Once Ethan thought of his plan, he quickly apologized to Merrick.
"There is no need for any apologies, Ethan. Just leave with your parents and become powerful."
Merrick shook his head and asked Ethan to leave.

Ethan whispered in Merrick's ear before putting Elias' corpse in a storage ring and disappearing into the shadows.
