The year is 6089, People deemed it the era of the approaching end.

Resources are running out. The surface isnt safe anymore.

As the earth's atmosphere collapsed, so did the majority of the life on earth.

 63 years, going on 64; Humanity - or what was left of it evacuated the planet, taking shelters in space resorts and orbiting the earth right above its atmosphere, until they found a new home to thrive in.

Currently, only 23 thousand humans are still alive-- the rest dead. as governments fall, people found no use for democracy or freedom; and history fell backwards. They formed a hierarchy, Survival was tough, after all. Only the rich and selected were allowed to live lavishly, and enjoy the luxury they had when they were on earth. The more pauper and unfortunate were turned to forced labour and slaving their lives away for the rich. slavery became common once more.

That was, until they found a new species, an unidentified intelligent life form..

"Hey."

She was suddenly snapped out of her thoughts by a familiar voice calling to her. "Oh, angel. sorry, what were you saying?"

"You're not listening." she tilted her head, her eyebrows furrowing a little in concern. "Whats on your mind?" the pink haired girl's dead black eyes stared deeply into Reiko's with that melancholic expression she always held.

"Nothing- Just.. dozing off. sorry." She waved dismissively, which seemed to concern angel even further. Reiko always tended to have this atmosphere of not wanting to make anyone worry about her or try to help her. Angel leaned forward "You're tired; jeez. do you even get enough sleep?"

"I do- What do you mean?"

"You sure? you seemed to be working pretty late yesterday."

"Ah-" She was called out this time- Reiko was a doctor in the training. it was her dream-- she could treat the rich and get enough to money to atleast live like one if she became one.

"Well-... I'll sleep in the afternoon. After my training." She excused.

"Kay." Angel squinted her eyes. "I better see your stress levels decrease by evening on your vitals, then." she pointed to the chip embedded in reiko's wrist.

It was a device implemented by the new government to keep crimes and deaths at a minimum low- they couldnt afford to lose more lives than they could gain. It had an almost creepy amount of information about people stored in that thing. always monitoring bodily and mental functions.. "Hmm.. Fine." Reiko sighed.
