Synopsis
Sixteen years ago, Erebus, the Primordial God of Darkness and Shadows, grew bored of his eternal existence in the void. On a whim, he decided to take human form and experience mortal life. One night, after getting drunk at a dimly lit bar, he had a fleeting encounter with a random woman. They spent the night together, and Erebus, indifferent to mortal attachments and lacking any form of identification or means of contact, disappeared from her life as quickly as he had entered it.
Little did he know—or care—that his brief moment of mortal indulgence would have lasting consequences. The woman became pregnant. Months later, she gave birth to a baby boy she named Eren. Tragically, her life was cut short by an unexplained accident shortly after his birth, leaving Eren an orphan. With no way to identify his father and no extended family to take him in, he was left to navigate the harsh world alone.
Eren was always different. From a young age, he exuded an unsettling dark and cold aura, one that seemed to repel most people around him. He threw himself into working out and studying, driven by a strange, unshakable feeling that he had to be prepared for something—though he had no idea what.
For reasons he couldn’t explain, Eren was deeply drawn to Greek mythology. He devoured every book and story he could find, captivated by the tales of gods, goddesses, and legendary heroes. Even stranger, he could understand ancient Greek texts as though they were written in plain English, despite never learning the language.
As the years went on, he began to have unsettling thoughts: What if the myths weren’t just stories? What if the gods, goddesses, and monsters were real? Though he tried to dismiss these ideas as the product of his overactive imagination, the feeling refused to go away.
Then, one fateful day, everything changed. While walking home, he saw it—a creature straight out of his nightmares. A Harpy. Its grotesque features and blood-red eyes left no room for doubt. The myths weren’t just stories. The world he had always read about was real, and somehow, he was a part of it.
Unbeknownst to him, his life was about to be turned upside down as he embarked on a journey that would uncover the truth of his heritage, unlock unimaginable powers, and thrust him into a battle between light and darkness. The son of Erebus had finally been awakened.
