Chapter 13 - The Dark one

The dimly lit domain of the Dark One was a place where shadows danced ominously, and the air was thick with the scent of decay. The walls, carved from obsidian, seemed to absorb the faint light from the flickering torches, casting eerie reflections on the skulls embedded within them. At the center of this foreboding chamber sat a throne constructed entirely from the remains of the vanquished, a grim testament to the Dark One's power and ruthlessness.

A dark-skinned female elf strode into the chamber, her footsteps echoing softly against the cold stone floor. Her skin was a deep, rich mahogany, and her lithe figure was accentuated by a skin-tight outfit that showcased her body parts, she had big boobs, nice ass and a loveable height. Her purple hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of amethyst, ending just above her curvaceous hips. Her pale purple eyes glowed with an otherworldly light, and her lips, a shade of lavender, glistened as if kissed by starlight. She was a vision of beauty and danger, a perfect blend of allure and lethality.

"Words have been confirmed, Oh Dark One," she said, her voice smooth and melodic, yet carrying an undertone of reverence and caution.

The figure on the throne shifted slightly, the shadows around him swirling like living entities. His form was obscured by darkness, but his presence was overwhelming, a suffocating aura of power and malevolence. When he spoke, his voice was deep and resonant, like the rumble of a thousand dragons.

"It has been confirmed?" he asked, his tone devoid of emotion.

"Yes, my lord," the elf replied, bowing her head slightly.

"According to the intel team, the troop we stationed in the forest has been eliminated. The attack was carried out by a holy spell, but it was not cast by the king or the royal mages of Wisteria. It was the work of a single individual, someone whose identity remains unknown to us."

She paused, her gaze flickering to the ground for a moment before continuing. "We lost two infernal soldiers in the attack. Lupin and her brother, Feriales. He perished when the holy magic was unleashed."

The Dark One's shadowy form seemed to ripple, and a low, menacing chuckle emanated from the throne. "Feriales died out of his own weakness," he said dismissively. "And Lupin? Where is she now?"

The elf straightened, her posture confident yet respectful. "She was last seen in the capital, accompanied by a human. It's unclear whether she was captured or if there's something significant about this human that we're unaware of."

As she spoke, she shifted her weight slightly, her movements fluid and hypnotic. She crossed her arms which made her boobs to pop out a bit, but the Dark One seemed indifferent to her physical allure. His mind was focused on the implications of her report.

"A human?" he growled, his voice laced with disdain.

"How could Lupin disgrace the Imperial Dark Army by consorting with such a creature? Find this human and uncover their secrets. I want to know who they are and why Lupin would abandon her duty for them."

"Yes, my lord," the elf replied, bowing deeply before turning to leave. Her hips swayed subtly as she walked, her every movement exuding grace and confidence. Yet, beneath her composed exterior, her mind was racing.

She had heard whispers of a mysterious individual, someone whose actions had begun to disrupt the Dark One's plans. But she had chosen not to share this information with her master, anot yet. She needed to verify the rumors herself before bringing them to his attention. For now, she would play her part and carry out his orders.

The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm, golden glow across the room. I stirred awake, my eyes fluttering open to find Lupin sleeping peacefully beside my bed. Her silver hair spilled across the pillow like strands of moonlight, and her delicate features were softened by sleep. She looked so serene, so vulnerable, that it was hard to believe she was once a soldier of the Imperial Dark Army.

Waking up to her face had become a daily routine one that I had grown to cherish. There was something comforting about her presence, something that made the world feel a little less daunting. But it wasn't always easy to share a space with her, especially when she slipped into my bed at night. Her half-clothed form and unconscious cuddling often left me flustered and red-faced in the morning. Sometimes I touched or played with her boobs while I slept which was kind of a problem for me.

This time, however, I had managed to keep my hands to myself. Lupin had stayed up late the previous night, engrossed in the stories we had shared by the firelight. It had been a rare moment of camaraderie, a break from the constant tension and danger that seemed to follow us.

Helene's tales had been filled with humor and wit, leaving us all in stitches. Emma, with her witch powers, had taken storytelling to a whole new level, using her magic to bring her narratives to life. The result had been equal parts mesmerizing and terrifying. Ruby and Jennifer had contributed their own stories, weaving tales of love, loss, and adventure that had left us all captivated.

As I lay there, watching Lupin sleep, I felt a pang of guilt. She had been through so much, being separated from her comrades, and now living in a world that was so different from her own. Yet, she had adapted with remarkable resilience. I couldn't help but admire her strength.

Reluctantly, I slipped out of bed and made my way downstairs. The house was quiet, the others still asleep after the late night. I decided to make breakfast, my stomach growling in protest at the lack of food. As I cooked fried eggs, crispy bacon, and a pot of tea, the familiar routine brought a sense of a normal feeling to the morning.

Soon, Lupin joined me, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Morning," she mumbled, her voice still thick with drowsiness.

"Morning," I replied, plating the food. "Sleep well?"

She nodded, yawning as she took a seat at the table. One by one, the others trickled in. Helene, Emma, Ruby, and Jennifer. They all looked exhausted, their movements sluggish as they settled down to eat.

"Eat up, guys," I said, placing the dishes on the table. "You all look like you could use the energy."

They murmured their thanks, eating slowly as they gradually woke up. Once the meal was over, I took the dishes to the sink and began washing up. The others protested when I insisted they go back to bed, but I used the system to cast a sleeping spell on them. Within moments, they were all sound asleep.

With the house quiet once more, I decided to check on the farm. The morning air was crisp and refreshing, the sun casting long shadows across the fields. Ruby's horses grazed peacefully in the barn, their coats gleaming in the sunlight. Everything seemed to be in order, until I felt a prickle of unease.

"System," I whispered, my senses on high alert.

System: Spy sighted. Behind you, to the left. Concealed within the bushes Mrs Fernando Lupin cleaned a week ago.

"Mrs. Fernando Lupin?" I asked, confused by the system's designation.

System: I have registered her as your first wife. Would you like to register any more?

"What? No!" I shook my head, refocusing on the task at hand. "Does the spy have any weapons?"

System: A shadow knife has been detected.

I turned slowly, my heart pounding as I approached the bushes. The leaves rustled faintly, betraying the presence of whoever was hiding there. Before I could react, the figure stepped out into the open.

She was stunning, a tall, elegant woman with sharp features and piercing eyes. Her attire was both practical and alluring, designed for stealth and combat. She regarded me with a mixture of curiosity and caution, her hand resting lightly on the hilt of her knife.

"And who might you be?" I asked, my voice steady despite the tension in the air.

Her lips curved into a sly smile, and her answer left me stunned. "I am Mitsuiri, agent of the Dark One. And you?… you are the one who has been causing quite a stir in the dark army."
