Chapter 1 - Important Points

Important Points to Understand Before Reading

These key points will help you grasp the world and lore of The Last Requiem. While it's not mandatory to read this section before diving into the story, it is highly recommended for a better understanding of terms, hierarchies, and concepts that will appear throughout the novel.

Werewolf Species:

Hybrids: Half-werewolf, half-human beings who can shift between human and werewolf forms at will.

Rareez: Pure-blooded werewolves with no human form. They exist solely in their werewolf form and they hate both humans and hybrids and they love to eat humans.

Territory:

Hybrid Werewolves live within a fortified area known as The W Wall, governed by a single dominant pack called Namlas.

Namlas Army:

Namlas maintains its own army, consisting entirely of werewolves.

Special Division:

Apart from the main army, Namlas has an elite force known as the Special Werewolf Soldiers Division, divided into five teams. Each team consists of 7 members, including their leader.

Team Hierarchy:

Special Division Teams are ranked based on their skills and power:

Team 1: Led by Ella, the most powerful team.

Team 2: Formerly led by Mark, now under Matthew after Mark's death during the Peace Talk Campaign.

Team 3: Led by Tivi.

Team 4: Wall's team.

Team 5: Led by John.

Werewolf Stages/Modes:

Normal Stage: Base form with no power boost.

Hunter Mode (25% Power): Common among regular soldiers.

Elite Stage (50% Power): Achieved by Special Division soldiers.

Alpha Stage (75% Power): Reserved for high-profile werewolves, including Alpha, Sigma, Leaders Of Special Division Teams and Every Member Of Team 1.

Rage Mode (100% Power): Triggered by traumatic events, often uncontrollable during the first transformation and no werewolf can achieve it except the once who have 75%+ power level.

Leadership Titles:

Alpha: The King of the Pack.

Sigma: Holds supreme authority, even above the Alpha, making critical decisions for the pack.

Cultural Traits:

Werewolves, whether Hybrid or Rareez, despise vegetables. Many are even allergic to them.

Humans vs. Werewolves:

Humans live outside The Wall and have been at war with werewolves for centuries, primarily due to Rareez predation on humans. Hybrids share the stigma because of their connection to Werewolves.

Peace Talk Event:

Initiated by the leader of humanity and the Sigma of the Hybrids, this event aims to establish peace and explore coexistence between humans and werewolves.

Trauma and Transformation:

A traumatized Hybrid cannot shift into their werewolf form as transformation requires complete mental control, which trauma disrupts.

Rage Mode Activation:

Always triggered by a traumatic event.

Sigma's Hidden Army:

Sigma secretly commands a small, covert army. However, he has no authority over the actual army; soldiers can choose to follow him voluntarily.

Magic:

Magic is strictly forbidden among werewolves.

Human Special Division:

Humans have their own elite force known as Hunters, trained specifically to combat werewolves.

Cultural Oaths:

Among werewolves, swearing upon a loved one is a sacred vow. It is considered dishonorable to break such an oath, as honesty in these commitments is a cornerstone of their culture.

FUN FACTS ABOUT THE STORIES WHICH ARE NOT MENTIONED IN CHAPTERS:

Ella and Jason serves as the narrator of the book.

Sigma's love interest is a human that's why he want peace between humans and werewolves.

Hunter and Logan (Soldiers of Team 1) were supposed to be gay before, but later the idea was changed, and now they are straight.
