Beyond the Flames " Rebirth "

Xiao Hei rushed to the pit, his heart racing with fear. He had to save Lin Zhen! With a surge of adrenaline, he leapt into the flames, his eyes scanning the inferno for any sign of Lin Zhen. Finally, he spotted Lin Zhen's charred figure and scooped him up, cradling him in his arms.

As he stumbled out of the pit, Xiao Hei's eyes widened in horror. Lin Zhen's body was burned beyond recognition, his skin blackened and blistered. Xiao Hei's grip on Lin Zhen's body tightened, as if he could will him back to life.

In a nearby cave, Xiao Hei desperately tried to save Lin Zhen, but it was too late. Lin Zhen's breathing grew shallower, his chest heaving with agonized gasps. Xiao Hei's face contorted in anguish as he watched Lin Zhen slip away.

With a final, ragged breath, Lin Zhen's body went still. Xiao Hei's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in frustration. He had failed to save Lin Zhen.

Days passed, but Xiao Hei couldn't bring himself to leave Lin Zhen's side. Eventually, he buried Lin Zhen's body in a secluded location, crafting a wooden tablet with Lin Zhen's name encrypted on it.

Xiao Hei sold the story of the Dark Wind Sect's downfall to the highest-paying news outlets. The news spread, but it wasn't met with the fanfare Xiao Hei had expected. Instead, it was whispered about in dark alleys and hidden corners, a cautionary tale of the dangers that lurked in the shadows.

Xian Yue, still reeling from the news of Lin Zhen's apparent death, became withdrawn and isolated. Her father, Lord Qing, tried to reach out to her, but she pushed him away, consumed by her grief.

Xian Yue starved herself for days, her grief and guilt consuming her. Only then did she realize the depth of her feelings for Lin Zhen, despite their brief encounter.

Meanwhile, a middle-aged treasure hunter ventured into the Phoenix Forest, seeking fortune and adventure. As he trekked deeper into the forest, he stumbled upon a strange vibration emanating from the surface. Following the sound, he discovered Lin Zhen's tomb, cleverly concealed beneath the earth.

The treasure hunter's eyes widened with excitement, thinking he had struck gold. However, as he dug through the dirt and reached the coffin, he was met with a shocking sight: a handsome young boy, struggling to breathe.

The treasure hunter's excitement turned to horror as he realized the boy had been buried alive. Fearful of being cursed or entangled in dark magic, he trembled and fled the scene as fast as his legs could carry him.

Moments later, Lin Zhen slowly regained consciousness, his memories hazy and fragmented. He vaguely recalled being drugged by the Dark Wind Sect members, but everything after that was a blur.

As Lin Zhen stood up, he noticed something was off. His body felt different, more energized and powerful than before. He sensed a new power coursing through his veins, like a wild animal waiting to be unleashed.

Lin Zhen's gaze fell upon the wooden tablet bearing his name, and his eyes narrowed in confusion. He examined the cracks in the ground and pieced together the events that had transpired. Someone must have mistaken him for dead and buried him alive.

Deciding to keep a low profile, Lin Zhen carefully restored the tomb to its original state. He then made his way to a secluded mountain, eager to explore his newfound abilities.

With a sense of wonder and excitement, Lin Zhen began to practice the immortal skills Xian Yue had taught him. To his astonishment, he mastered the techniques with ease, including the legendary Five Immortal Invincible Moves.

These moves, which had taken Xian Yue three years to perfect, came naturally to Lin Zhen. His new power allowed him to create innovative skills and techniques, and his strength and abilities doubled with each passing day.
