Aria's heart was still racing from the kiss, but she knew they couldn't afford to get distracted. Not now, when Vex's team was closing in on them.
Hawk's eyes locked onto hers, and he nodded. "We need to come up with a plan."
Nova's voice was low and even. "We can't stay here. We need to keep moving."
Aria's mind was racing. They were running out of options, and fast.
Hawk's eyes locked onto hers. "I have an idea."
Aria's heart skipped a beat. "What is it?"
Hawk's expression was grim. "We need to take out Vex's team. Once and for all."
Aria's eyes widened. "How do you plan on doing that?"
Hawk's smile was deadly. "Leave that to me."
As Hawk outlined his plan, Aria felt a shiver run down her spine. It was reckless, desperate, and just might work.
But as they set out to put their plan into action, Aria couldn't shake the feeling that they were walking into a trap.
And when they stumbled into a hidden underground bunker, Aria's worst fears were confirmed.
They were surrounded.
Vex's team closed in on them, guns drawn.
Aria's heart was racing, her mind reeling with possibilities.
But Hawk just smiled, his eyes glinting with determination.
"We've got this," he whispered, his hand wrapping around hers.
And with that, they charged into battle, guns blazing.
Aria's world narrowed to a single focus - survival.
But as the bullets flew and the chaos erupted, Aria knew that she wasn't just fighting for her life.
She was fighting for Hawk.
For the man who had captured her heart, and refused to let go.
And as they fought side by side, Aria knew that she would do anything to protect him.
Anything to keep him safe.
But as the battle raged on, Aria realized that their chances of survival were slim to none.
And when Hawk was hit, Aria's world came crashing down.
"Hawk!" she screamed, rushing to his side.
But as she looked into his eyes, Aria saw something there that made her heart skip a beat.
Something that made her realize that this was far from over.
This was just the beginning.
Aria's heart was racing as she applied pressure to Hawk's wound. They needed to get him out of there, fast.
Nova's voice was low and urgent. "We need to move, now."
Aria nodded, her eyes locked onto Hawk's. "I've got him."
With Nova covering their backs, Aria dragged Hawk out of the bunker, into the bright sunlight.
They stumbled through the woods, Aria's heart pounding in her chest.
Finally, they saw a glimmer of hope - a small cabin in the distance.
Aria's heart skipped a beat. They might just make it out of this alive.
But as they stumbled towards the cabin, Aria knew that they weren't out of the woods yet.
Not by a long shot.
And as they burst through the cabin door, Aria saw something that made her blood run cold.
A figure, waiting for them in the shadows.
A figure with a sinister smile, and a deadly glint in their eye.
Aria's heart sank. They were trapped. And this time, there was no escape.
