"Finally, I'm going to get my own apartment", Lana, a petite blonde haired girl with deep brown eyes exclaimed out of joy. She had been waiting for this moment for so long to rent her first apartment and now's finally the right time after the long wait.
"House hunting is definitely not so hard, I can do this" Lana reassured herself with a determined smile.
She went ahead to inspect the first apartment she was given but the rent was way too high for her.
She inspected the second apartment, it was filthy but the rent was Cheap. What are we saying? It was filthyyyy. She couldn't even walk into the apartment because of the strong stomach twisting smell.
She arrived at the third apartment to see a body being pulled out in a hospital bed. "Is that a dead body being carried out?" She asked the agent worriedly with her hands on her mouth.
She was already tired and confused at the point of the house hunt. She really thought it would be that easy.
"Listen, sweetheart. I don't like to waste time, do you want the apartment or not?"
Say what now??

"Beautiful space, fully furnished too. You'll be renting one of the two available rooms", the landlady of the 5th apartment she checked out said.
"Full disclosure honey, this space is allegedly haunted" Landlady Rosa warned.
"That's why the rent is discounted at 60%", she further elaborated to Lana.
"You mean this space won't put my wallet on a diet and it comes with free friends who cannot leave the place?", Lana asked in a low voice trying to be sure if everything she heard was true.
"SOOOLDD" Lana squealed in excitement which left landlady Rosa in confusion and utter disbelief that someone would actually want the apartment.
"Uhhhhm laugh and I might just sign the contract immediately", Lana said to tease landlady Rosa which made her let out a huge fit of laughter in order for the contract to be signed immediately. I mean no one would want a haunted apartment to live in, so hearing Lana say she wants the apartment is a huge gain for her.
"But seriously honey, once you sign this one year contract, you won't be allowed to break the contract until you find someone to take your place, or you would have to pay a huge amount as penalty", landlady Rosa warned with her hands crossed over her chest but Lana didn't even bat an eyelid.
"I can tell you this honestly, many have jumped in because of the low price but most didn't even last 3 days" she went ahead to say.
"Think carefully before signing dear"
Landlady Rosa's thoughts kept on pondering on one thing and she just had to ask and let her curiosity take over her speech.
"But... Aren't you a bit young to look for your own place alone? Are you moving out for school?" Lana thought about the question deeply which drifted her thoughts back to the day she came home one day to meet her belongings packed in boxes on the pavement in front of her parents' house which was technically her home. She picked up a note placed on one of the boxes which read ' Good luck surviving on your own'.

" Hey lady, are you listening? Why are you looking for an apartment?"
Lana was snapped out of her thoughts by landlady Rosa's voice calling her out.
Lana put on a bright deceiving smile, " no reason, I'll explore the rooms abit" she said pointing at the hallway.
No reason apart from being thrown out for disobeying her parents.
They said " study to be a doctor or a nurse at least" and Lana said "NO" and that was the end of it.
Lana walked into her supposed apartment in awe and disbelief.
" Wow, amazing place, even the paint smells new too", she wandered around the apartment like it was a museum.
"The rent is low because of paranormal activities? People really don't know good stuff" she said and clicked her tongue.
Bright, warm sunlight illuminated through the windows. A gentle pleasant scent from the freshly washed floor. The faint sounds of cars and dogs barking in the distance. It's all so cliché. A place perfect to draw in.
The light sound of water in the bathroom caught Lana's attention which sounded like someone washing their hands.
"Is someone else here?" She murmured as she walked into the empty bathroom.
She noticed the mirror in the bathroom and struck a pose admiring her self but then she noticed the foggy mirror like someone just took a hot bath.
She gently wiped the mirror with her palm revealing a handsome tanned black haired man with green eyes looking like a field of beautiful grass standing on the other side.
She gasped at the sight trying to understand what she's looking at. He was muscular and very sexy In a towel but that doesn't change the fact that he was literally standing on the other side of a mirror.
Lana felt like their hands were in contact but it seemed so unreal.
It looked like he was also staring at her with his hand on the mirror.
It almost felt like they were staring right back at each other.
