CHAPTER FIVE
Floyd finally got to his office with the thoughts of what perfect surprise he could give to Lilian. He believed in using his wealth to pass a message of ownership. He thought of so many options that he finally got exhausted in thinking of what to get for her and just when he was starting to relax, his secretary reached out to him. "Mr Floyd, you have a visitor waiting outside."
Floyd's eyes narrowed as he didn't book any appointment with anyone "Who is it?"
"It's Cindy, She said she needs to see you" Sonia replied almost immediately with a soft voice.
Floyd's expression changed as he felt a sense of anger stir up from within him. What did Cindy want?
He pressed the intercom button. "Send her in and alert the securities just in case she tries to act funny."
A moment later, Cindy walked into the office, looking very sexy, hot, confident and classy like Floyd knew her to be.
Floyd seemed to notice her looks but chose to act carefree as she walked closer to sit.
Floyd raised an eyebrow. "Why are you here, Cindy?" He felt a sense of unease seeing Cindy dress just the way he loves it.
Cindy walked over to the desk, her heels clicking on the floor. "You think you can just marry some innocent little girl and forget about me?"
Floyd couldn't stop staring at Cindy's sexy body. "What do you want, Cindy?" His voice softened.
Cindy's smile grew wider. "I want you to know that you're not rid of me that easily. I'll do whatever it takes, go through any length to make sure you pay for what you did to me."
Floyd's eyes narrowed. "You're threatening me?" He never liked threats regardless of who.
Cindy nodded, malice filled her heart. "I'm promising you, Floyd. You'll regret the day you ever crossed me."
Floyd's face was calm, but inside, he was boiling. Who did Cindy think she was? He doesn't mind the fact that she looks sexy.
But before he could respond, Cindy dropped a bombshell. "You see, Floyd, I know all about your lack of self control. Just divorce Lilian like nothing ever happened"
Floyd's heart began racing as she walked closer to him. What are you talking about?
"Let me show you"
Cindy leaned forward as she pulled his tie, so he could get closer to her. She began taking her hands through his shoulders seductively.
Floyd tried to resist her touches as he took her hands off him "Stop it Cindy, I am now married."
Cindy laughed out loud realizing his struggles in saying the words and refusing her sexual play. She knew deep down that he wanted a moment and that he could go extra miles to have it. She ran her fingers through his hair, bending forward for a kiss.
"Knock knock!"
"Sonia you may come in." Floyd answered.
Cindy had to immediately readjust her stance as Sonia walked in. She could see the joy on Floyd's face as though he was being rescued from an attack.
"Cindy, as you can see, I have work to do. Kindly leave my office." Floyd smirked.
"This is only the beginning Floyd, you humiliator. You would pay dearly for this." Cindy yelled as she walked out of the office.
Floyd went quiet for a minute as he took time to reflect upon what just played out with Cindy.
"Mr Floyd, is everything alright?" Sonia asked in concern.
He assured her that he was fine and he needed to get home to see his wife urgently, that the work on his desk should wait.
Floyd got up from his desk and was about to take his leave when he remembered what he pondered upon earlier "Sonia, I want you to get a nice gift I could present to my wife, something she would treasure for a lifetime. I believe you could do that." Sonia nodded her head in response.
Floyd acknowledged her response, walked out of the office and headed for the car. Sonia watched him from his office window as he was driven out with the car.
Few minutes later when he arrived home, Lilian could see him drop off the car and head for the door; she never expected to see him so early.
"You are back," Lilian said.
He immediately grabbed her close, she looked into his eyes and could see the burning desire within him. She knew that look on him like she knew her name.
He planted a kiss on her lips from the entrance as he shut the door.
"Floyd are you okay?"
"No, I am not. You would have to make me." He replied with a very soft and low voice.
As he carried her to their room and decided to pounce on her while she moaned for pleasure. It's been a while he had been that intense with her ever since the one night stand they had. She could feel the heat from every move he made.
"What do you want, Floyd?" Lilian asked, still feeling confused about everything.
"I want you!"
Moments passed with the intense heat as they both laid down to rest after a good climax. Lilian enjoyed the moment but felt something was still wrong somewhere.
"Did you mean it Floyd, when you said you want me?"
Lilian probably felt that was the perfect time to ask him those sensitive questions.
"Well, what do you think?" Floyd answered, trying to avoid eye contact with Lilian.
She knew that wasn't an answer, but she knew she didn't want to press further to ruin the beautiful moments they just shared.
"What happened at the office today?"
"Cindy came by the office…"
She felt a sense of anger arise from within her like she was just used to quench his thirst and sexual desire. She could tell what had happened at the office with the way Floyd headed back home immediately to pounce on her.
Floyd noticed that her body countenance immediately changed after he mentioned Cindy but he didn't see the need to lie to her.
Lilian began to think; What kind of marriage is this? Am I just a toy for pleasure?
She couldn't control her thoughts as she looked at him. She felt there was something about him that she needed to know. He was obviously hiding things under his sleeves.
Lilian got interrupted by the beep on her phone. It was a message from an unknown number.
"It's Cindy, forget about how I got your number. I want us to meet. I would love to share a secret with you about your charming husband you don't know about."
Floyd noticed the tension written all over Lilian's face "What is it?"
"Nothing." She lied as she walked out of the room in displeasure.
Whatever Cindy wanted to talk about, she was more than ready to find out.
