Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Awakening of a Prodigy

The first few months of Li Tian's life passed in a blur, but for someone who carried memories of a past world, time felt both fast and slow. His infant body was weak, fragile, yet his mind was sharper than ever. He had been reborn in a world where strength ruled above all, where powerful clans, sects, and empires shaped the destiny of millions. And he was born in one of the strongest families—the Celestial Jade Clan.

From the very first moments of his life, he began to observe. Who were his parents? What was the true extent of his clan's influence? What was the power structure of this world? These were the first questions he sought to answer.

Being the direct heir of the Celestial Jade Clan meant that Li Tian's life was filled with the utmost luxury. His crib was carved from Divine Spirit Jade, a rare mineral that naturally emitted pure Qi, aiding cultivation even in infants. The air in his chambers was constantly refreshed with Azure Dew Incense, known to strengthen the soul and mind. Even his clothes were woven from Moon Silk, imbued with protective formations.

But none of this mattered as much as his own body.

From an early age, he realized something astonishing—his control over Qi was natural, instinctive. Even as an infant, he could feel the energy flowing through his meridians. At first, it was a mere sensation, like feeling the warmth of the sun or the coolness of the night breeze. But soon, he realized that when he focused, he could guide the energy slightly.

Is this normal?

Even in his past life, he had read enough cultivation novels to know that infants should not be able to manipulate Qi so soon. Even the greatest geniuses required years before they could begin absorbing Qi. Yet, here he was, barely a few months old, already sensing the flow of energy within him.

Unknown to him, his actions had not gone unnoticed.

The Matriarch, his mother, had always been a calm and composed woman, yet in the past few months, she found herself watching her son with increasing astonishment.

"He never cries needlessly… He sleeps peacefully, yet the Qi around him continuously moves toward him. This child… what kind of monster have I given birth to?"

She had kept her observations secret, but she was not the only one who noticed.

One evening, as she sat by his crib, gently humming an ancient lullaby, a presence entered the room. The Patriarch.

Dressed in robes embroidered with golden dragons, the leader of the Celestial Jade Clan carried himself with a regal aura. He was a man whose very existence could make even kings bow, yet in front of his newborn son, his sharp gaze softened—just slightly.

"He's different," he finally said.

The Matriarch nodded. "Yes. More than we ever imagined."

The Patriarch stepped closer, looking down at the sleeping infant. Li Tian's breathing was steady, his tiny body perfectly still. But around him, the air hummed—Qi naturally converging around him without conscious effort.

"He is not just a genius," the Patriarch murmured. "He is an anomaly."

At only six months old, Li Tian made his first real attempt to control Qi.

It was late at night. The world outside was silent, the celestial moons casting a silver glow through the open windows of his chamber. He lay still, focusing inward, trying to replicate the sensation he had felt earlier.

Slowly, he willed the energy to move.

For the first time, the Qi in his meridians stirred under his command. It was weak, unstable, but it moved.

A rush of excitement filled his mind. This is just the beginning…

But then—

A sudden wave of exhaustion crashed over him. His tiny body, unprepared for even this minor attempt, could not handle the strain. His consciousness faded, and he fell into a deep sleep.

Unbeknownst to all, deep within Li Tian, something ancient stirred.

Buried beneath his conscious mind, locked away even from his own understanding, his true power—the ability to create life—lay dormant.

And with every breath, every moment he existed, it slowly, imperceptibly grew stronger.

The world was not yet ready for him.

But when the time came…

All of creation would bow before him.
