Every human has emotions. There is nobody who can truthfully say, "I don't have emotions." Every father and mother feels deeply for their child—they would do anything for them. Even animals have feelings. But some people, perhaps because they've never experienced love or fulfillment, don't understand the true meaning of emotions and feelings.
Lessie: "Oh no…"
Garnet: "Lessie, are you okay?"
Lessie: "Yeah, but I'm feeling dizzy."
Garnet: "I think you're under someone's control."
Both kept walking until they suddenly heard a voice. It was faint at first, but it grew louder, calling Garnet's name. Panic set in as they realized the voice was coming closer. They ran, hearts pounding.
Garnet: "Enough! I don't want to run anymore. Let's face it."
Garnet: "Lessie, do you trust me?"
Lessie: (confused) "I do."
Garnet pulled out his notebook and began chanting. But instead of praying to Satan, he prayed to God. The voice drew nearer until it revealed itself: a ghostly figure, cloaked in black smoke, with fiery red eyes. Its form was beastly and terrifying, and it roared at Garnet.
Garnet: (shouting) "I won't run from you!"
As Garnet stood his ground, the ghost began shifting into a humanoid shape. It still had red eyes and a smoky black aura but now appeared more human-like. The ghost unleashed a green magical beam at Garnet, but Garnet had discovered his own magical abilities and deflected the attack.
Suddenly, Lessie realized she also had magical powers. Although neither of them fully understood how to control their abilities, they fought together. One attacked while the other defended, working in sync.
Garnet: "Lessie, stay out of this! Let me handle it."
Lessie: "No, I'd rather die by your side."
The ghost turned its gaze to Lessie.
Ghost: (in an evil tone) "he's right. Stay out of this fight."
Lessie: "Who are you to tell me what to do?"
Ghost: (ominously) "You'll know soon enough."
And with that, the ghost disappeared into the shadows.
Reflections and Survival
Garnet: "How long will we keep running and hiding?"
Lessie: "I don't know… it feels like this road never ends."
Garnet: "Maybe we're trapped by the devil. Maybe there's no road to heaven after all."
Lessie: "Believe in God, Garnet. He'll show us the way."
Garnet: "Then why did the ghost tell you to stay out of this fight?"
Lessie: "I don't know."
Garnet chuckled.
Garnet: "Maybe because you're a woman."
Lessie: (laughing) "Garnet, it's 2024. Gender equality!"
They both laughed, easing the tension for a moment.
Garnet: "We need to rest, but we should build something to protect us."
Lessie: "I agree, but it has to be quick and practical. We can't stay here long enough to build a house."
Garnet: "True. You're good at making decisions. Let's set up a simple camp or trench to hold us through bad weather or an attack."
After some debate, Garnet began gathering materials for a shelter while Lessie searched for food. Lessie returned with grapes, beets, and apples. Meanwhile, Garnet had built a small shelter with two rooms: one for storage and one for rest.
Lessie: "This is nice, but do we really need two rooms? It's just the two of us."
Garnet: (teasing) "Well, if we're stuck here, maybe we should get married."
Lessie: "Marry you? Never! I deserve better."
Garnet: "Better than me? Impossible!"
They laughed again and continued walking.
The Path to Sacrifice
As they walked, Lessie turned serious.
Lessie: "Garnet, what would you do if I died?"
Garnet: "Don't talk like that. Are you planning to die here? That's not an option."
Lessie: "Why not? Isn't this the road to heaven? When Christ comes, He'll take us, right?"
Garnet: "No, Lessie. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. It's written in the Bible."
Suddenly, Lessie stopped.
Lessie: "Garnet, I think something's about to happen."
Garnet: "What is it, sweetheart? Are you sensing something?"
Lessie: "It's my mom. She's here she is the one in the devil form she will kill us all. We need to run."
Garnet: "No, we'll fight. In the name of Jesus, we can face anything."
Lessie: "You don't understand. She's too powerful!"
They argued briefly, but Lessie eventually fled into the woods, leaving Garnet behind.
Alone, Garnet saw a sword rise from the ground. As he grasped it, a surge of energy coursed through him. The sky darkened, and he realized he had made a grave mistake by staying. But it was too late.
Lessie's mother, now a terrifying demon, appeared. Garnet charged at her with a warrior's scream. Their battle was fierce, with angels and demons rallying behind them. Although the angels provided Garnet with strength, he knew the fight would cost him dearly.
In the end, Garnet drove his sword through the demon's neck. As she exploded in a blinding flash, Garnet fell to his knees, mortally wounded.
Garnet: (weakly) "Lessie… this is for you."
With those words, he died.
The Road to Heaven
Lessie, deep in the forest, heard Garnet's final scream. An angel appeared and told her of his sacrifice.
Lessie: "No! This can't be! You can't replace what I've lost."
Angel: "Garnet wanted you to finish this journey. He gave his life so you could succeed. Go now. There are no obstacles left in your path."
Determined, Lessie began walking toward heaven, tears streaming down her face.
The End
