Synopsis

The Envoy of Fate

Prologue:

The Collector's Call

Vesper Kairos had no purpose in life. He existed, not in the sense of thriving, but as a mere observer, waiting. Waiting for something he couldn't name. He was a man adrift, without attachment or reason, until the day he awoke in an endless void. There was no body, no hands, no feet, only the emptiness of his own mind.

Then came a voice, ancient and omnipotent, reverberating in the vast darkness.

"Vesper Kairos, you have been chosen."

The voice was like thunder in the silence, yet it felt intimate—like an invitation to a new purpose, a reason to exist once more. The being speaking was not just a god. It was the Collector, an entity responsible for preserving the cycle of endings. The Collector watched over countless worlds, gathering their energy after they came to their natural end, fueling the birth of new worlds. It was a process that was supposed to be eternal and unbroken.

But something had gone wrong. There was a parasite—an enemy more dangerous than the gods themselves. The Devorer of Destiny.

This parasite was feeding on the very essence of fate, twisting it, cutting off the natural ends of the worlds, and leaving them in a state of chaos. No story had the chance to reach its conclusion. The Collector needed a servant, someone who could track down the source of the distortion, navigate through broken timelines, and restore the natural course of fate before the worlds were irreparably destroyed.

This servant, Vesper, was now bound by the will of the Collector.

And so, the first world came to life in front of him.

Chapter 1:

The Dreamworld of Vaynara

Vesper awoke in Vaynara, a world where dreams were more than mere visions of the subconscious—they were a reality. The people of Vaynara were connected to their dreams in profound ways, living lives where every wish, fear, and hope shaped their existence. But the dreamscapes were beginning to fracture. Nightmares began to devour the dreams, creating twisted versions of reality. The people lost their sense of self, consumed by their illusions.

Vesper's first ally was Irenna, a dreamseer who once guided the people of Vaynara through their dreams. However, she had been swallowed by her own fears, unable to separate dream from reality. Vesper, with the Collector's abilities, was granted three gifts to aid him:

Chrono Shift – The power to manipulate time, allowing him to rewind or fast-forward moments in the timeline. Dreamweaver – The ability to enter and shape dreams, navigating and reshaping the nightmare realms. Echo of Fate – A passive ability to detect where the fabric of destiny had been disrupted by the Devorer.

As Vesper and Irenna ventured deeper into the dreamscape, they uncovered that the Nightmare King, a creature born from the collective fears of the people, had been corrupted by the Devorer's influence. It was the root cause of the chaos, feeding on the uncertainty and fear of the dreamers.

In an epic confrontation in the heart of the dream realm, Vesper used Dreamweaver to confront the Nightmare King, diving into its twisted core. With Irenna's help, they destroyed the creature, restoring balance to the dreamworld.

Yet, Vesper knew that this was only the beginning.

Chapter 2:

The Celestial World of Soloria

The next world Vesper entered was Soloria, a celestial kingdom of floating islands where people once communed with living stars. These stars weren't just celestial bodies—they were sentient beings, full of wisdom and energy. For centuries, Soloria thrived under the protection of the stars, but now they were falling from the sky, one by one, consumed by shadow.

In Soloria, Vesper encountered Ashara, a fallen angel. Once a guardian of the stars, Ashara had seen her divine purpose shattered by the Devorer's growing influence. Her world was slowly dying, and the stars—the very foundation of Soloria's existence—were being erased by the parasite.

Vesper and Ashara uncovered the Devorer's true scheme: it was feeding on the very light of the stars, draining them of their energy to fuel its dark power. The stars had fallen into madness, transforming into corrupted shadow beasts.

To restore Soloria, Vesper needed to confront the Fallen Star, a powerful beast that represented the death of a star. The battle was brutal, but with Chrono Shift, Vesper turned back time to see the moment the stars first began to fall, and he discovered the Devorer's involvement.

With Ashara's guidance, Vesper purged the Devorer's corruption from the stars, restoring their balance and saving Soloria. But the Devorer's influence was only growing stronger.

Chapter 3:

The World of Memories – Aramith

Vesper's next destination was Aramith, a world where memories were tangible and could be traded or erased. Here, the people once lived in peace, exchanging memories as a form of currency and connection. But the Devorer had turned this gift into a curse. People's memories were being stolen, erased, and replaced with falsified versions, stripping them of their identity.

Vesper's search for the source of the corruption led him to Sennara, a memory keeper who had lost her most cherished memories. Together, they discovered that the Devorer had rewritten the memories of the world, distorting the people's pasts and rewriting their identities to feed on the uncertainty of their true selves.

Vesper's task was to restore the integrity of these memories and confront the Memory Beast, a manifestation of the Devorer's influence that consumed the memories of the inhabitants. The battle raged in the very core of Aramith's memory vaults, but with Echo of Fate, Vesper was able to locate the source of the Devorer's distortion.

With Sennara's help, they severed the Devorer's grip on the memories, allowing the people to regain their true identities.

Chapter 4:

Sarisa, the Goddess of Lost Hope

In the heart of his journey, Vesper encountered Sarisa, a former goddess from a world lost to the Devorer. Sarisa had once ruled over a thriving kingdom, a world of peace and prosperity, until the Devorer consumed it, leaving nothing behind but ruins. Stripped of her divine powers, Sarisa wandered aimlessly, searching for purpose in a world she no longer understood.

Sarisa was kind, charming, and mature, but her heart still carried the weight of the lost world she could never return to. Her childlike innocence and eternal hope were infectious, and her presence brought light into even the darkest of moments. As Vesper traveled through these shattered worlds, Sarisa became more than just an ally—she became his confidante, and eventually, his love.

Despite her grief, Sarisa remained a beacon of hope, and she taught Vesper that, even in the face of unimaginable destruction, love and hope could still drive the world forward. Through her, Vesper discovered a new layer to his mission: it wasn't just about fixing the broken timelines—it was about finding the potential for rebirth in every world.

Chapter 5:

The Devorer's True Face

As Vesper's journey progressed, he began to see the true face of the Devorer of Destiny. It was not just a parasite feeding on fear and uncertainty—it was a reflection of the deepest, most primal aspects of existence. It was the fear of endings, the terror of losing control, and the hunger for power over fate itself.

The Devorer was not a god, not an immortal being, but a nobody—a creature of emptiness that had gained power from the despair and loss of countless worlds. It was a parasite that fed on the uncertainty of all things—the terror of unfulfilled potential.

In the final confrontation, Vesper realized that the Devorer's true goal was not merely to destroy worlds, but to break the cycle of fate altogether, and leave all existence trapped in an eternal state of uncertainty.

With Sarisa by his side, Vesper prepared for the ultimate battle. He would need to challenge the very nature of fate, the balance between order and chaos, and embrace his role as the Envoy of Fate—not just a servant of the Collector, but a force of choice itself.

Epilogue: The True End

Vesper's final victory over the Devorer restored balance to the shattered worlds. The stories of these realms, once cut short, were finally allowed to play out to their natural end. And in the quiet moments after the battle, Vesper stood by Sarisa's side, looking toward a new future—not just for the worlds, but for themselves.

Though they were no longer bound by the endless cycle of destruction and rebirth, Vesper and Sarisa knew their journey together was only just beginning. For in the grand tapestry of fate, every beginning holds the potential for a new story to be written.
