Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Lost Memories

In the vast universe, there are countless worlds, spaces and time lines. No one can break the unbreakable law of life: he who dies must remain dead in order to be reborn into a new existence. However, even the gods can be capricious and create exceptions, sacrificing their own divinity in exchange for saving a life in a world devoid of hope.

The one who stood firm to the end, who faced death with dignity without kneeling or asking for mercy, was rewarded with a second chance. But this new life would not come without difficulties. The God who granted this grace did so with the certainty that the man he would save would not want an easy way. The only help he would receive would be the gift of seeing and manipulating, in a limited way, the state window that all humans possess. However, he could only manage his own and observe the windows of others, leaving the decision on how to use that advantage to him.

Thus, he took the soul of that human and turned back the time of his world to a time when he was still young and strong, sending him back a hundred years, to the time when he was only nineteen years old. He woke up in his bed, in a small apartment where he lived alone, after graduating from college at a young age.

The world had changed drastically; powers and monsters had become commonplace. These creatures inhabited towers that came out of nowhere, causing havoc on humanity, because there were few brave people willing to clean the dangers of those structures. However, desperation led the men to get up, improve their statistics, equip themselves better and fight for their survival. This was the story they told at school.

I, on the other hand, had never seen a monster, but I longed to be a hunter, wishing to experience that emotion. At that moment, a flood of questions invaded my mind. A red status window appeared before me, announcing that I had been reborn and was living a second life. However, he did not remember anything. I had read about this kind of reincarnation, where people usually keep their memories.

Dante: - Why don't I remember anything? - I asked anxiously.

The god, through the system and the status window, replied that it was because he had asked for it. According to his words, if he remembered everything, life would be too easy. I smiled at the logic of his answer and nodded.

With the status window in front of me, I started exploring it. In it, I could see my skills, statistics and a new world of possibilities. The window showed my name, level, physical attributes and newly acquired skills. Curiosity led me to examine every detail, realizing that I had a path ahead that I had to forge with my own hands.

Learning to Use the System

The following days turned into an intense learning phase. Although I lacked memories of my previous life, the essence of struggle and overcoming was beginning to resurface. Every morning, when I woke up, I spent time studying the status window, figuring out how the system worked. I realized that every action I took, every enemy I defeated, contributed to improving my statistics.

As the days passed, I ventured out of my apartment, exploring the bustling outside world. People were moving quickly through the streets, immersed in their routines. I watched the young people and the adults, all with the same anxiety to survive and thrive. It was a sea of determination and challenges.

As I walked, the status window allowed me to see others. The figures were floating over their heads, their statistics glowing a deep red. I could see his level, strength, agility and special skills. A group of young people stopped nearby, and I noticed one of them, a guy with blond hair and a determined look. His status window read: "Name: Eric; Level: 15; Strength: 18; Agility: 22; Skills: Accelerated Strike."

A shiver of excitement ran through me as I realized that I was in a world where skill and determination were the key to survival. I observed an older man, his face scarred by the scars of countless battles. His window showed an impressive level: "Name: Aldo; Level: 35; Strength: 40; Agility: 38; Skills: Swordmaster."This was a renowned warrior, and my heart was pounding at the thought of the possibility of facing him one day.

With every person I saw, my ambition grew. In the park, a group of hunters was gathering, and their windows showed a variety of skills that made my mind work a thousand times an hour. "Name: Sara; Level: 28; Strength: 30; Skills: Rapid Healing."I wondered if I could learn from them, if one day I could have such extraordinary abilities.

After observing so many status windows and understanding the vast potential spread out before me, I made a firm decision: I would devote my time to increasing my stats and turning my weaknesses into strengths. To achieve this, I would start with physical and cardiovascular exercises, training my body with an intensity that I had not experienced before. He was a simple young man, but he knew that strength, endurance and stamina were vital to survive in a world where monsters lurked.

The first few days of my training were exhausting. I would wake up before dawn and run around the neighborhood, feeling how each stride brought me closer to my goals. My legs were burning, and sweat soaked my forehead, but I wouldn't give up. I knew that every effort counted, and that my status window would reward me with every breakthrough. Every workout was an opportunity to increase my strength and endurance stats.

In addition to physical training, I understood that I had to develop my mind. Intelligence, reasoning and wisdom could be obtained through study, so I started exploring books on elemental magic. Magic was an art that had fascinated mankind since time immemorial, and I knew that learning to control it would give me a significant advantage. At first, the concepts were confusing, but with dedication and patience, I began to understand the basics.

I would spend hours sitting in my apartment, surrounded by old books and scrolls. I was learning about the different elements: fire, water, earth and air. Every day, I focused on one of them, trying to invoke its properties inside me. The visualization exercises became crucial, and eventually, I managed to ignite a small spark of fire in the palm of my hand. The achievement filled me with joy and motivation; it was the first step towards mastering magic.

At the same time, I decided that I should learn how to handle ordinary weapons. I opted for a kitchen knife, an instrument that could be both a tool and a weapon. Every afternoon, after my exercises, I spent time practicing cuts and movements, becoming a hunter with an open mind to new skills. The knife became an extension of my hand; every movement became more precise and fluid, and I realized that, even with a simple knife, it could be dangerous.

I knew that although my progress was promising, I had to wait five months to take the hunter test. During that time, I decided to maximize my training. Combining physical exercises, magic studies and practice with the knife, he worked tirelessly. I learned basic elementary magic and started researching magic that would increase my stats temporarily. The idea of being able to enhance my abilities at critical moments excited me.

Besides, I didn't want to neglect my health. I started learning supportive magic, focused on healing. In this world, wounds could be devastating, and having the ability to heal myself would be invaluable. Over time, I managed to develop a small healing technique that, although rudimentary, allowed me to heal minor cuts and bruises.

My five months of training were intense, but rewarding. I felt that my body and mind were transformed. Every day, when I looked at my status window, I saw the numbers increase, and that filled me with determination. I was on the right path to becoming a hunter, ready to face the challenges the world had in store for me.

Dante: -Tomorrow will be the day of the test now start my way I will not waste this second chance to live—
