Kevin stood up and took a shower. He cooked and ate his meal in peace. Stretching a little he gazed at the wrist watch :

Outside is quite chaotic with lights and celebration for the new year. He sat in his balcony and looked at the celebration. Three minutes to go. He organised what to do after the tower appears. What skills to choose and make. As he gazed at the celebration, the lights and music is ringing throughout the street where a huge gathering of crowd is looking at the clock and dancing to the music waiting for the new year.
Kevin hummed a tone and enjoyed the peaceful moments. In a few moments everything here will change. In a couple of minutes the people in the ground started shouting loudly while Kevin smirkeda little :

Boom, fireworks along with a blinding light appeared in the sky along with earth quakes. But strangely nothing seemed to happen to any building or structure. They just felt a sensation and screamed loudly then settled down after they saw nothing happened to them. The only difference is that a huge tower like structure appeared in the middle of the city.
Kevin smiled as beams fell from the sky and people started disappearing. All the people from the ground disappeared along with the people in the vicinity and buildings. Kevin appeared in the tower too. The crowd is chaotic, everyone is panicking while some look excited. They thought this is some kind of Isekai stuff when they're going to fight to death with monsters in few seconds.
Kevin didn't waste anytime. He said," status ".

Nothing changed. His stats are still low. He sighed, except his agility nothing is on better threshold for the begining. But that's all, average stats for a human is 4. Kevin sighed, just then a flash of light appeared. A door like portal appeared, from the door, a bunny on two legs wearing a suit and holding a cane appeared.
It said," hello, creatures of earth or should I call you humans. Welcome to the Tower of Apocalypse. In the tower you can become strong, rich, -", Kevin ignored the speech and shouts of people there. The bunny who is talking normally is interrupted multiple times and in anger it roared," silence pathetic creatures ". It's appearance became like a demon, hideous, cruel, and violent.
Everyone who is shouting questions and blaming the bunny immediately shrank back in fear with a yelp. The scene quieted down while the bunny is back to normal and said," see isn't this peaceful? Why shout all the time? Then again I expect no less from a ignorant race. You're all the same. Now where are we? Ah yes, the basic weapon coupon. You'll be granted a basic weapon coupon and a 100 gold coins in your inventory for the player. Your inventory will be 8 grids. If you want yo expand you need to buy grids from the tower shop which will be accessible after tutorial ".
The bunny grinned wickedly and said," the tutorial is a trial to determine if you're worthy to climb the tower. The task for the first part of tutorial will appear now. Good luck. You interiors need it afterall.", the bunny then snapped its fingers while a screen appeared in front of all people and the bunny disappeared.

And there it is. Kevin opened his inventory. There is a weapon coupon in it. He tore it and a screen appeared again :

There are so many weapons there. But only one caught his eye. He selected the sword as his weapon. A flash of light appeared in front of him and sword in it's scabbard appeared.

It's an old iron sword. It has no rust and the edge is fine but there are no remarkable effects for this.just a plain old iron sword. Kevin then looked at the jungle in front of him. Some players already started going into the jungle. He followed the suit and made sure no one is there tailing him.
When he got more deep he encountered the monsters. Slimes, these bouncy little things. They may not look much, but it not careful you'll receive quite the beating from them. Their bodies are like shock absorbers. They can beat you left and right while jumping if you're not careful.
A slime jumped towards his chest, but Kevin just held the sheath high and knocked it down. But the slime that touched the ground due to impact bounced up again. When it's going down Kevin bent his knees a little and thrust his sword towards his core. The slime's body landed on the tip of the sword and it's core got hit by the sword and cracked. But the slime didn't die while Kevin sighed," low strength ".
The slime jumped again and landed weakly while Kevin stabbed it's core again. This time the crack widened and the slime died. A notification appeared in front of him :

Kevin turned around to see a group of slimes. ' oh no ', they jumped towards him from many directions. Kevin dodged few while defending himself with the sword. A slime almost hit him, it missed by an inch and hit the tree behind him, a part of the tree trunk exploded due to this.
Kevin jumped back and put his stats into strength. He then slashed the slime flying towards him. The tip of the sword slashed the slime horizontally. He managed to slice the core too in the process. Although he can't completely slash a slime he managed to kill it. Ignoring the notification, he applied another slime flying towards him and thrusted his sword immediately downward at the slime.
