Smoke's POV
"Good job Smoke, now don't touch me, you're covered in blood", Stephen let out a hardy laugh. He's right though, I just came back from a mission to wipe out a group of people. Not the best way to spend a cool evening but at least that's over with.
"Oh and you missed someone, apparently there was a woman at the scene, which you didn't kill. Smoke how many times do I have to tell you, LEAVE. NO. WITNESS. BEHIND! Now go fucking finish the job". I don't particularly enjoy killing, especially women and children, but I guess I have no choice
"Okay okay I'm going"
So much for a beautiful evening.
"Please, I won't tell, just spare me" this blonde woman pleads. I really don't want to have to do this, especially behind an apartment complex. But I'm tired. I'll just make it quick
I grab her by the neck before she has the chance to scream and break it with a snap. Good. Job all done. Now I can go home and take a nice shower. My wishful thoughts were interrupted when I heard a faint gasp.
I look up and see a girl in the darkness, peaking through her window. She quickly hides when she notices me looking up. "Oh great, now I have to get rid of another one. I just can't catch a fucking break"
I slowly start floating in the air, guess that's where I got my name from. My weird ability to turn certain parts of my body to smoke. I don't enjoy using that weird power because it's really uncomfortable, but I have to now.
She shut her room window, smart girl. Might as well be polite, so I knock on it
No reply. I knock again. No reply
Guess I'll just let myself in, and so I did. I walked I into what looks like a bedroom, I can still see clearly in the dark. I can also hear "activities" coming from the other room. Ill just have to make it quick and not make a scene.
I focus and hear the girl's shallow breaths from underneath the bed. "Heyy, I just want to talk, come out from wherever you're hiding", I say, pretending not to know where she is. Why am I enjoying this?
No response. Okay then
I bent down and rolled under the bed, facing her as she's facing me, holding her mouth to stay quiet. That's adorable.
"Hey", I say with a smirk
