I was super pumped as I peered at the screen, I finally made it to the boss fight... It only took me a little over 100 hours of grinding, but I made it. I remember the glitch to beat him, or I think I do...Â
My character pushed the doors open, and the cut scene began. My character stood in astonishment, as her eyes were glued on him. Despite being a total evil character, he was really good looking.Â
"So, you finally made it into my throne room... I'm touched you're that dedicated to seeing me fall. Had I still been human, I'd be interested in you... But let's finish this, there are other things I would rather do than waste precious time on you." He spoke, as he unsheathed the sword on his hip. He tossed the sheath to the side and started approaching.Â
The cutscene ended, and he flash-stepped in front of my character. I jerked the controller instinctively, as my character rolled out of the way just in time. But somehow, she still got hit. How's that fair? Guess this is why they found the glitch in the first place.Â
I shadow-stepped a fair distance away to initiate the glitch. When I got in position, he approached as he did the overhead sword slash that always leaves him vulnerable for eight seconds.Â
.....And now!Â
I used the
My character moved quickly as her health started dropping, I had a very high chance to Crit from my health being so low and the charm she wore guaranteed his health to falter to the curse from the Sword!Â
She ate a strip of Dried Venison and drank a crit rate up potion then quickly slashed and I saw his health meter drop by nearly one million!Â
But, if I wasn't fast enough; his second phase was sure to begin. I can end this now!Â
I switched to the Katana of Storms to finish the job, she used the R1 skill, "Makur, son of the Wind" which gave her a speed buff. Then she used the R2 skill, "Thunderkin, Rafaltar." She held it in the sheath and pulled it out with lightning efficiency. With that, the remaining fifty thousand of his health vanished.Â
The cutscene began, as he laid with his back on the ground, my character approached him. She had her sword pointed at him but sheathed it, "your days of tyranny are over. Accept death, Demon." My character spoke, this was her only other line this entire game! How cool is that?Â
The Demon King reached out to the sky, "I'm sorry Maria... I think... I'm coming home..." As he said that, his physical body seemingly crumbled as his soul started to rise. Then it stopped.Â
"God Slain." Appeared across the screen.Â
A bittersweet journey, with all the people my character came to know and the path she took, she took down not only a Demon King, but a Demon King in ascension....Â
Then the next scene played, and she was back at the tavern as everyone celebrated. Even the character I romanced, Julia Marvolda sat next to me looking at my character admirably.Â
With that, I was finally done with the game. I saved it and closed the application; I turned off my game and laid in my bed. I'd been playing for nearly two days with no breaks aside from the month I spent levelling up.Â
I dozed off, but that's all I remember. After that, I woke up in a luxurious bed, which I've never seen before. The room was dimly lit as the sun peeked through the curtains which were also elegant. I sat up and took a look around, something's off... I feel refreshed, almost too refreshed...Â
I got out the bed and went towards the mirror in the corner, then it hit me... IM THE DEMON KING??
I stammered backwards, then fell. I felt my lower back and, I had a tail too... What the hell is going on???
