Los Angeles
The outskirts of Blackwood's Estate
01:35am
The rain pounds softly against the roof,the atmosphere was eerie and cold. A cottage stood elegantly on the outskirts of the town far away from the prying eyes of the curious humans.
The cottage wasn't properly furnished.., it consists of a two sitter couch and a bed with a makeshift wardrobe.
On the bed laid a sleeping lady mumbling incoherent words while tossing on the bed,it was obvious that she was having a nightmare. A nightmare that has hunted her for years.
"Mom, what's happening? Why can't I come with you? Where's dad?" She questioned,her eyes shimmering with tears.
"I'm sorry baby, but you've got to stay safe for momma ok?" The woman sniffed back her tears.
The pain of losing a child is overwhelming but she isn't ready to let her child go, not now, not in this lifetime. Her motherly instincts kicked in, the urge to protect her child. The tunnel is small but at least she'd survive.
"When you've waited for 12hours, don't wait for me ok? Run as far as your legs can carry you to the cottage ok?" The woman said painfully, tucking a stop watch into her shaky hands,as tears continuously dropped from her eyes.
There's no pain than parting with your child in the face of jeopardy.
"Mom.. promise me you'd come back" the girl sobbed bringing out her shaky fingers for a Pinky swear.. that innocent act of hers unknownly squeeze the mother's heart bringing more tears to her eyes.
"I'm sorry baby..,I can't promise you anything" with that she shut the door and walked away
Hearing the bolts been locked from outside, the girl drowned herself in the ocean of her tears. Few minutes later, a loud gunshot was heard startling her from the dream into reality.
Well, that was the nightmare
Present day
17th March 2025

Time seem to stop for a brief moment as a Lamborghini Aventador drove into Glamorous Fashion Industry,one of the biggest fashion industry in the country. Dressed in a black flared pants matched with a black blazer,her red lipstick made her plum lips looks Fuller. Her Auburn hair packed up in a high bun, a sexy she-devil alighted.
She cat-walked into the GFL with confidence,held her head high with pride. The employees stood stiff with their mouths agape in awesomeness, staring at the empitome of beauty. Her sunglasses made them unable to recognize her.
'Who is she?'
' probably,a client. She looks rich'
'And sexy too'
The employees whispers didn't affect her stone cold face. Entering the private elevator She heeds straight to the CEOs suite
"How may I help you Miss..?" She shot a tranquilizer at the secretary before he could get up to see her face clearly
"Turn the CCTV off Sandy, I'm in" she gave orders over an intercom connected to her ears discreetly.
Level six is where the CEOs suite is located. Her heels met with the ground in a meticulously intimate way. Soon enough the suite came into view, the transperant glass serving as a barrier between them.
She smirked cunningly like a predator approaching its prey. She twisted the knob and it made a click sound startling the CEO who was looking for a means of escape. He had seen the Lamborghini drove in but was dumb enough to forget about the secret elevator embedded in his office. No peace for the wicked
"Going somewhere, James?" She questioned her smirk widening deviously
The man fell on the floor, shaking in fear. He didn't expect her to get here so fast.
She walked in and sat down on a couch,legs crossed. "Will you start talking or you want it the hard way?" She asked again, stylishly checking her perfect manicured nails for invisible dirts
"W..we were paid for it" James stuttered with quivering lips
Clicking her tongue "Aish.. tell me something else"
Standing up on her feet..she gripped his jaws tight and sunk her nails deep into his skin,he groans out in pains as blood trickle down his chin
"I..I..I don't know their names,they came to us offering us money to do the job for them.."
She wasn't satisfied with the answers so she sinked her nails deeper.. James screamed out "Bris mines.., I swear that's all I know please"
"Well, we'll see bout that" she brought out a shotgun and there goes a slient bang. Picking a tissue,she cleaned the tip of her gun before tucking it back to its place. Picked her bag and the phone on the table she left the suite.
"Level six cleared.." she said over the intercom, her face void of emotion. The car rerved out of the company while the employees watched quietly obvious of what has transpired upstairs
The secretary woke up few minutes later confused.." What happened to me?" He muttered stretching his body when he sighted the door of the CEOs office open ajar
'did he went out for coffee? No..he would have woken me if he did right?' he inwardly questioned himself,then he decided to check it out
"Sir..,Mr James?" He called out, entering the office fully only to find his boss's body on the cold floor, he quickly raised alarm
Soon enough the building was flooded with sirens blaring loudly either that of the cops or ambulance with one thing for sure James is dead
That's what she've been doing for the past year now, letting them know
