Chapter 1 - Escape

In the sea area of Madagascar, on planet Earth.

Several ships surrounded a submarine, the Submarine was extremely large of the world's greatest advances since the "System" and other races arrived on their planet.

They were currently ambushing the world's greatest criminal, a rat, a cockroach, a murderer, a psychopath, the greatest poison to the human race.

Azrael, spat out a mouthful of blood. He looked calmly as large pieces of metal had pierced his body. He could not feel his legs, nor his abdomen, from the torso down everything had been mercilessly shattered.

His vision blurred by the pain, he moved his trembling hand towards his body. His right hand glowed a golden color.

He was using his ability.

|Miracle|

A top-notch Individual rank healing ability. Being able to cure diseases that had no cure on earth, it was also able to cure diseases that did not exist on earth.

For a skill of this style, even regenerating body parts was not difficult. It would only deplete the internal mana reserves.

Before it could be fully executed, his hand came off in the face of a sword slash.

"That was close" Murmured a burly man as he held a large sword.

Out of the darkness a man appeared revealing himself to the burly man.

"He has immense mana reserves, it's amazing that he could execute that skill more than 5 times in a row and recover his body parts."

"He was a nuisance but not anymore" said the hulking man before looking back at Azrael with murderous eyes.

"Shall we kill him?" asked the burly man.

The place fell silent, but a strong wind came from above.

"No, let him die slowly. That's what he deserves, to think about his actions," said a red-haired woman who came flying down using her Wind Control ability.

"Hmpf, as if he will he has killed so many and done so many horrible things that his time to come to his senses is over" The man clenched his sword tightly but did not move, he dared not disobey his leader.

For among the three of us here, she is the one who has suffered the most for this man, this monster in human skin.

The man sheathed his sword and the hooded man put away his dagger. They both used their own abilities to exit the place leaving the woman alone with this man.

"You never expected it, did you?"

There was no answer but Azrael's stare and his heavy but agitated breathing.

"To end up in this sorry state, it's unfortunate that such incredible healing ability is lost on a scumbag like you. I don't understand those who believed that you could be redeemed.

"How could they be so blind, believing that you a man who trafficked men, women and children, that bastard who murdered everything that came his way, even those who believed in you died at your hands."

"You do not deserve redemption."

The woman turned around and when her cloak shifted it could be seen that her right hand only had two fingers and a third was half grown.

"Three fingers hehe~" A soft mocking laugh escaped Azrael's mouth.

The red-haired woman trembled at the mention of that nickname, she raised both hands that were in the same condition. She then waved them, summoning the wind with her ability to then rise up and out of the submarine.

"Hehe! hahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

That laugh would be the one that would haunt the dreams and nightmares of that woman here in the future.

"Haha~" Without much energy he let out a laugh and watched as the submarine began to fill with water.

His gaze turned cold and serious, the situation he was in was not good. His left arm was paralyzed, by the cuts of the dagger of that hooded bastard and his left hand had been cut.

But the most serious thing was not that, it was the loss of blood, to say that he had only a few seconds left was an understatement. But the problem here was...

That he couldn't laugh in the face of those bastards, when he regenerated his body again.

He quickly executed his ability

|Miracle|

His ability does not require him to use it specifically with his hand to execute it. If he wished he could execute it without any gesture. Obviously this result was very difficult to achieve.

If it were not for the fact that after experimenting with all the test subjects a few years ago, the same experiment on himself. Trying to find a way the limitations of this ability.

|Miracle: the blind could see, the deaf could hear, the mute could speak and the paralyzed could walk|

The abilities did not tell you what you could do in full, you could only intuit how to use them with experimentation and self-discovery.

His wound began to glow with a golden color and slowly began to heal, depleting his meager mana reserves at the same time. First he focused on healing his arms as quickly as possible.

Being already healed at the same time that he healed the wounds from his abdomen down, he crawled himself on the ground. Although some of his organs were scattered along the way, at least he no longer had large chunks of bald metal in his body.

It was a race against time, it was also a struggle of will and desperation. Right now he could die, it would be very funny if he died having such an ability.

His body finished growing and the water from the submarine was already wetting his ears, now the only detail was the mana depletion.

He looked at his system window

|Name: Azrael|

|Species: Human|

|Path: none|

|Rank: individual-level 5|

|Abilities|

|Miracle: the blind could see, the deaf could hear, the mute could speak, and the paralyzed could walk|

The window didn't say anything about statistics or anything like that, it just gave you a glimpse of what you needed. Not that Azrael needed any more.

Just by feeling the mana in his body he knew that if anything happened to him now he would not be able to heal. His body felt weakened without mana, in short he was now as weak as a human barely doing any exercise or any physical activity.

"Shit" Azrael spat out some blood he had in his mouth. He quickly headed towards the departure lounge where he had buso suits.

When he arrived, he looked at the broken suits in addition to the corpses of his men lying around, indifferent to the deaths of his men and with a disgusted face he kicked a body to the side only because it was in his way.

There was no suit in good condition and the water was already reaching his hips. Now he could only rely on his increased strength because he was at level 5 of the Individual rank.

He took a diving mask, which was the few things that were still in good condition, plus an underwater flashlight for guidance.

He didn't come to Madagascar for nothing, he came here for a reason.

Before he was ambushed, he had infiltrated one of the bases of the two races that came to earth after the arrival of the "System", that place was the fastest way to get information about what was happening in the world.

He quickly kills many of one of these races, the weaker ones and those who saw him were also killed in a brutal and funny way.

Getting information from the space cracks.

Holes of different colors that can take humans from one side to another.

Humans already knew of several, such as the blue cracks that connect one planet to another. Yellow cracks are portals created by others to go from one side to another specifically those that were from another side of the universe.

The purple cracks, these are more friendly can move someone from one side to another on the same planet.

But the red cracks are not known although they do because you can not return from these cracks, according to the information obtained by Azrael. The red cracks are like a blue crack only these are unstable.

These cracks can be crossed but when they are crossed to the other side there will not be another space crack to return.

In the sea area of Madagascar there was a red portal that he found long ago before the arrival of the other races.

With his diver's mask he went deeper and deeper into the water and between the cracks of the earth he could see a red flash, the portal was spinning against the clock and seemed to give red flashes infrequently.

Azrael, although exhausted, looked at the portal full of emotion and went through it without any fear.

When he opened his eyes Azrael looked at the strong sunlight, felt the sand in his fingers and moved his body little by little, although it hurt him it was not as much as before since his mana had recovered in a great way.

Which was a sign that he had fallen asleep after exiting the portal or maybe he passed out from exhaustion while going through the portal.

"I only remember a red light" He complained aloud as he put his hand to his face.Â
