As Ashly enters the town, she begins to feel tired and wants to rest. Ashly then walks inside a brothel called [Blooming Flowers] and meets up with a prostitution named Marie.
"Well Ashly, it seems that you made it back safely" Marie said, "Honestly I thought that you died, with how long you took."
"Heh, you wished I had died didn't you" Ashly said in a snarky response. "But hey! You gotta keep wishing right?" Ashly chuckles
"Yeah, why else do you think I play every night for" said Marie, "Anyways, do you have enough for the night?"
"Well sadly I don't, that old man ripped me off" Said Ashly too tired to be annoyed
"Dale was it right?" Marie asked but with Ashly's tone she knew the answer "Dale has to find a way to make money as well you know"
"Yeah but he is so scummy and weird," said Ashly "Just let me stay the night' I'll pay you more the next time I have the money, alright?"
"Yeah no" said Marie " You must pay 6 metal coins for the night, No exceptions"
"Marie! Come on I just got scammed!, you know I always pay up" Ashly said in a more louder voice "One night with the amount I have for now. Just one, that's not much I'm asking from you"
Marie in a more serious tone, "Listen Ashly, I don't want to argue with you. Not with all these customers around." Marie points to the people around them
In a whisper Ashly says, "We made an agreement, remember" Marie just sighs in response "By me paying you, I get a room to sleep in and you don't have to sleep with any of these men"
Marie for a moment stares at Ashly and then just walks away from her. Ashly curses at Marie but she ignores her "I wished she died this time" Marie murmurs to herself
Ashly leaves the Brothle defeated, but is then approached by a drunk man " Hey pretty Lady you one of them" the man points at the brothle
In a maniacal smile Ashly replies "No so don't ask, but I do know a lady that's fee right now" the man looks intrigued "This woman her name is Marie, she charges 6 metal coins"
"Aww shucks" said the drunk man "I only have 2 on me" He says pulling out two coins from his pockets. Ashly grabs 4 metal coins from her pockets and gives it to him
"Here use these I don't need them right now" said Ashly "Go and have fun" Ashly watches as the man happily walks into the brothle. "That'll show her"
"But now I don't have any place to stay at" Ashly walks down an empty street not knowing what to do. She is happy that Marie is being pesters by a drunk man, but in the other hand she knows she will be hearing hell from her
The wind has started to get colder. Ashly is preparing to face a cold night outside. "Darn it! Why is it getting cold all of the sudden" Ashly covers her face with an old scarf.
Footsteps can be heard approaching Ashly from behind. Ashly turns around and finds a man with a mask on. "Who are you?" Ashly asks the stranger, clutching her gun. The man takes his mask off and it to Ashly's surprise, it was a young man.
"Don't point your gun at me" exclaims the young man " My name is Jake, I'm the newbie of this gang" he says in a calm and soft voice
Ashly looks at Jake and figures out that he is one of those types. The young, stupid and arrogant. They are usually the ones to die first in a serous situation.
"So, I heard your the one and only female that's part of this gang. Am I right?" Jake asks Ashly, "I though you might have looked more ugly or older, but for you to have been a beauty sure is shocking" Jake says as he examines Ashly
"Well what can I say, I'm just lucky or more so unlucky to have been working under this gang," Ashly says feeling awkward and not knowing what to say.
"Why don't you and I get to know each other better" Jake asks nicely "I believe it's beneficial to have more knowledge of each other"
"Yeah, absolutely not" Ashly rejects Jake's approach "I'm not the talkative type," Ashly begins to walk away from Jake but is grabbed by him
Jake is now staring at Ashly angrily "Come on don't be such a jerk" Jake grips her shoulder "We can just have a small talk. I'm not asking for much" Ashly tries to get him to let go
"If you don't let go at this instance I'l-" Ashly is promptly interrupted by a much older man "Now don't you two go making a ruckus"
Jake is now looking mortified "Oh I'm so sorry si-" In an instant Jake gets hit with a bottle in the face causing it to shatter "Silence! I didn't give you permission to talk" The man looks at Jake, who had fallen gripping his bloody nose.
"My name is William, and I'm your elder and superior" William says in a authoritative tone "You don't speak to me unless I give you permission"
Ashly looks at Jake who is getting up "I'm so sorry I-I didn't mean to disrespect you" he begins to bow his head "I was talking to her" pointing at Ashly
"This lady is Ashly, and she is your superior" William announces, shocking Jake as he is raising his head "I strongly recomend that you leave now or else" Jake starts running away scared leaving a trail of blood behind
"Thanks a lot William, I was going to punch that guy straight in the nose" Ashly exclaims "But thanks for stopping that from happening. I would of gotten in a lot of trouble if I did"
William scoffs "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear you say such thing" William turns around "Please collect the broken shards, I don't want anyone to get hurt"
Ashly grunts as she begins to clean up the mess "Well at least he delt with that bastard" Ashly says under her breath
Ashly finishes cleaning up the shards and throws them in a garbage can. Ashly walks to a near by building. "Hey is anyone home or am I going to starve today?" Ashly yells at the door
A click can be heard and the door opens "Ashly it's great to see you today," says a mysterious man "I have what you need in just a second" the man says as he grabs and hand her a small can of corn
"Thanks!" Ashly say as she grabs the can "Here's the 30 copper coins for it" Ashly hands over the money and begins to walk away
"Welp today is a terrible day" Ashly says to herself. She begins to walk down the cold street and then remembers "Ah! I almost forgot, I have to meet up with Lucas"
Ashly puts her can of corn in her bag and starts walking. She doesn't want to walk after that awful scenario, but reluctantly she starts to move her feet, one after another
As she continues to walk back, the sun starts setting. The area is now starting to get dark but Ashly doesn't mind at all. In the distance of about 50 feet Ashly sees Lucas waiting for her, like a sitting duck. Ashly starts smirking and murmurs "That idiot"
