Episode 1: Awakening
The morning sun bathed the sprawling campus of morning hill in a warm glow, casting long shadows over the quiet courtyard. Students hustled to their classrooms, eager for another day of learning. Among them was Alex, a teenager with unruly brown hair and piercing blue eyes. He walked with a quiet determination, unaware that his life was about to change forever.
As Alex entered his history class, the door slammed shut behind him. The teacher, Mr Clyne, gave him a nod, then turned his attention to the class. "Alright, class," Mr Clyne said, his voice low and serious. "Today's lesson is not about ancient civilizations or distant lands. Today, we talk about something far more dangerous...legends."
Alex's ears perked up. He had always been drawn to stories of myths and the supernatural, though his classmates often dismissed them as fanatsy.
"These legends, Mr Clyne continued, "are more than stories. some are warnings and some are about you." Alex raised an eyebrow, exchanging glancing with his friend Nate, who sat besides him. Nate gave him a playful nudge.
"Mr Clyne, what do you mean by that?" Nate asked, half laughing, but there was something unsettling in his tone.
The teacher looked directly at Alex, his eyes narrowing. " There are forces at play in this world, forces older than you can imagine. And one of you in this room is destined to confront them."
Alex felt a shiver down his spine. The classroom suddenly felt much colder. ...
On a distant hilltop, a cloaked figure stood, the wind tugging at her cloak. Leannah, a warrior from the immortal world world, stood before her father. The elderly man whose face was lined with age and wisdom, held a wrist ring that gleamed with an ethereal glow.
"Leannah," he said, his voice weak but steady, "it is time." "This ring, he continued, has chosen Alex. His fate has been sealed."
Leannah nodded, looking down at the ring. it pulsed with a faint light, and she could feel power within it calling her. It was her duty to find him, to guide him. Her father's time had ended, and now the weight of the world rested on her shoulders.
That evening, Alex walked home with Nate, the two of them chatting about the day. Nate had always been his best friend, someone who could always make him laugh or distract him when school felt too overwhelming.
As they reached Alex's house, a strange sensation washed over him like he wasn't alone. He stopped, glancing around. "Nate," Alex said, his voice suddenly low, "do you feel that?"
Nate squinted. "What, the weird vibe? yeah, i felt it too. kinda creepy."
Before Alex could respond, a figure stepped out from the shadows at the end of the driveway. A tall woman, her long dark hair flowing in the wind, stood there, her piercing green eyes locked onto Alex. " I'm Leannah", she said, her voice calm but urgent. "And you, Alex are the one who must stop the coming darkness."
Alex froze, his heart pounding in his chest. Nate instinctively stepped closer to him.
"What does that mean?" Alex asked, his voice barely a whisper.
Leannah stepped forward, her gaze steady. "The wrist ring that I carry chosen by father has lead me to you. My father's time has come to an end, and now it is my turn to guide you. The darkness that stirs in the immortal world is nearing. You are the key to stopping it."
Nate looked between Alex and Leannah, his confusion palpable. "Alex...what's going on?"
Alex shook his head, feeling a mix of disbelief and fear. " I don't know, but i feel like something big is about to happen."
Leannah's eyes softened. "It is not a matter of choice. The time has come, Alex. You must prepare"
