Lana was left in greater confusion when the man disappeared all of a sudden.
"What was that just now? Is this a trick mirror or something?" Lana questioned her self rubbing on the mirror again to know if she'll see him again.
"They said when you press your fingers against a mirror and there's a space in between then it's a regular mirror ", Lana muttered and placed her hand to know if what they said is true. It may be a fake mirror put up to deceive us.
"It is indeed a real mirror", Lana gasped as she rested her hands on the sink and let her head fall forward thinking she has gone crazy daydreaming about a man in a mirror.
"Hey is everything fine?" Landlady Rosa asked upon walking into the bathroom to meet Lana.
Lana shook her head ferociously thinking it will knock her back to her senses but it just makes her look crazy.
"Are you alright? You look like you just saw a ghost" landlady Rosa asked seeing Lana's containance.
Lana shivered slightly before turning back to landlady Rosa with a creepy smile.
" I'll take the place".
Something must indeed be wrong with Lana's brain, paranormal stuff intrigues Lana a lot.

" Wait wait wait, let me get this shii straight.....you were warned that the place is haunted and you even saw a ghost in the bathroom but you still took the place?" Lana's best friend, Randy who's also 18 knew Lana was going to get a place but didn't expect her to have stupid things coming out of her mouth instead.
"Please slap your cheeks for me. Lana don't you know what common sense is?" Randy scolded.
"Ughhh yes daddy, you're so sexy when you lecture me", Lana said in a sexy tone as she took her phone up to reveal her cat, monica.
"Shut up you creep", Randy exclaimed.
Lana burst into laughter at the sight of his disgusted expression.
"Come on, you know I like paranormal stuff", she said rubbing Monica's fur.
"Ugh yes creep, I've seen your netfloc history but fiction is one thing and renting an actual haunted house is another thing entirely" Randy said with a smug expression on his face. We can't blame him. Lana is indeed foolish.
" Common sense Lana", he shouted with his face close to the phone so Lana would hear him loudly.
"True Ran, but I can't afford any other places close to the university I want to attend, pluuuus a haunted apartment is still much better than...."
*Flashback*
"I warned you already, get a bad grade and you can kiss this damn distractions good bye" Lana's dad said as he tore one of her sketches.
"My art sketches", Lana sniffled. She was just a kid who liked to doodle cause she found it interesting but her dad wasn't interested in what she found interesting.
"No more doodling, fictional books or going out with friends or anything of that sort", he commanded with anger.
"You made me do this, you have only yourself to blame. Do you understand? now throw all those sketch books into the trash can", he commanded and walked away to his room.
Lana's dad was very strict about going out with her friends so the books kept her company through many lonely days. She starved through many lunches to save up for the books he asked her to throw away. She cried as she threw away each book she really worked hard for.
*Present*
A haunted house is still an upgrade from dealing with her dad.
"A haunted house it still better than what Lana? Finish your sentence before I turn 50 please", Randy rolled his eyes at her.
" Haha nothing, talk to you later Ran, I have to submit a few more job applications. Have fun at school" she hurriedly said to get out of the situation.
"Keep me posted if anything happens, don't do anything stupid Lana, I'm warning you", Randy warned with a stern look.
" Ofcourse not, I love you daddy", Lana said and blew a kiss but Randy ended the call immediately he heard her say daddy again.
"Now where was I?" She said and turned around looking at her new place.
"Oh... Right. Hello, my name is Lana, is there another creature in this space, please give me a sign you are here"
Lana said as she arranged some candles around a paper trying to do some voodoo shii.
" Hey house, do stuuufff, this is getting boring " she shouted with her hands raised above her head.
"Ughhh house did not do stuff, you had just one job house", she ranted in annoyance.
But there was slight movement behind her which she didn't notice but Monica stretched and meowed upon seeing the creature.

A few days later, Lana returned from grocery shopping to find her front door opened.
" I could have sworn I locked this door before leaving", she said in a panicked voice.
She walked in but Monica wasn't at the doormat where she always waits for Lana.
"Monicaaaa, where are you?" Lana called out as she walked in only to find a stranger laying on her couch. Not just any stranger, the mirror stranger. He has Monica in his arms too.
"Who is that? Why is he in my apartment holding my cat?"she said in a panicked voice with her hands over her mouth.
Monica turned to look at her but didn't care .
"And why is my cat letting him?she doesn't even let me hold her like that, betrayaaaal" Lana gasped.
"Psst come here", she called out quietly because she thought the mirror stranger was asleep.
Monica flatly ignored her.
"Oh come on, what if he's dangerous?"
" Calm down Lana, maybe he wandered into the wrong apartment, maybe he's the new housemate landlady mentioned I might get" Lana thought to herself.
"Still, better safe than sorry tho", she said taking one of her sandals.
"Excuse me sir, why are you in my apartment", she screamed with her hands In the air ready to strikee him but he only did as much as adjusting on the couch like he didn't hear her.
"Daaaaaamnnnn did a kpop artist accidentally wander into my apartment?", she exclaimed as she saw his face, he was the definition of perfection. His tanned muscular body and black hair was just perfect.
"Okay Monica I forgive you, If I were you, I wouldn't want me too", she said and cleaned the fake tears on her cheeks.
"But wait he looks oddly familiar", she said with her hands on her chin.
'like the Ghost in the bathroom mirror" she thought to herself.
"Which means whatever lies in front of me might not be human", she gasped and flinched.
"Why's it here?", she said and stretched forward slowly to touch him while her heart raced like horses having a race.
Her hands were inches away from his body when his beautiful green eyes fluttered open.
