When did it happen?
Probably, around 2 years ago, when i was only 22 years old.
It was the year July 2025, My birthday...
I was supposed to Go to an interview that would enlist me as an army officer.
About, 10 days from that day.
But, suddenly as i was in my house studying up for the interview.
I had no friends so there was pretty much no birthday party.
well, my cousins and family would be there and we'd have a sort of party at night after playing a bit of cricket on the terrace.
but, currently i was preparing for the Interview while eagerly awaiting my 22nd birthday.
But what happened instead was a huge shadow enveloped our house, not just ours but everyone else's aswell.
as everyone was looking up, I was surprised to see the reason for it going pitch black in the middle of the day.
There was something in the sky blocking the sunlight.
A Gate.
I knew it the moment i saw it. A gate had appeared, right above our head.
But, Nothing came out of that gate.
A total of 10 days passed.
Nothing happened, it was the day of the interview.
What happened, at that moment was truly terrifying.
the sight of blood everywhere.
Monsters eating humans like pieces of meat
The way humans eat animals but raw.
My parents were trembling sitting inside the dining table hiding themselves.
So was my brother.
the monsters were truly terrifying.
They were demons, their sharp fangs, their Thirsty looks, their sharp teeth.
Their disgusting looks.
As we were hiding, keeping quoite.
*Bark* *Bark*
a dog shouted, it was our dog...
Bolt.
He appears to have freed himself from my brother's hold as he was going head to head with a monster 20 times his size.
he barked, barked and kept barking.
the moment the monster was about to throw his punch at the dog.
my brother ran towards the dog and pulled him back.
Gladly, both of them weren't hurt.
as his hand was stuck on the wall, we tried making a run for it.
It didn't matter where, we just wanted to run.
Our relatives who lived below us were also apparently safe since they didn't notice the 2 women and 2 children hiding inside the house.
We took them together with us as we ran.
We ran and ran
until we finally couldn't and we gave up.
Sitting on the road, we had almost given up when something popped inside my head.
[USE SKILL 'FROST SWORD'?]
It asked.
the afraid me clearly understood what this meant and so i accepted.
"Create, Frost Sword"
I shouted while looking at the monsters coming towards us at full speed.
How the heck do i beat these 5 monsters? This sounds impossible.

i took the sword, and gripped it with full force and lept forword and i used the momentum to cut the monster's Head off.
All the 5 at the same time as they were coming at us at relatively close distance from each other.
Their heads were flown away.
With that i defeated this insanely strong monsters.
These bastards, they are hella strong.
I didn't think, It'd be this easy to kill them.

Looks like i got an additional 10 points for leveling up.

I said to my frieghtened family.

It's been 2 fkin years after that. 2 fkin years.
There's been absolutely no progress since than.
I'm leveling us very slowly.
I'm unable to enter Higher ranked Dungeons because of my low rank.
and I've barely been earning 5000 Dollars every month hunting these down.
since I'm only allowed to hunt down 2 dungeons every month.
5000 isn't much when i consider the fact that we have to pay atleast 1500 dollars for just Loans.
My parents created these loans for our education and education didn't end up being of any use.
I was told that i have been blacklisted by the army because i didn't show up on time which led to me never getting to participate again.
I thought my life was ruined but i realised that i could earn way more than what they provide me in the army but that ended up being a lie.
While yes, they pay a whole ton of money and taxes Don't apply for dungeons so whatever comes out of the dungeon is ours.
As long as we Kill it.
Whatever's in the dungeon doesn't come under the Country's Jurisdiction.
So, they couldn't do anything about the Hunter's guild's 'ORDER'.
Anyway, I need to find a way to level up somehow...
Beat, D rank monsters and get to level 10.
I'm currently at level 7 after 2 whole years of clearing dungeons.
Leveling up is not very fast.
I was given a good bonus exp at the beginning because i took out a good amount of E rabk monsters at the same time.
I slashed a Goblin with my sword and all i got was 10 Exp.
