Chapter 1: The Price of the Lost

In one of the wealthiest districts of Paris, there lived a very rich and influential family. Among them was a small and special kitten who had been with them since birth, considered a part of the family. Every family member loved him dearly and took great care of him. The kitten's name was Billy, and he would always run around, playing with the family members.

One morning, the household was in a panic. Family members rushed around, calling out desperately:

Billy! Here, kitty, kitty! Billy! Here, kitty, kitty!

But Billy was nowhere to be found.

It was a rainy day. The streets were wet and muddy, and Billy, covered in dirt, ran through the puddles. His loud, frightened meows echoed in the unfamiliar and dangerous streets. Scared and soaked, Billy finally crawled into a cardboard box beside a dumpster and spent the whole night there.
