Chapter 2 - Where it Ends

I remember the day it happened. The day I finally thought I was free. May 18th 2018, That day still replays over and over in my mind and I don't think I could ever forget it, even if I wanted to. The day started off the same as every other I would get up, go downstairs, make breakfast for myself, and watch cartoons. I would wander over the game room to try and play videogames but usually I would be beat to it by one of my brother's. On this particular day, my little brother Milo was playing, although I don't quite remember what game. My parents were still asleep, that's when he came downstairs, he found me sitting in the game room, he spoke up "Come upstairs I've been working on something, I wanna show you." I quietly followed him upstairs, knowing what was about to happen. I stepped down into his bedroom, the smell of Axe body spray and dirty laundry filled the air. He slid headphones into my ears and then proceeded to slowly pull my pants down, I hated how I felt I just wanted it to stop. This went on for what felt like forever. After awhile my mother opened the door finding me looking up at her scared as ever, shrieking at the sight that she beheld. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?" She screamed, my dad jumping out of bed to find out what was happening. I ran out of the room listening to my mother interrogating him, asking him why he thought that what he was doing was okay, his voice stammered then belted "She wanted to do it!" my mother screamed back at him "She's only 12, What the fuck is wrong with you!" I sat on my bed for what seemed like forever, I didn't cry I just felt a mix of confusion for what was going to happen now that my mother found out what was happening to me. A few hours passed and my mother asked me to come downstairs, when I walked into the living room there was a police officer standing in front of the couch, he beckoned for me to sit, his voice low and soothing "Can you tell me about what happened to you?" I stuttered a bit, my mother patting my back, I spoke up quietly "It all started when I got up, I was downstairs and he asked me to come upstairs and join him" the officer jotted something down on his notepad "Can you tell me about how long this has been going on?" I never struggled to remember the start of it because I wanted it to end "It's been going on for almost a year " the officer then asked more in depth personal questions about the situation then finished jotting down information on his notepad and exited the living room. The rest of the day was a blur all I remember thinking was "what is going to happen now?"
