And the one covered in a thick mane, appearing more rugged and muscular compared to the slender and graceful Sōkyō, was Zangmarant.
These two big dogs living in seclusion in the Slumber Forest were siblings.
The rumors about humans who entered this forest mysteriously finding themselves back at the entrance without realizing it,
Were due to these two dogs interfering, not wanting humans to disturb their only sanctuary.
They sensed a human presence.
Just as Sōkyō and Zangmarant were about to use their abilities once again to remove this human who had wandered into their territory,
The siblings' expressions changed slightly.
This presence wasn't that of an ordinary human!

Sōkyō narrowed her eyes, muttering to herself.

If it were any other trainer,
They would likely analyze their current team composition before deciding which move would lead to which evolution form for the bear disciple.
But Sun Wuming was different.
Currently, he only had the bear disciple as his single Pokémon.
Therefore, he didn't need to consider team composition issues.

Sun Wuming looked up and saw their true forms.
They were two cultivation dogs.
"Pokémon I've never seen before."
Sun Wuming raised an eyebrow slightly.
During his stay at Sonia's house, he had gone through all the Pokédex texts in the study.
He had memorized every Pokémon discovered in the Galar region.
However, these two clearly weren't in the Pokédex.
"Enjoying the show, cultivation dogs?"
Sun Wuming showed an ambiguous smile.
[...Barging into our territory and calling us rats, you're really twisting things around, human]
The more wild and muscular dog on the left spoke first.
Though they didn't know what Sun Wuming meant by "cultivation dogs," it didn't seem like a pleasant term.
No sound came from their throats; instead, the words echoed in Sun Wuming's mind.
