Jane eye snapped open,her heart beating faster like one who just had a marathon race. Laying on the bed, drenched in sweat,her mind replaying the disc of her dream.
In her dream,she was running through a dense, thick,dark forest, the trees loaming above her like sentinels, she could hear the distant sound of rustling leaves and snapping twigs, growing louder with each passing moment.
Suddenly, two figures appears at her back. One of the two was grasping her shoulder. She turned,lo,it was her trusted friend, Elena, and her beloved husband, Mike.
Elena's eyes, were as black as coal,her smile twisted and menacing. She said "you can't escape", she hissed,her voice was low and menacing.
Jane glanced at Mike her husband for help. He acted like she was a kind of stranger.
Jane couldn't help, but tried to scream, but her voice was trapped in her throat. She turned to flee, but her legs felt heavy,as if it was rooted to the spot.
Just as Elena's grasp tightened around Jane's neck, Jane jolted awake, grasping for sir.
Thinking about it,she couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that lingered after she opened her eyes. She looked around the room, trying to reassure herself it was just a dream.
But the memory of her trusted friend, Elena's betrayal, and her husband, Mike's indifference, lingered. She couldn't help but trying to push away the dreams and feelings, telling herself it was just her pregnancy hormones playing tricks on her.
However,as she went about her day,she began to notice some strange occurrence in her home. Mike acting strangely, receiving some suspicious and mysterious phone calls, also leaving the house late, more than expected. On the other hand, Elena her friend seemed distant and preoccupied.
As days went by, Jane's uneasiness intensified, she began to wonder if her dream was a more than a product of imagination or was it a warning?.
One night, Jane received a mysterious message,she tapped at the message box, glanced at it, cold chill ran through her spine, goosebumps appears on her skin. Her heart skipped a bit.
