Chapter 2: The Man Who Defies Gravity
A City in Shock
The sky had shattered, and a man had stepped out of a portal.
At first, the people below thought it was some kind of stunt—a movie promotion or an illusion. But when they saw the golden-eyed man floating in the air without any support, fear spread like wildfire.
People pointed, gasped, and took out their phones to record.
"Is this… real?"
"Is he a superhero?"
"Superhero? That's impossible! No one can fly like that!"
Hundreds of eyes stared at the man in ancient robes, his long black hair flowing in the wind. He didn't have wings. He wasn't using any kind of machine. He was simply standing in midair, as if gravity did not exist for him.
The city below descended into chaos.
Some ran in fear. Some watched in awe. Some fell to their knees, believing they had witnessed a god's descent.
Yu Tian, however, remained calm.
His golden eyes scanned the crowd, confused by their strange clothes and frightened expressions. These people were nothing like his subjects. They were weak—too weak.
Had humanity really fallen this far?
---
A Strange Flying Machine
Far above the city, something moved.
Suddenly, a loud noise filled the air. A metal machine, with blades spinning rapidly, flew toward him.
Yu Tian's gaze sharpened.
He had seen many things in the Immortal Realm—dragons, phoenixes, beasts of legend—but he had never seen anything like this—a flying machine, with blades spinning rapidly to keep it in the air.
Inside the helicopter, two men sat in uniforms, staring at their screens in shock.
"Captain… What are we looking at?" one of them asked, his hands trembling.
"I don't know," the captain replied, gripping the radio tightly. "But he's not using any kind of support. He's just… floating."
The captain turned on the loudspeaker and spoke.
"You there! Identify yourself! How are you flying?!"
His voice boomed through the air.
Yu Tian's eyes narrowed.
The words were completely unfamiliar to him.
It was not the language of the Main Dynasty. Not even the ancient tongues of the Immortal Realm.
It was something else.
The language of this new world.
For the first time in a thousand years, Yu Tian felt a strange sensation—disconnection.
He had faced countless enemies, but he had never encountered a world where he could not even understand basic speech.
The captain spoke again, his voice firmer.
"I repeat! Who are you?! How are you—"

Vanishing into the Unknown
Yu Tian sighed.
There was no use in standing here, listening to words he could not understand.
This world was weak, but it was also strange.
Until he understood where he was, he would not reveal himself.
His golden eyes flashed.
In an instant—before anyone could react—he was gone.
One second, he was standing in the sky.
The next, he had vanished.
"W-What?!" The captain's eyes widened in shock.
"He disappeared?!"
"Sir! We've lost visual contact!"
People on the ground screamed as they lost sight of the floating man.

The Road of Fate
Far below, in the heart of the city, traffic moved as usual.
Red lights flashed. Cars stopped and started. Pedestrians walked across the zebra crossings, unaware of what had just happened in the sky above.
Then—a shadow appeared in the middle of the street.
A man, dressed in ancient black robes, long hair flowing, and golden eyes shining like the sun, appeared out of nowhere.
He stood still, his expression calm.
But around him, chaos erupted.
A car swerved violently, honking its horn.
"Watch out!" a woman screamed.
A biker crashed into a pole.
Pedestrians backed away, whispering in fear.
The mysterious man who had flown in the sky had now appeared in the middle of a busy road.
Yu Tian remained still, looking at the terrified faces around him.
Then—his sharp golden eyes noticed something.
---
A Disgusting Sight
A few meters away, in a dark alley between two tall buildings, a young woman struggled as a filthy-looking man grabbed her wrist.
She was clearly terrified, her voice trembling. "P-Please… Let me go!"
The man sneered, tightening his grip. "Come on, sweetheart. No need to act tough."
Yu Tian's eyes turned cold.
In his empire, such behavior was punishable by death.
Without hesitation, he walked forward.
The disgusting man noticed him and scoffed. "Huh? What do you want?"
Yu Tian's voice was calm yet commanding.
"Leave that girl now."
The man frowned, not understanding the language Yu Tian spoke. "The hell are you saying? Speak properly, you freak."
Then, he laughed and muttered something disgusting under his breath.
Yu Tian didn't understand most of it.
But he understood the insult.
His eyes darkened.
SLAP!
Before the man could react, Yu Tian's palm struck his face like a thunderclap.
The force was so great that the man's body flew backward, slamming into the alley's brick wall with a sickening crack.
His body slumped, unconscious before he even knew what had happened.
The girl gasped, staring at Yu Tian with wide eyes.
"Y-You…" she stammered.
Yu Tian, still calm, looked at her and nodded slightly before turning away.
---
The World Will Know
As Yu Tian walked back onto the main street, people whispered in fear and awe.
The floating man from the sky had not only appeared in the middle of the city but had also knocked someone unconscious with a single slap.
He did not understand their language.
But he understood their expressions.
Fear.
Awe.
Shock.
Yu Tian smirked.
This world did not understand power.
But soon, they would.
