shoulder, allowing him to rest against her.

A long pause.

Then-

"...All right."

His head tilted slightly, resting against Morgan's shoulder.

Beside him, Artoria Avalon quietly pulled his seatbelt across his chest.

"I'll keep watch." She whispered.

His fingers trembled.

"All right…"

He closed his eyes.

And in the darkness Which his Original World, he felt it again.

The pain.

Every Servant he had lost.

Every moment they were erased, their existence devoured by ORT. The pain lashed through his body like fire, an unbearable backlash -a punishment for daring to summon warriors that reality itself refused to acknowledge anymore..

But he never told anyone.

Not Mash.

Not Morgan.

Not Da Vinci.

Not even Jerry.

Because it wouldn't change anything.

Because he could no longer afford to be weak.

Because he had already lost too much.

'I will defeat ORT.'

It was the only thought left in his mind.

He didn't care how many times he was burned.

He didn't care how many times he was crushed.

He didn't care if he lost his blood.

Even if his body shattered—

Even if his soul faded away into nothingness—

He would not stop.

He had long since abandoned the idea of a "normal" life.

He was no longer just a blind man.

He was the Last Master of Humanity.

And he would carry that burden until his final breath.

This is a Story of a Blind Person who took blood covered crown and throne to save his world future.

Prologue – The Blind Master's First Step

(Ritsuka Fujimaru's POV)

Darkness. That was my world.

No light, no colors, just the eternal abyss of blackness stretching endlessly before me.

But I wasn't afraid of the dark. I lived in it. Navigated it. Counted my steps to paint my world in numbers and distances rather than images.

A soft huff of breath—Jerry, my guide, my companion, my only link to certainty in a sightless world. The familiar rhythm of my own footsteps echoed through the pristine halls of Chaldea as I carefully counted each step forward. This Chaldea is my new work shop.

One… two… three… turn right. Wait! a sound.

Jerry's soft growl made me pause. Someone was ahead. I could hear it too—the faint shuffle of boots, lighter than most. A cautious step, hesitant.

I turned my head slightly toward the source of the sound. The air shifted—someone had stopped just a few meters in front of me.

The way of her walking language. No doubt.

A girl.

Young, uncertain, with a presence that felt like she was shrinking away, rather than asserting herself. Someone unused to standing out.

"Excuse me," I called, tilting my head slightly as I adjusted my sunglasses. "Could you tell me the time?"

A moment of hesitation. I could almost feel her confusion.

"…You have a watch, Senpai" she pointed out, her voice soft, uncertain.

I laughed. "Yeah, but I'm blind." I tapped my cane against the floor for emphasis. "Not really useful for checking the time, right? ... senpai! It's great to be called as senpai."

"Then Senpai, why do you wear watch?"

"Hehe, I had a good fashion sense"

The girl is speechless.

A small, startled noise—almost like a gasp.

Then, after a pause, she answered, "It's… 7:47 AM."

"Seven forty-seven, huh? Crap, I'm late. Jerry, let's go!"

Jerry barked once, and I immediately turned, following his lead. My steps quickened, perfectly synchronized with the sound of his paws against the smooth floor.

Behind me, the girl murmured to herself, "I didn't ask Senpai name…"

She sounded… puzzled. Maybe even intrigued.

I smiled to myself.

I should have asked her name.

The door to my assigned room slid open with a soft hiss.

Jerry and I stepped inside, the air inside sterile, humming with unseen technology. Nope, I just thought saying it was cool.

I exhaled, running a hand along the smooth metal of the desk in front of me. "All is well."

A faint beep. Then, a cold, mechanical voice filled the room.

Announcement: Base sequence: human genome confirmed.

Alignment: Good-Neutral.

Welcome to the data center for the future of humankind.

This is the Security Organization for the Preservation of Humanity, Chaldea.

I stood still, listening as the automated system processed my identification.

Fingerprint, voiceprint, and DNA authentication cleared.

Magical Circuit assessment complete.

That last part made me tense.

Magic circuits.

What was that?

Magic, I know about it. I often heard in Audio Web novels of fantasy stories, Isn't it?

Wait! Don't tell me! This Chaldea is a Drama Company!

Username matched. You are recognized as a member of the primates.

Nice to meet you. You're our final visitor today.

Final visitor?

I mean I was late while counting this place distance.

We hope you enjoy your time here.

We are very sorry. Another 180 seconds is needed to complete the admission process.

Three minutes.

Enjoy a simulated battle while you wait.

A battle?

Are you serious!! Is someone doing a prank on blind guy for views and likes?

Regulation: Senior.

Contract Servants: Saber, Lancer, Archer.

The room shifted. My surroundings warped, the air crackling with artificial sound effect.

I tightened my grip on my cane.

Strange!!! This was my first time I felt this. My senses told me the room was changed and I can feel Grass under my foot.

Was I hallucinating? Impossible!! My senses are always correct.

"Jerry" I called her

And she barked towards me.

Good! She is with me.

Again sound effects.

Wait! Maybe, This Chaldea is a Game organisation. I see, now it make sense. So, I was hired to test the game. The people who asked me sound like nice people. They said I should work as a master. Maybe a game master.

Activating Heroic Spirit Summoning System: Fate.

We hope you have a good experience as a Master for these 180 seconds.

A warm breeze brushed against my face.

Then—

A voice, powerful and noble, cut through the darkness.

"I ask of you... Are you my Master?"

"What?"

This voice seems like a little too much robotic voice .

"I ask of you... Are you my Master?"

"Sorry, I think this is a misunderstanding"

"I ask of you... Are you my Master?"

There is no emotion in it.

I see this must be a NPC in game.

Then let's play this game then.

I think I was lucky to get this job. Just playing game will make me rich.

"Yes and Frist, Analysis the enemy, Robot Saber."

Let's play this game, then.

Few minutes later.

After playing the battle, I can say

"This game is Shit. They should improve the game features"

I was disappointed.

Jerry barked and agreeing with me.

"Now, where should I go?"

Then I heard a cute voice but my instincts saying danger for some reason.

"Fou"

---To Be Continued.

Note: Ritsuka was blind but he had extraordinary senses and strong body. I want to write more but I'm not feeling good because of her loss. I will give good development as long as I write this story. The real story starts from next chapter.

I already created a good backstory for Ritsuka and how this version face off his enemies in future. Hope you like this version which is close to his canon version but more chill and chad.

I always wanted to write a blind Main Character. They are cool. So I hope everyone likes this.
