The only ones capable of protecting humanity are the Warriors—powerful individuals who hunt monsters and defend the cities. In RIKA, strength is everything. If you have strength, you can do anything. If you want strength, you must become a Warrior.
At the age of 18, some people naturally awaken their abilities and are called Natural Awakeners. However, they are rare—only 5% of Warriors awaken this way. The remaining 95% must pay 200 gold coins at the Awakening Guild to artificially awaken their abilities. But for many common people, this price is too high, forcing them to remain powerless.

Jit lived in Dalton City, a place constantly threatened by monster attacks. He worked at a construction site to support his struggling family. Jit was busy handing bricks to the workers. He worked tirelessly, ensuring everything moved smoothly.
After some time, his task was done, and he was ready to head home. As he dusted off his hands and stretched his tired arms, a man called out to him.
"Jit, you've done a very good job today."
Jit smiled and shook his head. "No, uncle, this is just my work," he replied humbly.
The man chuckled and reached into his pocket, pulling out a small pouch. He handed Jit 200 bronze coins. "This is today's payment, given by the construction manager," he said.
Jit's eyes lit up with gratitude. He took the coins with both hands. "Thank you, uncle!" he said sincerely.
The man waved it off with a kind smile. "It's nothing, Jit. You earned it."
The man patted Jit on the shoulder. "See you tomorrow at work."
Jit nodded, slipping the coins safely into his pocket. "Okay, see you tomorrow!" he said before turning and starting his walk home, feeling a quiet sense of satisfaction after a hard day's work.
Evening—Block D, a quiet street
Jit was walking home after a long day of work, his mind filled with anxious thoughts.
"If I awaken with good abilities, that would change everything..." he thought.
"But what if I don't get any good abilites? What will I do then?"
Even if someone didn't awaken naturally, they could still gain abilities through the Awakening Guild—but only if they could afford the 200 gold coins fee. Jit's family was poor. He didn't have that kind of money.
"What if I don't awaken at all? If that happens... my dreams are over."
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his body. His vision blurred, and a strange golden glow surrounded him.

With Energy Transfer, he could recover Health and MP and even had the potential to awaken others peoples ability.
Jit clenched his fists, his heart pounding in his chest.

Most warriors awakened with an average of 40 attribute points, and Jit was no exception. However, unlike them, he had an additional 5 Free Attribute Points, which he could use to enhance any of his stats.
Skill Points are required to upgrade the rank of skills. They could be earned by killing monsters, but not every monster granted them. New skills could be acquired by leveling up or by using Skill Orbs but skill Orbs are rare items found in dungeons or obtain by killing rare monsters, or boss monsters.
Additionally, when monsters were killed, they dropped valuable items, making monster hunting the primary way warriors earned a living.
But before thinking about that… Jit had to test his abilities.
Looking around, Jit's eyes landed on a dustbin nearby. He hesitated for a moment before activating Super Absorption and focusing on the trash-filled container.

By becoming a registered warrior, Jit could legally hunt monsters, earn money, and finally start changing his family's fate.
Looking up at the darkening sky, he took a deep breath.
