Chapter 1 - The First Step into the Game"

Prologue:

"Who even plays these games?" Kaito muttered to himself as he stared at his phone screen, scrolling through the latest "romance" game he'd downloaded out of sheer curiosity.

Brainrot Dating Sim—it was nothing like what the ads promised. The choices were ridiculous, the mechanics frustrating, and it was nearly impossible to get any of the heroines to fall for him with the nonsensical dialogue options. Kaito felt like he was wasting his life.

"God, this is garbage," he scoffed, typing quickly on his phone.

"This game is trash. The options are dumb, the plot is nonsensical, and it's impossible to get any of these girls to fall for you. Who even plays this loveshit? I'll never touch this game again. Go touch grass."

He hit 'Post' with a flourish, tossing his phone aside onto the bed. "Seriously, who wastes their time on this junk?" With a yawn, he lay down and closed his eyes. "I've had enough. I'll just sleep this off."

Chapter 1:

Kaito jolted awake, his body suddenly alert. The room around him was unfamiliar, the bed strange beneath him. He rubbed his eyes, but when he looked around, the panic set in. This wasn't his room. This wasn't even his house.

"What the hell?" Kaito muttered under his breath, scrambling to his feet. The room was simple, neat, and… strangely familiar. A school uniform hung over a chair, and a calendar on the desk read, April 12th. He felt like he should know this place but couldn't quite place it.

Suddenly, a voice boomed in his mind.

"Welcome to Brain rot Dating Sim."

Kaito froze, his heart racing. He looked around, expecting someone to be playing a prank, but there was no one. "What the hell is going on? This isn't funny!" he shouted. No answer.

"You are now the protagonist of this world. To escape, you must make the five heroines fall in love with you."

His stomach twisted. "No way... this isn't happening. This can't be real."

His eyes darted back to his phone, which was lying on the desk. It buzzed with a notification, and when Kaito opened it, he saw a message.

"Your first heroine is Arii, your childhood friend. Make her fall in love with you, or remain trapped in this world forever."

His chest tightened as he tried to stand, but his legs felt heavy, like the floor itself was holding him in place. He couldn't move. The room was locked until the scene progressed. He was stuck.

The phone buzzed again, flashing another message:

"Dialogue options are now available. Choose wisely."

Kaito scowled at the screen, his fingers hovering over the words. "Dialogue options? What, like some kind of dating sim? This is ridiculous."

Scene 1:

Kaito slowly opened his eyes, the strange feeling of unfamiliarity quickly overwhelming him. His head was spinning, and before he could process the situation, a voice cut through his confusion.

"Kaito, wake up! It's time for school!"

His mom's voice was cheerful, but Kaito felt a sudden jolt of panic. Was he… dreaming? He rubbed his eyes and tried to sit up, but his legs felt heavy, like they were glued to the bed.

The first option appeared before him, and his eyes went wide in disbelief.

1 "Shut up." 2 Don't Wanna wake up bitch 3."Fuck you."

Kaito's heart raced. If he said the wrong thing, it would likely make everything worse. He hesitated but chose the first option, "Shut up," knowing it was the least damaging of the three.

His mother's tone shifted, a hint of sternness creeping in. "How dare you talk to me like that? No breakfast for you today. You'll go straight to school, or there'll be no food tonight!"

Kaito cursed under his breath, the reality of the situation hitting him hard. "Shit, this game sucks."

But he had no choice. After begrudgingly getting dressed, he made his way outside.

As soon as he stepped out of the house, he was greeted by an unexpected sight. The left side of the street was blocked off by a thick, red wall that read: No Entry. The other side, however, was free to go and led straight to the school.

"Great," Kaito muttered. "I guess I'm stuck on a linear path... typical of these damn games."

As he walked toward the school, he was tapped on the shoulder.

"Arii," his childhood friend, stood there smiling at him. She was just as beautiful as he remembered, with her pink hair cascading down her shoulders and her bright green eyes sparkling in the morning sun. "Good morning, Kaito!"

Immediately, the dialogue options popped up:

1 Ignore her and keep walking 2."I'm gay." 3 "Please go out with me."

Kaito stared at the ridiculous options. He wanted to scream. What kind of choices were these? But he decided to pick the first one. "Ignore her and continue walking."

Arii's voice rang out, slightly raised in playful irritation. "Hey, why are you ignoring me?" She crossed her arms, her pout almost making Kaito laugh.

The dialogue options popped up again:

1"I don't talk to bitches." 2 If you kiss me, I'll stop ignoring you. 3 I'm not in the mood to talk."

Kaito took a deep breath, trying to remain composed. He couldn't afford to be too harsh, or it could backfire. He chose the third option, "I'm not in the mood to talk."

Arii's cute pout deepened, but she didn't press further, giving him a small, disappointed glance before walking with him in silence. Kaito sighed in relief. It was the least awful option.

The school bell rang as they reached the gates, and the morning passed without much incident. The classes ended, and Arii approached Kaito once again, this time with a more friendly demeanor.

"Hey, wanna grab lunch at the cafeteria?" she asked.

The dialogue box appeared once again:

1 "I'm not hungry 2 Can't you go by yourself? 3 Sure, if you buy me something."

Kaito knew he wasn't really hungry, but he wanted to avoid picking anything too rude. He opted for the third choice, "Sure, if you buy me something."

Arii blinked, a bit taken aback by his response, but she smiled. In her mind, she thought something was off about Kaito's behavior today, but she brushed it aside.

"Alright, fine," she said, agreeing to his condition. "Let's go."

The two of them made their way to the cafeteria. After grabbing their food, Arii asked, "So, do you want to walk home together after school?"

The dialogue options flashed before Kaito again:

1 "I don't wanna." 2 Let's go to a model instead. 3 If you tell me your panty color, I might go with you."

Kaito's eyes widened in shock at the last option, his face flushing with embarrassment and anger at the developers for including such an absurd choice. "This game is messed up," he muttered to himself.

He quickly chose the first option, "I don't wanna."

Arii's expression shifted to one of sadness, her lips forming a small frown. "Oh… okay." She didn't say anything more, her disappointment clear, and walked away alone.

Kaito couldn't believe what had just happened. He wanted to scream at the game developers, but he couldn't do anything about it. The scene ended with him arriving home, frustrated beyond belief.
