Ayaan got ready to experience the full force of the landing, however, to his surprise, he noticed that a lot of force had been dissipated to the sides.
That might be one of the reasons the shockwave that came along with the mud wave hit him so hard before.
However, it is still painful.

He almost flew away from the back of the Frog, however he held on to the crown way too tight. He could almost feel the crown trembling as if it was ready to break.
But the frog king might not have felt it, because there is something much more troublesome and painful that it has to feel.
The foreleg that Ayaan attacked, came off as soon as it landed. Even though the hind legs are the main cushion for the landing, it seems like the force taken by the forelegs is not small. The second foreleg, which was actually untouched by Ayaan, had to bear all the force front force.
*CRACK*
With an audible crack, the bone of that leg broke and a part of it even protruded out of its flesh.
Ayaan still didn't let go of the crown.
He took out one of the swords stuck on its back and threw it off. He pierced his finger into the gash.

The water bullets seemed to have a better effect this way.

The effect of that foreleg did more damage than he estimated.
The frog tried to move, but its forelegs couldn't be used anymore. After a few tries, it swung to the side, fell to the ground, and rolled over.
Ayaan immediately let go and let himself be swung away. The frog king rolled over, all the swords that were unevenly stuck on its back, either went deeper or dropped off its body.

Ayaan crashed into a structure.

He still has over 60 Health points still decent. He looked at the Frog King. It is struggling to get its footing. Even though these frogs mostly use their hind legs for their movement, their forelegs are not indispensable.
They support their front bodies. The Frog King rolled over. Its chin is on the ground, and the broken foreleg can't support its weight anymore and buckles.
It looked at Ayaan hatefully.
*RIIBBBBIIT*
Its hind legs bulged once again. However, instead of jumping up, it dashed towards Ayaan.
Its speed is a lot less than before. Ayaan with his possession still active, easily dodged it. He slipped to the side and

He shot the frog king with the water bullet.
It couldn't even dodge like before.

But it did something unexpected. Ayaan stood to its left and he is still pretty close to it. The frog king kicked the ground with its right leg, throwing its huge body at Ayaan.

But he was still hit by its huge body.

Before he stood up, the frog king already got ready to crash into him again. But Ayaan this time got prepared. He went with the same tactic as before. He took out a sword and leaped over the frog king as it dashed at him.
The frog king all of a sudden kicked the ground and jumped into the air, changing its trajectory.
*BAM*
The back of the frog king hit him.
*THWAK* *THWAK*
Both the sword and the water bullet landed on its back, but Ayaan was sent flying, vertically. The frog king moved with its mouth wide open, aiming for Ayaan's fall.
Ayaan coldly glared at the monster and aimed at its head, precisely at its eyes.
*THWAK* *THWAK*
It could have dodged them if it was on the ground. Even without its forelegs, but in mid-air, it didn't have much strength left.
The yellow eyes burst open with blood squirting out of them.
*RIBBBBBBIIIIITTTT*
Its loud croaking pricked his ears. The frog king lost its focus and didn't cushion its landing. It landed with the full shock coursing through its legs.

Ayaan took out another sword and landed on its back while stabbing it.
Still, he had to take some damage.

He spat out some blood and stopped himself from falling off its back, by holding the crown.

The frog king raged. The pain it felt and the darkness that came with it seemed unbearable. It kept on dashing around, bashing into the structures, moving side by side, it tried to throw off Ayaan. But he held on to the crown tightly.

He spammed the 2 MP water bullet, this time towards the shoulder of its hind leg. But when he reached sixty hits, he was out of his MP.
The frog king who barely got its bearings after the onslaught of the water bullet has stopped, concentrated its energy into the hindlegs. Maybe it could sense that Ayaan is out of MP, or maybe it got crazy and forgot its fear by forgetting what happened to its forelegs in the previous jump.
*BAM*
It jumped into the air. But this time, it didn't go as high as before. Only around half of the previous jumps. Ayaan held its crown and took out his gun.
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
He knew this would be the best chance he would get. He didn't hesitate and emptied his magazine. All of them aimed at the hole already created by the water bullets before. The bullets didn't pack the same punch as the water bullet.
They might not even be able to penetrate the skin as well as the water bullet, but here the flesh is already exposed and he just needs to expand the damage.
And with actual bullets, the firing rate is much faster. Ayaan emptied the magazine before they could reach the ground.
And when they did….

The hind leg broke off completely.

Ayaan was thrown off its back, he crashed into the ground and felt a couple of bones break.
It's a big health drop, but it's bigger for the Frog King.

Even though it has 24 percent, it cannot move anymore. The one hind leg that is still intact has to take too much force when cushioning the fall. It's trembling and with all the rage that the frog king can manifest, it is barely trying to move around.
But it couldn't.
Ayaan stood up. He picked up the gun that fell off his hands. He stood at a good distance away from the frog king and changed the magazine.

He aimed at its second hind leg and emptied the magazine.

Only after he is sure that its leg is not moving did he slowly approach it. He picked up the Mutant Soldier sword nearby and aimed it at the root of its crown.

The first thing he noticed was that his inventory was full. He also lost his two magazines. The loot of this quest is quite numerous. All the frogmen irrespective of their level gave out the loot. He also noticed that the Black Iron combat knife which he dropped while fighting still made its way, while the Magazine that he didn't even take out of the inventory was pushed away.
It seemed likethe system had its own hierarchal structure and priority regarding the items kept in inventory.
He didn't mind that anyway. Compared to the two guns he lost in the previous quest, this is a much better deal.
As for the loot, even though he cannot use it, he figured he could sell it all for some coins in the Trading channel.
Apart from that, there are two things that attracted his attention at a lot. The first one is of course, the Exp requirement for the next level up. Once again it is ten times the previous level.
Even in this quest, he managed to level up, solely because of triggering the hidden requirements. He doesn't even know what kind of monsters will be there in the next quest and how much Exp he can farm. But either way, it is way too high.
He just hoped that the next level up wouldn't be one million Exp. That way, he can only imagine how many monsters he had to kill.
The second thing is the Essence of Frog King. The consumable item he gained in the Quest.
He wanted to check it out but at that moment….

Ayaan stopped the shower and tied the towel around his waist. He opened the bathroom door, came out, and took a few steps forward.
*SWOOSH*
Ayaan suddenly turned around, his elbow extended out…
*CRACK*
He heard and felt the crack of the skull his elbow was driven into, an attacker who was about to place a wet towel over Ayaan's head, was lying down on the floor with blood seeping out of his black mask.

Ayaan then caught a knife coming at him from a corner and threw it back.
"Arrghh…" A muffled scream that died before it could come out of his throat. Ayaan turned around and kicked at another attacker who came at him from a different corner.

'Cross to the face'
Three hits, and the last punch… Ayaan felt his fist go through the other party's face without any resistance. Finally, he turned around and swiftly caught the last attacker by his throat and raised him up, snapping his neck.
