Wang Yin ran out of the press conference hall, her heart pounding in her chest. Her hands shook as she gripped her phone, trying to call someone—anyone—who could help her.

"Pick up… please pick up…" she whispered.

But no one answered.

Her carefully built image had collapsed in seconds. Everything she had worked for was now crumbling around her. The reporters, the cameras, the flashing lights—all of it had turned against her. She was no longer the respected actress, the beloved star. Now, she was a liar, a fraud, a schemer.

As she reached her car, she finally managed to call Guo Bao. The phone rang several times before he picked up.

"Guo Bao! You have to help me! Zi Ning—she ruined everything! You know I did this for you!"

There was silence on the other end.

Then, Guo Bao's cold voice came through. "For me? Wang Yin, I told you not to drag me into your mess. I warned you to leave Zi Ning alone, but you didn't listen."

Wang Yin's breath caught. "But… I did it for us! She betrayed you! She humiliated you! I wanted to make her suffer—"

Guo Bao laughed bitterly. "She betrayed me? Or was it the other way around? Face it, Wang Yin. I lost to her. And now you've lost too."

"No!" Wang Yin screamed. "I can fix this! I can turn things around! You just have to stand by me—"

"I can't."

His voice was final.

Wang Yin felt like the ground had disappeared beneath her.

"No… you can't do this to me. Guo Bao, you promised—"

"I promised nothing," he interrupted. "You did this to yourself."

With that, he hung up.

Wang Yin stared at her phone, her hands trembling.

No. This wasn't happening.

Meanwhile, Zi Ning sat in Lu Yichen's office, sipping tea as she watched the news. The headlines were ruthless.

[Wang Yin's downfall—caught in her own web of lies!]

[Major brands drop Wang Yin as sponsors pull out!]

[Entertainment industry cuts ties with Wang Yin—her career officially over?]

Xu Jia smirked. "She's done. No one will work with her after this."

Zi Ning set down her cup. "Not yet. She's still desperate. And desperate people make reckless choices."

Lu Yichen nodded. "She'll try to fight back. But it won't work."

Zi Ning leaned back, thinking. "We need to make sure she doesn't get any chances. I want every single one of her sponsors to pull out. Every contract, every deal—destroy them all."

Xu Jia's eyes gleamed. "Consider it done."

The next morning, Wang Yin woke up to the worst news of her life.

Author's Note: Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.

One by one, every company that had ever worked with her announced they were cutting ties.

[Luxury Brand X terminates contract with Wang Yin.]

[Top drama studio announces replacement for Wang Yin's lead role!]

[Wang Yin's agency drops her—official statement: 'We do not tolerate dishonesty.']

Her phone rang non-stop, but none of the calls were in her favor.

"Miss Wang, we regret to inform you that our brand can no longer be associated with you."

"Miss Wang, we have decided to cast someone else for the role you were offered."

"Miss Wang, your scheduled appearances have been canceled."

Everything was falling apart.

By the afternoon, she had lost all her endorsements.

By the evening, she had lost her job.

And by the next morning, she had lost her home.

The luxury apartment she had been living in wasn't under her name—it belonged to the studio. And now that she was no longer under contract, she was being evicted.

She stood outside the building, her suitcase by her feet, as rain poured down on her.

Her expensive clothes were soaked, her makeup ruined. She looked nothing like the glamorous star she had once been.

No fans came to support her. No friends came to help her.

She was alone.

Truly alone.

Her phone rang again.

It was her manager.

She hesitated before answering. "Hello?"

A cold voice responded, "Wang Yin, the company has officially blacklisted you. No agency will take you now. You should leave the city while you still can."

Wang Yin gritted her teeth. "You can't do this to me!"

"We already have."

Click.

The line went dead.

Wang Yin let out a choked sob, gripping her phone so tightly her knuckles turned white.

This wasn't how things were supposed to go.

Zi Ning was the one who was supposed to be ruined. Not her.

Not her!

At the Lu Group headquarters, Zi Ning sat in Lu Yichen's office, reviewing the final reports.

Xu Jia walked in with a triumphant smile. "It's done. Wang Yin has been completely blacklisted. Even if she leaves the city, no company will take her."

Zi Ning glanced at the reports. "Good. Now she'll know what it feels like to be powerless."

Lu Yichen looked at her. "Are you satisfied?"

Zi Ning thought for a moment before nodding. "Yes. She deserves this."

Lu Yichen smirked. "Then let's move on. We have bigger things to focus on."

Zi Ning smiled. "Yes. Wang Yin is finished. It's time to look ahead."

The war was over.
