In a bustling city filled with people waiting for new years eve with their friends, family and lovers.

The ground shakes as what looks like a tear in the middle of a crowd of people had appeared.

Many was confused thinking it was a street performance and watched, but as the tear opened a green skin monster appeared and slashed one of the people watching close by.

As panic ensues the crowd near the event runs as more and more of the same green skined monster appeared.

Two cops rush to the scene as people run past them they see a monster killing a few of the people running away and they draw their guns and immediately shoot the monster and it falls to the ground.

But as one of the cops try to help an injured person flee the scene the monster gets up and has somehow regenerated from its wounds slashing one of the cops.

And as one of the cop watches in horror as both his partner and the civillian gets killed by the same monster they thought to be shot dead, he gets stabbed through the chest and sees what looks like a portal to another world filled with monsters.

People are dying cities are being taken over by these monsters every country's government are deploying their full military power to ensure many civilians evacuate cities and places with portals.

But due to the monsters ability to regenerate unless killed before it can making evacuation from cities practically impossible.

Every country's government has now united as one to combat the monsters and to save as many as they can.

But even with modern day firepower all they could do was hold back the monsters at their doorstep, and thus humanity was threatened, so they turned to research many of the worlds top researchers were desperately trying to find a way to fight back.

They found it, a way to fight back they called it kril, it was a metal found near the portals the more dangerous the portal the more krill was found near it and so the government sent out what was practically suicide missions to retrieved more.

At first krill was made into bullets for the military to use since krill negates the healing abilities of monsters but it was to inefficient due to the way to obtain it.

Now the top researchers are experimenting with krill trying to find a more efficient way to fight back but the clock is ticking strongholds are falling and stronger monsters are appearing day by day.

Until one day they found it if krill was forged into a bar if held by the right person it transforms into a weapon that fits its user

It gave its user superhuman physical abilities and power like being able to conjure flames or wind from its body.

With the help of people who weild the power of krill humanity managed to fight back and slowly retake their land
