Chapter 3 - Kindergarten big brother

"Let's wait a bit! Wait until Xiaohui's health improves." To Su Hao's surprise, his mother, Huang Shujun, was unusually firm.

After she finished speaking, silence fell outside the room.

Over the next month, Su Hao's life became regular. He ate well and slept soundly, and spent the rest of his time crawling and walking. His body visibly regained the healthy complexion a child should have and became chubbier.

The couple was overjoyed and took Su Hao to the hospital for another check - up.

"Your child is in good condition now. Bring him for a check - up every month. If there are no abnormalities in half a year, you won't need to come again."

The doctor was a middle - aged woman in her 50s with short hair. Seeing Su Hao's improved complexion, she smiled with delight.

"Why has Xiaohui changed so much this month?" Huang Shujun asked, still a bit worried.

"The child has been sleeping well recently, getting enough nutrition. Plus, children have strong vitality, so it's normal for them to recover quickly," the doctor explained patiently.

"Thank you, doctor!"

After saying that, Huang Shujun left the hospital with Su Hao. As soon as they stepped out of the hospital, her tears suddenly streamed down.

The tears kept flowing and she couldn't stop them.

Su Hao was confused, not understanding what was wrong with Huang Shujun. Was she crying tears of joy? Just as he was thinking about whether to wipe his mother's tears, he realized his short hands and legs couldn't reach, so he squeezed his mother's hand tightly.

Huang Shujun felt the pressure on her finger, then immediately squatted down and hugged Su Hao, crying bitterly. After a while, she sobbed and explained the reason, "Xiaohui, mom is sorry for you. Mom shouldn't have brought the bad mood from work at school home, making you scared, unable to sleep well or eat well. It's mom's fault!"

So that's what happened! Su Hao suddenly understood. Everything in the world has its cause and effect.

...

Over the next three years, Su Hao's body got better and better. He could run and jump, just like other four - or five - year - old children.

During these three years, Huang Shujun had mixed feelings.

She was happy that her son's health was improving. Besides, her son showed extremely high intelligence, even worthy of being called a child prodigy.

Once, she brought the school assignments home to grade. Seeing that she was tired, her son offered to help her grade the papers. At first, she just smiled and didn't take it seriously. But when she made a mistake in grading, her son immediately pointed it out. This surprised her greatly. So she gave Su Hao a simple test paper, and he answered all the questions correctly. When she increased the difficulty, he still got all the answers right. When she asked Su Hao who taught him, he replied that he learned from reading books. Since then, Huang Shujun was convinced that her son was a one - in - a - million genius.

However, she was worried that her son was overly clingy. His clinginess made her question her life. She even secretly searched the Internet for questions like "Are 5 - year - old children very clingy?" Whenever she wasn't at work at school, wherever she went, Su Hao would follow. He would appear in front of her all the time. As long as her eyes were open, she was sure to see her son.

This made her suspect that besides being a genius, her son might have some strange form of autism. She didn't dare to take him to see a psychologist, fearing that her smart son would notice and feel inferior.

In addition, she was worried about her son's education. There was no doubt that he was a genius, and not just a genius with excellent grades. So the question was, how should she teach a child prodigy?

As an elementary school teacher, she had taught many children. But when it came to her own child, she was hesitant.

If it were other children, with her professional ability, she could easily praise them highly. But when it came to her own son, she was indecisive. What if she taught him wrong? She only had one son.

Finally, she asked her son's opinion.

"Xiaohui, you're old enough to go to school. Shall we try going to kindergarten?"

"Sure, it's up to you," Su Hao said casually.

So the decision to send Su Hao to kindergarten was made.

For Su Hao, it was just a way to get through the most dangerous time point at the age of 5. Once he got through it, he believed everything would go smoothly in the future.

The kindergarten was not bad, and the safety factor was quite high. With all those little kids in the kindergarten, he thought they couldn't beat him. With his current physical ability, being the "boss" of the kindergarten was more than enough.

Su Hao carried a small schoolbag and smoothly entered the kindergarten.

On the first day of school, he made all the children who talked loudly, were noisy and naughty, or liked to hit others cry.

From that day on, all the kindergarten children would call Su Hao "big brother" when they saw him. The atmosphere in the entire kindergarten was excellent. The kindergarten teacher in charge even said that this was the easiest class she had ever taught.

As for what Su Hao did in the kindergarten, of course, he didn't play house with the little kids. Instead, he lay aside pretending to sleep and started studying the Marble Space.

If he wanted to have a stronger ability to survive and live a better life, he had to have something special. Currently, the most special thing was the Marble Space that could contain his consciousness and all his information.

He needed to think about what the Marble Space meant to him and what it could bring to him.

"Does it only mean an endless cycle of death, revival, death, and revival?"

No! It was more than that. There must be many functions that Su Hao didn't understand, waiting for him to discover and utilize.

What limited him now was his knowledge and imagination.

After getting through the childhood crisis, Su Hao planned to learn all the knowledge he could as quickly as possible, including physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, and other subjects, as well as the human industrial system, information technology, hardware, software, and a series of other knowledge. These things were the most important to him.

Because once he learned them, the Marble Space could record them and they would become his forever.

Of course, Su Hao had thought about using the information - recording property of the Marble Space to record all knowledge first and then learn it slowly later. But a simple record didn't mean much. Only the knowledge he truly understood and grasped was his.

One afternoon, Su Hao suddenly heard a commotion outside the kindergarten. This made his heart tighten, and a sense of foreboding welled up in his heart.

紧接着 (Then) there came the terrified screams of the teachers and the panicked cries of the children.

Su Hao quickly got up and looked out of the window.

He saw a man in his 50s rushing into the kindergarten with a knife in his hand. He slashed at the children as soon as he saw them. At this moment, several children had been injured and were lying on the ground, with blood flowing all over the floor. The security guard outside the door had fallen to the ground, covering his chest and moaning in pain.

The children were running away in panic. The young teachers in the kindergarten were filled with fear, their hands and feet weak as they hid aside, not having the courage to stand in front of the attacker.

Su Hao immediately stepped back and scanned the classroom with his eyes. Only then did he realize that there was no back door in the classroom. The attacker was right outside the classroom door. Running out of the door at this time would definitely get him slashed down first. He was now trapped in the classroom.

Moreover, there was no place to hide in the classroom. Only some miscellaneous toys were piled up in the middle of the classroom. He immediately ran towards the toy pile, quickly picked out two plastic boards, lifted his clothes, and stuffed one in front of his chest and the other on his back.

A little kid being chased ran into the classroom. As soon as he entered the door and saw Su Hao, he shouted at Su Hao desperately, "Big brother!"

The next moment, the child who called him "big brother" was slashed down from behind by the attacker.

The attacker's face was filled with excitement and pride. His eyes were bloodshot, looking extremely terrifying. He raised his head and saw a child with a "cool" posture and expression, which was Su Hao standing in front. He excitedly raised the blood - stained machete in his hand again.

"I'm already in the kindergarten, and this still happens!" Su Hao wailed in his heart.
